Chapter 939 The Blood River Creatures


    The waves roared as they surged along the blood river. Darren and the others realized they''d be


    whisked away if they tried to cross it directly, and they were forced to flee downstream instead.

    Since escape was impossible, every warrior disyed their most powerful means of attack. Colors of


    light shone one after the other as ten-thousand-foot waves rose from the river with every swoop of a


    powerful attack. Many creatures were being annihted with every attack.


    They soon began to notice that their efforts bore no fruit. No matter how many they killed, it seemed


    like the swarm wasn''t slowing down. The creatures ended up killing a few more warriors from this


    attempt.


    On Darren''s side everything was still. None of the creatures were getting close to them.


    Darren noticed that every time one of the mysterious creatures died, a faint holy emperor''s power


    pervaded.


    "Assimte." At this point, Darren decided to activate his assimting power again.


    A faint holy emperor''s power gathered and rushed into Darren at quick speed. He could feel it as it


    flowed into his mind.


    After the holy emperor''s power entered his mind, it began to condense under the effect of Darren''s


    Fake God Character—the strange stone.


    "Don''t back down! Keep killing them!" Among that group of warriors were several five-tribtion junior


    holy warriors. For the sake of their survival, they were bringing out their strongest attacks against the

    Darren activated the assimting power, and the holy emperor''s power surged into his brain. The


    power transformed into liquid drops which attached to the strange stone within Darren.

    After this, no more mysterious creatures could be seen in the blood river. Darren absorbed enough


    power and condensed this into eight drops of the holy emperor''s power.

    Darren had actually gathered enough holy emperor''s power to form a hundred drops, but after eight

    The remaining five people, with wide eyes, were utterly speechless. The fear in their eyes was even


    stronger than when they were under siege by the mysterious creatures earlier. A few of them had


    already begun to break out in a cold sweat just by making eye contact with Darren.


    They never thought that the weak kid from earlier that day would suddenly be so fearless and


    powerful.
