Chapter 606 A Perfect Experiment
When he saw what happened, Rocky immediately went to its aid. He began to apply a series of
procedures that could help save its life. In spite of all his efforts, the body temperature of the Dark
Heaven Insect Queen continued to drop after the operation. Slowly, its body turned cold while its breath
gradually became weaker. Soon after, it breathed itsst.
"What a waste! In the end, I could not save it." Rocky appeared crestfallen as he stared at the remains
of the Dark Heaven Insect Queen. It was indeed a very valuable specimenpared to the average
spiritual beasts. He thought about how difficult it would be for him to acquire another one like it.
But as luck would have it, the Dark Heaven Insect Queen was able toy ten eggs before its untimely
demise. It would make him feel a lot less burdened if those eggs were to hatch sessfully. However,
there was one thing that bothered Rocky. He was not entirely sure whether those eggs would survive
and hatch without any difficulty.
It was established that the eggs had a very poor hatch rate. He already did his best to develop the Dark
Heaven Insect Queen''s ovaries and make it a hospitable environment capable of producing offspring.
Despite that, it still was not determined whether the hatch rate had improved as well. For Rocky, it was
extremely worrisome to think that he might end up with nothing if the hatch rate had not improved as he
hoped.
The safety of the ten eggs was now his top priority. To ensure that, he put them inside the Magic
Spiritual Space as soon as he could and carefully organized them. As for the remains of the Dark
Heaven Insect Queen, he brought it to a cemetery on the outskirts of the Evian City. There he found a
patch of fertilend where he benignly buried it.
After a while, he decided to return to the Super Beast Farm. It was then that he saw people moving
about inside.
"Can you check the shop thoroughly? See if there is anything missing. After that, check on the spirit-
manipted beasts on the beast farm as well. I''m afraid some of them may have gotten lost," Shawn,
the branch store owner of the Super Beast Farm, ordered.
"How are you, Mr. Huang?" Rocky called out as soon as he entered the store.
Shawn spun around to see who it was. A look of immense relief swept over his face when he saw that
it was Rocky. "Mr. Bai? How fortunate that you are here!" he said as they shook hands.
"Have you finished making the things I asked of you thest time we talked?" Rocky asked.
"Certainly. Two days before the battle began, they were sent here. I was deeply troubled that I might

not be able to hand them to you should the Evian City fall into the hands of the enemy. It would have
been such a disgrace if that ever happened. Thank the heavens, Evian City is safe and sound now! We
have stored all those things you asked for in the Super Beast Farm warehouse. You need not worry,
Mr. Bai. I will ask someone to bring them over to your ce at once," Shawn said while smiling in a
sycophantic way. He regarded Rocky as though he was the God of Wealth. Nothing mattered more to
him than maintaining his favor.
"There is no need for that. These things are extremely heavy and it would take longer to carry them
out. You can just take me to the warehouse and I will take care of them myself." Rocky politely waved
him off.
Shawn stared at him in amazement and nodded quickly. Then, he immediately obliged as though what
Rocky said was a decree by the emperor himself.
They proceeded to walk towards the Super Beast Farm warehouse. As they reached its doors, Rocky
asked Shawn to just wait outside. One by one, he put the things he ordered into the Magic Spiritual
Space. Almost all of them were materials he needed in building hisboratory. These included an
operating table and a test stand which were made of pure steel. He also ordered cabs in which he
could store his specimens and other materials. Aside from that, there were also operating machines
and different paraphernalia required in his experiments and surgeries.
After making sure that he got everything he needed, he took heaps of rare items and materials he
acquired from wild spirit-manipted beasts out of the Magic Spiritual Space. Then, he arranged them
neatly and carefully in one of the storage units in the warehouse. Soon after that, he joined Shawn
outside.
"Remember the goods you asked us to sell? Regrettably, we only sold half of them. Even so, we
already acquired arge sum of money for them. Should you need the money, I can give it to you now,"
Shawn asked promptly as Rocky came out of the warehouse.
"I see. I will take it, then," he replied.
Shawn bowed and motioned at one of his men toe over. He asked him to fetch the stack of golden
bills in the cashier. Then, he proceeded to hand the money over to Rocky. "This amounts to fifty-
thousand golden bills. Go ahead and take them. We have more if you need them."
Without even looking at the golden bills, Rocky took them and put them in his bag.
"By the way, I left some materials in the warehouse. You can sell them as you like." Having said that,
Rocky turned around and went on his way.
Shortly after he left, Shawn went inside the warehouse. His jaw almost hit the floor as he stared
dumbfounded at the stacks of tthree-star materials and rare items left by Rocky. He stood there,
awestruck at the sight of these valuables while thanking the heavens for his incredible luck.
From the Super Beast Farm, Rocky headed towards the Spiritual Fairnd. This ce was well
outside Evian City but not entirely far away. He had already nned on constructing hisboratory as
well as hatching the ten eggs left by the Dark Heaven Insect Queen.
Compared to the Myriad Beasts Ground, the Spiritual Fairnd was the ideal ce to hatch them. It
was much safer here. Wild spirit-manipted beasts often came to it. Usually, they were of one-star or
two-star quality. On some rare asions, wild spirit-manipted beasts of three-star quality were also
encountered here.
Upon entering the Spiritual Fairnd, he wasted no time in searching for the optimal ce to hatch the
eggs. He found a mound of earth and lured a Dark Heaven Insect to leave the Magic Spiritual Space
and dig a cave under the earth. He put the eggs inside and prepared for their hatching.
There was a scarcity of avable information on how to sessfully hatch these eggs. Rocky only had
his own experience to rely on when it came to improving the quality of the eggs'' environment.
ording to his knowledge, the Dark Heaven Insects were able to live underground for indefinite
periods of time. So by that logic, a Dark Heaven Insect Queen most probablyid its eggs in a cave
under the earth and hatched them there.
Unfortunately, the cave he built was dreadfully dark and moist. The temperature inside it was also
remarkably cold. The setting was not ideal for hatching the delicate eggs. Thus, Rocky took it upon
himself to develop the area and enhance it.
He left the cave and started to chop some trees and made kindling out of them. After a while, he
gathered the charcoals and stacked them neatly inside the cave. The hot embers began to raise the
temperature of the cave. Soon, the whole ce was filled with enough warmth suitable for hatching
eggs.
Rocky proceeded to meticulously examine each of the ten eggs. He recorded their initial statistics such
as temperature and the frequency of their movements.
"All I can do now is wait patiently and hope for the best results," Rocky murmured as he let out an
audible sigh. With that said, he opened the Magic Spiritual Space and continued with the construction
of hisboratory.
Before any of this happened, theboratory was almost close to finishing. It only needed a few more
repairs and it would be good to go.
To ensure that theb would be imprable, he ordered a special batch of thin, soft iron sheets.
Although these might look like wallpapers, they were surprisingly sturdy and durable.
Both the interior and exterior of theboratory were thoroughly covered with this material. Theb was,
without a doubt, pletely secured. Subsequently, Rocky installed a venttion system he designed
himself up on the roof. This was to make sure that there was an adequate cirction of the air inside.
Finally finishing its construction, he permanently fixed the customized operating table andboratory
table onto the floor of theb. Afterward, he added the operating machines. His different specimens
and other experimentation paraphernalia were organized in the cabs he also procured from Shawn.
