Chapter 967 Rocky And Alyssa''s Secret
Rocky''s eyes narrowed as he heard what Alyssa had to say. He was not the type to give up easily, and
there was no way he would sit around and wait for death. After a quick thought, he turned around and
looked at the ancient spiritual beast manipted by the Dragon-shaped Soul Beast. He stared at it for
a moment and then looked at the endless ck abyss under his feet. Without a word, he reached out
and grabbed Alyssa''s waist.
"What are you doing?" asked Alyssa. She was shocked by Rocky''s sudden boldness. Her beautiful
eyes lit up as she felt Rocky''s arm around her. She wanted to protest, but she did not want Rocky to
see the blush that suddenly colored her cheeks.
"Take us up. I was just in the state of Spirit Possession, so I have little strength left. I need your help on
this," Rocky said, as he pointed at the ancient spiritual beast.
"Go up? Do you want the spiritual beast to take us out of here? Rocky, we are at the bottom of the
cave. With its size, how can it take us out?" Alyssa shook her head as she tried to reason out. She
could not imagine what Rocky was trying to aplish.
"You said so yourself. The Mysterious Cave would copse anytime. Then that would be an opportunity
for us to go out. After the cave copses, the ground above it will definitely copse as well. At that
time, we can go out. But you have to hurry, or we will be buried alive," Rocky urged.
This time, Alyssa understood what Rocky wanted to do. It was risky, but there was no other way.
Calmly, she took him to the back of the ancient spiritual beast with her.

Finally, the powerful ancient spiritual beast flew out of the cave and escaped the disaster with its
passengers.
Rocky and Alyssa were both relieved to be out in the open once again.

However, soon after they escaped death, several men from the Wood n appeared not far away.
They were bothered by the powerful tremors, and they came to check what was happening.
"Hey! Summon your spiritual beast." Rocky nudged Alyssa. He could not let the nsmen of the Wood
n know that he had subdued the sealed ancient spiritual beast.
Alyssa knew what Rocky was thinking. After a moment of hesitation, she summoned her spiritual beast
and then flew to the back of the beast with Rocky.
In the nick of time, Rocky opened the Magic Spiritual Space. The ancient spiritual beast flew right into
the Magic Spiritual Space and disappeared.
The nsmen of the Wood n arrived just as Rocky closed the Magic Spiritual Space. Their leader
was a level-two ordinary spiritual being with a dark green skin and a fierce look on his face.
"Your Royal Highness, why did youe out of here? The elder is worried about you." The leader of
the ordinary spiritual being was a little surprised when he saw Rocky and Alyssa came out of the hole
with dust. He did not expect the two of them toe out from the hole, since it was far from the one
where they two had fallen into.
Alyssa nced at Rocky first then answered the level-two ordinary spiritual being with amanding
voice, "I am here to take him to the elder and I have something important to report. We have to go
now!" She then signaled the spiritual beast to fly away.
The moment they got away from the nsmen of the Wood n, Alyssa felt a tremendous relief. She
then turned to re at Rocky and reprimanded him, "You destroyed the altar and released the sealed
ancient spiritual beast. If they find out, even I can''t protect you."
"I did not intend to do that. Besides, I did not destroy the altar. Do you think I have the ability to do
that?" Rocky said innocently. In truth, he did not directly destroy the altar. It was destroyed by the
Dragon-shaped Soul Beast, and he just picked up the ancient spiritual beast on impulse.
"No one knew. Just take it as a secret between us. Don''t mention it to anyone." Alyssa felt
downhearted. She did not expect that bringing Rocky to the Wood n would cause so much trouble.
She knew that if the patriarch and the elders found out about the altar and the ancient spiritual beast,
Rocky would be in hot water. Alyssa could not believe the forbidden area of the Wood n was
destroyed by a human. Worst, the ancient spiritual beast was unsealed and was removed from the
abyss. No logic or reason would convince the Wood n to allow it to happen.
Rocky shrugged and smiled, as if it was the most natural thing to happen.
"By the way, the sealed ancient spiritual beast does not possess a soul. Why did it move freely? What
did you do to it?" Alyssa was not convinced. She knew that Rocky must have done something to bring
the ancient spiritual beast back to life.
"You know I can''t tell you." Rocky answered Alyssa with a smile. He realized he could not fool her, so
he used his charm on her. Anyway, he knew Alyssa would do nothing to harm him.
Sure enough, Alyssa only red at Rocky. She knew very well that she could not force him to admit
anything. With a feeling of hopelessness, she gave up.
Before long, Alyssa took Rocky to the tree house hanging above the moon-shapedke. The two
entered the tree house in silence.
