Chapter 547 A Melee
The Heavenly Stage masters from various forces were gathered in front of the hall. With wild ferocious
spirit-manipted beasts surrounding them from all sides, a look of nervousness and fright was painted
on all of their faces. Even a few Earthly Stage masters were trembling in fear and too scared to leave
the hall.
Suddenly, a booming voice eximed in reassurance, "Don''t panic! Only when we link hands can we
all have a chance at survival. From now on, everyone must follow my orders." It was Erica. She had
thought long and hard about their current situation and concluded that the only way to solve their
problem was the union of all the Heavenly Stage masters across all the forces.
All the Heavenly Stage masters'' attention was drawn to Erica. Whether or not it was because of her
power of the Supernal Stage or her natural charm, many of the Heavenly Stage masters began to
gather around her with only two or three of them smirking in arrogance and unwillingness to yield to
her. They stayed in their ces instead.
Seeing that Erica had taken his advice, an evil smile crept into the corners of Rocky''s mouth. He
realized that now would be the best time for him to escape as long as she and the others were busy
trying to break through their encirclement.
Although everything was ready, he still required one final step.
''"Where are you greedy Rainbow Glow Unicorn?" murmured Rocky as he looked around. If his
research was correct, Rainbow Glow Unicorn should be nearby. It was known for its ability to hunt for
treasure, and so it should have arrived here long ago. However, to his surprise, he didn''t see Rainbow
Glow Unicorn at all. Because the spiritual power between both of them had notpletely connected
yet, he couldn''t figure out its exact location.
Rainbow Glow Unicorn was superb at hiding—a skill that came in handy when it needed to escape.
Otherwise, it would''ve been easily noticed by others.
"You human spirit maniptors are already biting off more than you can chew!" the Dark Lord
eximed in disdain with a sullen face upon seeing the masters of the Heavenly Stage united together.
At the wave of his hand, the wild spirit-manipted beasts began to close the gap between them and
Erica and the masters of the Heavenly Stage.
"Move!" Erica ordered. Erica wasted no precious time. She shouted and immediately summoned her
Glint Phoenix from the Magic Spiritual Space. As it emerged, it revealed a rare and powerful spiritual
beast style.
Without dy, Erica mounted onto her Glint Phoenix before observing the wild spirit-manipted
beasts surrounding her and rushing forward.
The other Heavenly Stage masters followed closely while riding their spirit-manipted beasts.
A melee of more than a dozen figures with their beast shadows fighting a group of wild spirit-
manipted beasts ensued.
The remaining spirit maniptors who were unyielding earlier followed suit. None of them wished to die
in this ce.
Anyone involved in the ongoing brawl ced themselves in great danger. That was why Rocky made
the call to not summon Rubygon since its strength was rtively weak and couldn''t take the risk.
Besides, more spirit-manipted beasts didn''t make any difference in this situation. So he happily
waited and watched.
The Heavenly Stage masters fought bravely under Erica''s leadership. Soon, they were able to escape
the wild spirit-manipted beasts'' encirclement.
With her incredible power of the Supernal Stage paired with the special ability of Glint Phoenix, she
could rebound the damaged light membrane. The ferocious and wild spirit-manipted beasts posed
no threat to her.
"As much as I would''ve liked to spare some of your lives, it''s time I teach you all a lesson!" the Dark
Lord shouted. The Dark Lord''s face grew dim upon seeing that Erica and the Heavenly Stage masters
were still trying to break through. Immediately, he turned into a ghost-like figure and floated towards the
Heavenly Stage masters fighting with the wild spirit-manipted beasts.
Suddenly, a horrifying scream broke through the airwaves. Erica and the masters turned their heads
toward the sound and were shocked to find a thin hand holding a third grade Heavenly Stage spirit

maniptor in the air with ease as if he was a feather. The warrior didn''t even have time to resist.
Without warning, his entire body was enveloped in green light and he began to convulse violently.
Within seconds, his body was sucked dry before an audible crack signaled that his neck had been
broken. Even from the beginning, he never stood a chance.
Having just witnessed this, the Heavenly Stage masters'' faces turned pale with shock.
"Don''t stop! Keep going!" Erica encouraged her "soldiers" despite the gruesome scene that had just
urred.
Out of nowhere, a beast''s shadow bigger than Glint Phoenix appeared before Erica. Behind it were a
few other beast shadows that resembled elephants.
Upon closer observation, Erica realized that the beast before her was a wild spirit-manipted beast of
the fourth grade of the five-star level. It had features simr to a giant scorpion, ferocious in movement
and sinister in appearance. With strength equivalent to that of a Supernal Stage master, its aura
matched hers.
"A Demonic Scorpion of the fourth grade of the five-star level," Rocky muttered with a frown. Although
this Demonic Scorpion wasn''t as powerful as the Furious Long-nosed Bear that he had ughtered in
the past alongside Sabina, this scorpion was a killing machine that shouldn''t be underestimated.
Erica was appalled upon seeing the scorpion. The Heavenly Stage spirit maniptors following her
from behind stopped dead in their tracks. They knew that rushing towards that beast meant instant
death for anyone who dared to draw near.
Two more screams rang out—the screams of two Heavenly Stage masters who were left behind and
killed by the Dark Lord.
''This is no way to die, '' Rocky thought to himself. After a moment''s hesitation, he reached into his
pouch and withdrew a bottle containing a few drops of magical saliva. He quickly rushed towards Erica.
"There you are! Let''s lure the big fellow away first," he said to Erica. He ced the bottle of magical
saliva in her hand before taking a nce at the scorpion that blocked their way.
As soon as Erica received the bottle, the scorpion was immediately attracted to its scent. The other wild
spirit-manipted beasts followed soon after, gathering towards it like moths drawn to the glow of a lit
candle.
