Chapter 763 A New World (Part Two)

Writhing on the ground in pain, the little creature let out a hissing sound.

After suppressing its pain, it stared upward at Darren without blinking.

Darren''s curiosity got the best of him, which was why he wasn''t in a hurry to kill it just yet. Instead, he

wanted to know where it hade from.

"Now, run for your life!" Darren ordered and kicked it away with one foot. Then, using his Air-integrated

True Rule, he made himself invisible.

Though its legs were cut off, the wounds it had sustained weren''t deadly enough to endanger its life. It

Time passed, and once everything quieted down until it could only hear the sound of its own breathing,

the little creature rose warily. After scouring around with quick cautious eyes, it flew towards the

    deepest part of the cave.

Darren followed it, of course. He halted until they reached a green stone. The creature bore itself into it

    N?vel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive ? material.

    and disappeared from sight.

    "Is there a passage here?"

Darren revealed himself and studied the green stone for a while.

To him, it looked like an ordinary stone only the color was different. Gingerly, not wanting to disturb

whatever might be lurking inside, he reached out his hand and touched it softly.

The stone appeared cold and soft to the touch. As soon as his hand got in contact with it, a wave of

ripples spread out like a water flow. Darren immediately realized that a strange and abstruse Spatial

Rule was hidden behind the stone.

"Oh, I see." Darren smiled lightly then entered.

The second his feet touched the ground, he felt an ancient and deste aura suddenly encircling him.

The sight before him slowly blurred and faded until he could no longer see anything butplete and

never-ending darkness, as if he were traveling in the space turbulent flows.

A momentter, he heard the sound of the wind blowing and the sight before him suddenly cleared.

A wholly new world he''d never seen in his life came into view. There were towering trees, in and

vast swards of grass and gigantic wandering beasts.

"Where the hell am I?" muttered Darren.

He rubbed his eyes, uncertain whether he was truly awake or not.

''How can such a world exist here?'' Darren thought in wonder.

He stood there quietly, breathing in the fresh air and feeling rxed in an all-consuming way he''d never

    felt before.

"Why not practice martial arts for a while?"

Deciding to go through with that idea, Darren sat with his legs crossed and began practicing the de

    intent in his mind.

His sword intent had reached the extreme level. Once he sessfully upgraded his de intent to the

same level, he would be able toprehend the Fringe Holy Will and make a breakthrough towards

    the Holy Realm.

After several hours of cultivation, Darren suddenly opened his eyes.

"It''s incredible. In this state of serenity, my de intentprehension speed has be ten times

faster." Darren got a surge of inspiration that this was a very rare chance for him to practice his

cultivation. He hadn''t expected that following the little creature would lead him into such a holynd.

"I''d better get out of here, or Elsa will worry."

Reluctantly, he rose and went back the same way he came in.

"What took you so long?" Elsa grumbled. She''d been waiting for him with ever growing worry and fear.

"Darren, what''s in there? Did you get a hold of it?" inquired Nate. Apparently, he had already returned.

"Nothing. It was just a small beast. It ran away," answered Darren.

"What? I can''t believe it would slip through your fingers. It must have been a great demon!" Elsa

    eximed in surprise.

"Not really. I let it go." Darren smiled and continued, "By releasing it, I was able to find a treasure that

will shock you most of all. It''s beyond anything you could imagine! Let''s go and see it."

Darren returned to the mine with the other two following right behind.

"Wow! The air here is so fresh and clean that it feels even better than being in the Starry Tower," Elsa

cried out in wonder. Flinging herself on the soft and fragrant grass, she closed her eyes and enjoyed

the quietness and peace of the world with stretched arms and legs.

"Darren, where is the treasure you mentioned? Why haven''t I seen it yet?" asked Nate, studying the

surroundings carefully. It was obvious that Nate was a rather bold and vulgar guy. His interesty more

in the treasure Darren had mentioned rather than the splendor of the ancient world.

"We''ll get to it soon enough. Let''s keep looking around,"

Darren answered, helping Elsa up. Together, they flew slowly towards the distant mountain.

As they flew along, the sun started to go down and was now lingering on the western horizon. All day,

they''d seen many strange nts and creatures but still there was no trace of the little creature that

Darren hade across in the mine.

    Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Just when Darren and Elsa wanted to stop and practice, streams of ck shadows shed about and

    encircled them.

These ck shadows, as Darren had guessed correctly, were none other than thepanions of the

little creature that he had seen back in the mine.

"Wow, they seem very fierce!" Elsa pursed her lips.

"I don''t want to smear this ce with blood. If you don''t want to die, just run for your life!" Darren

roared, startling all the other beasts wandering about.

However, his threatening words did not scare those little creatures off.

Instead, they all snarled at Darren like infuriated rabid dogs. Their teeth were long and jagged and their

    eyes red and fierce.

    "What the hell!"

Darren frowned. It wasn''t until then that he''d realized the strong primitive aura that wafted around the

creatures. It gave off the same feeling as the Primitive Fighting Force he knew.
