The Fire Kylin almost went crazy at the sight of the giant dark dragon.

The cold voice of a golden Kylin echoed through the copsed space.
His appearance was very simr to that of the Water Kylin, but his breath was different. He was so
majestic that his presence seemed to eclipse the entire world!
The Fire Kylin shook his head.
"Damn it, you old asshole! Why are you here?" Darren and Finley shivered when the Fire Kylin barred
his teeth. He looked terrifying!
"I advised you to stop killing. Your actions are only bringing shame to your ancestors," the golden Kylin
said coldly.
"Ridiculous! I was bred by nature. I don''t have any ancestors.
I will kill you after I swallow this dragon. This is your only chance to leave. Get out while you still can!"

"Do you think that I will leave just because you asked? I am not going anywhere until I stop you."
"I will kill him, and there''s nothing you can do to stop me," the Fire Kylin said with a sinister smile.
His words sent a chill down the golden Kylin''s spine. He had battled with the Fire Kylin before and was
familiar with his strength. If he decided to kill that dragon, the golden Kylin wouldn''t be able to stop him.
What worried him more was that if he swallowed that dragon and awakened his blood, the Fire Kylin
would no longer be stoppable.
"What about me? Can I stop you?"
An old voice dispersed the silence that had descended. It seemed like something colossal was
approaching the sea surface.
"It''s you! You old turtle man! Aren''t you afraid that I will destroy your whole n if you intervene now?"
"Since I''m here, do you think I am afraid of you?" The old turtle man narrowed his eyes, but he looked

"Thank you so much, sir!" Darren returned to his human form.
In the next moment, Finley used the Spatial Rule to create an escape passage for him and Darren.

Enraged, the Fire Kylin raised his ws and shed at his rivals.

By now, the old turtle man had summoned his earthy yellow shield. A loud sound echoed in the void
when the Fire Kylin''s sharp ws collided with the shield.
"Well, very good!"
Within a few seconds, Darren and Finley escaped the Fire Kylin. He was furious.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime awakening opportunity for the Fire Kylin. However, this old turtle man had
robbed him of the chance by allowing his targets to escape. The Fire Kylin was beside himself and
wanted to kill the old turtle man.
The Fire Kylin turned into a ball of fire and flew toward the old turtle man.
The old turtle man was as motionless as a mountain under ayer of his earthy yellow shield.
Boom.
The earth shook after the collision, and the earthy yellow shield around the old turtle man''s body
cracked slightly. But, in the blink of an eye, the crack was repaired.
The Fire Kylin couldn''t believe it. He attacked the shield tens of thousands of times in a row!
"You can indeed kill me, but it will take you at least three years to break through all my defenses."
The old turtle man closed his eyes and allowed the Fire Kylin to continue attacking him.
The golden Kylin found it impossible to sit back and watch the old turtle man get attacked.
He knew that if he were not here, this crazy Fire Kylin would trap the old turtle man for several years
until his defense broke.
A bolt of lightning exploded and rushed at the Fire Kylin. Since his attention was divided, he could no
longer attack the old turtle man with all his strength.
After several rounds of fierce fighting, the Fire Kylin realized that he couldn''t kill both of them.
And so, he decided to retreat.
"Remember what you''ve done today. I will exterminate your n and make you feel the agony you''ve
caused me."
The Fire Kylin nced up at the void and stepped into the distance.
The old turtle man and the golden Kylin didn''t chase him as they knew that they could not kill him.
Then, the old turtle man returned to the Turtle Man n.
"Wee back, sir!" Everyone was overjoyed when the old turtle man returned safely.
"Let''s go! That lunatic will find us if we stay here!" The old turtle man had never been so nervous.
"Help me gather our people. We need to hide in the ck Turtle Shell," the old turtle man instructed
another turtle man.
"Understood."
After a short while, all the members of the Turtle Man n gathered and headed toward the ck
Turtle Shell.
"Darren, why don''t youe with us?" the old turtle man suggested.
"Sir, we shouldn''t bother you anymore," Darren replied with a shake of his head.
"But you have already bothered us!" The little turtle curled his lips. "Come on! Shut up and swallow
your pride. You''ve offended the Fire Kylin, and you''re destined to die. My grandpa came to your rescue
out of kindness. ept his offer!"
"Ahem! I apologize if my grandson has offended you. But he is right. You''re a dragon, and the Fire Kylin
will never let you go. If he kills you, we''ll suffer more," the old turtle man rationalized.
"Well then, we will have to bother you for some more time." Darren finally epted.
Now that the Fire Kylin regarded Darren as his primary target, it was dangerous for Darren to leave the
Turtle Man n.
Everyone walked toward a mountain.
At the bottom of the mountain was an oval-shaped mouth. It was one hundred feet high and fifty feet
wide.
Darren felt a strange aura as soon as he entered the mountain. It was different from the ordinary
mountains. Perhaps the aura was the remnants of creatures that lived here in the past.
"Sir, the Fire Kylin is very powerful. Can this mountain protect us?" Finley asked.
"Don''t underestimate our ck Turtle Shell." The little turtle man snorted and continued, "My
grandfather has told us that our ancestors left us the mysterious ck Turtle Shell. Its defensive power
is a hundred thousand times stronger than my grandfather''s. Do you believe it will keep you safe now?"
Upon hearing this exnation, people on the scene gasped in astonishment. ''Is the shell''s defense a
hundred thousand times stronger than that of the patriarch of the Turtle Man n? If so, then even a
holy emperor couldn''t break through the defense!''
"Little turtle man, if the ck Turtle Shell is as strong as you say, why were you afraid of the Water

As Darren hadn''t taken the Water Kylin to collect the Burial Spirit Flower, he missed seeing the golden

man''s exnation, he couldn''t pass up the opportunity to refute him.

it either. That''s why you idiot," the little turtle man said as he red at the Water Kylin.
"Well, let''s not waste any more time. Shall we head inside?" the old turtle man interjected.
"Okay," Darren responded. Then, he turned to re at the Water Kylin. He was using eye contact to
warn the Water Kylin to stop him from talking.
The interior of the ck Turtle Shell was empty. Except for the ceiling and the four walls, there was
nothing in it. They could even see the texture of the tortoise shell.
"It''s a dead turtle shell," the Water Kylin murmured.
Buzz.
All of a sudden, a strong power descended upon him.
Even the old turtle man appeared angry.
"Keep silent. No one will regard you as a dummy!" Darren roared at the Water Kylin.
The turtle shell belonged to the Turtle Man n''s ancestor''s and the Water Kylin''s words were
offensive.
The Water Kylin was shocked and embarrassed. After Darren reprimanded him, he realized that he
had gone too far. So, he apologized immediately, "I''m sorry. Please ept my apology..."
Only then did the pressure dissipate.
"We will probably be here for quite a while as we can''t leave until the Fire Kylin cools down or shifts his
attention somewhere else.
As this ce is not spacious, we have little else to do but practice our skills."
"Yes, sir."
All the members of the Turtle Man n fell asleep in a sh, and the whole space became deathly still.
Only the little turtle man looked around idly.
