Chapter 629 Loneliness


    Right at that moment, in Rocky''s eyes, Isis was as beautiful as a fairy that shone brightly like a


    diamond.

    "Nothing." Isis shook her head. She tried to calm down by taking a deep breath, but to no avail.


    "Are you drunk?" Rocky wondered and asked as he noticed that Isis'' face was turning red, like a


    blushing rose.


    "I''m not! I''m sober! You are the one who''s drunk!" Pretending to be calm, Isis could not handle the


    tension as she was getting more and more ufortable and uneasy. Right at that moment, her eyes


    fell on the bottle of wine on the table. Gritting her teeth, she wanted to ovee her difort so she


    hurriedly went to the table and poured herself a ss of wine. She then emptied the ss as an


    attempt to boost her courage.


    However, she did not feel anything special upon finishing her drink. Therefore, she poured herself


    some more and drank it all up again.


    "Hey, I don''t think that you should be drinking so much. Otherwise, you''ll get drunk." Not knowing if Isis


    was good at drinking alcoholic beverages or not, he tried to warn her. After all, regardless if she was a


    good drinker, anyone would surely get drunk if they drank too quickly, just like how she was doing at


    that moment.


    "I don''t care. It''s none of your business!" Isis responded immediately, pouting her lips. The once sober


    Isis was now starting to get a little bit tipsy, and was now unconsciously showing her cute and attractive


    side that had never been seen by anyone.


    "But don''t you think drinking alone is quite boring? How about we drink together?" Rocky proposed,


    smiling, as he was a cat who got the cream.


    "But I''m warning you, Rocky. No funny business and never make alcohol as an excuse in doing dumb


    things. Remember that you are no match for me. If you dare try and do something improper, I will not


    hesitate to kill you tonight." The boring Isis was now being a tad bit more interesting after drinking that


    she was able to show humor in the smallest of things. Of course her words could never frighten Rocky,


    but her charm was attracting Rocky all at the same time.


    "Oh,e on. We just got married! Have you already nned to murder your husband? Don''t worry. I


    will not do anything improper even you force me to do it. Besides, I don''t take advantage of anyone,"


    Rocky said frankly.


    Blinking her beautiful eyes, Isis then handed over the ss of wine to Rocky. Then, she stood up and


    took the other ss, along with the wine bottle and sat on the bed as she poured wine into the two


    sses.


    "Let''s make a toast. Cheer to our fake marriage!" Rocky raised his ss full of wine.


    Isis nked her ss with his and then emptied the contents in one go.


    Afterwards, Isis filled both of their sses again. Blinking her eyes, she said, "This toast is for you


    saving my life. If it weren''t for you, then I wouldn''t be alive today, enjoying all this wine. I have never


    imagined getting married, but at least I have no regrets in marrying you." Right after she finished her


    words, she then lifted her ss and drank all of the wine again in one gulp.


    Rocky could only smile at her as he saw her chug the wine at a fast pace.


    "What can I say? Thank you for marrying me. I will always remember what you have done for me,"


    Rocky answered back as he took the wine bottle from Isis. Filling his ss again with wine, he drank it


    up in one go.


    "Yes, that''s right. For that, you must repay me in the future. If not, then I will hunt you down. Come on,


    let me propose another toast to you..." Isis was bing more tipsy. Smiling in a daze, she poured


    herself another ss of wine which she chugged until thest drop.


    Toasting to each other for several times, the couple had finally emptied the wine bottle.


    Isis'' face was now as red as a ripe tomato and seemed very drunk. Lazily, she then leaned herself


    against Rocky''s body.


    "I knew this was going to happen." Rocky shook his head in dismay.


    "Lady, I didn''t expect you would be unable to hold your drink." Rocky tried to push Isis away from him,


    but Isis refused as she bit right onto his hand.


    Flinching, Rocky withdrew his hand quickly out of the tremendous pain. However, a row teeth marks


    had already appeared on his hand. Shaking his hands in pain, he turned his eyes to Isis who had


    already taken off her wedding dress.
