As soon as Woods stepped out of the carriage, he saw thirty mysterious masked men who were all
dressed in ck. All of them looked like spirit maniptors, and most of them were between the Mortal
Stage and the Earthly Stage. However, four of them were at the Heavenly Stage. They seemed to
arrive there for a specific reason.
"Your Royal Highness..." At that time, three bodyguards at the Heavenly Stage presented themselves
in front of Woods.
"Who are these people?" Woods asked immediately.
"They look like mercenaries," one of them replied.

"No, I think they might havee here to kill me," Rocky said with furrowed eyebrows. He had heard
from Woods why he and the Crimson Dragon Group soldiers were ambushed by Alyssa and why they
were also pursued by the forces of the Timber Deity Empire. Apparently, someone had secretly
revealed the information of their location. Rocky was certain that Alston was behind all of it.
''These spirit maniptors might be sent by Alston too. He wants to kill me now and take advantage of

"They are here to kill you? Are you sure?" Woods was shocked. He did not know why someone would
send so many mercenaries to kill Rocky. He thought that the news of Rocky being a traitor must have

"Ask your men to block them. Let''s run first!" Rocky told Woods after giving the matter some thought.
