    "So soon?" Sabina frowned. The strange light had shed yesterday, and people from all over had


    alreadye to search for it. She imagined they must have been prepared for this.


    "By the way, they mentioned something," Rocky suddenly remembered. "They called it the Sea Blue


    Magic Jade. Do you know what that is?" Rocky turned to face Sabina.


    "Sea Blue Magic Jade? Are you sure they said that?" Sabina asked in disbelief, unable to contain her


    shock.


    Rocky nodded, confused. He wasn''t sure why she was so surprised. "What exactly is this jade?"


    "This jade has absorbed the essence of heaven and earth. Thus, it possesses a spirit. It stays hidden,


    deep under the earth — it emerges only every three years. If a spirit maniptor is able to obtain it, he


    won''t have to cultivate for at least ten years!" Sabina eximed with certainty. "It is a rare treasure that


    every spirit maniptor yearns for."


    "You have got to be kidding me!" Rocky raised his eyebrows. If what Sabina said was true, he''d be able


    to reach the Supernal Stage in no time, if he could get his hands on that jade.


    "This jade is so special, it can absorb the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, manifesting it into


    spiritual power for spirit maniptors to cultivate. It is said that across the Wild Spirit Land, no one but


    a man of the Immortal Stage owns a Sea Blue Magic Jade. Rumor has it, he is only able to reach the


    full potential of his supreme strength because of this very jade. Therefore this jade is invaluable."


    Sabina paused. "Or well, at least, that''s what I have heard. We don''t know whether or not the jade is


    actually that powerful, but surely, it is a useful treasure!" Sabina''s eyes twinkled as she exined this

    "No wonder it left me behind to look for the jade," Rocky muttered under his breath, scratching his chin.

    "Nothing," Rocky said hastily. "We''d better leave as soon as possible. It would be a pity if someone else


    found the jade earlier than us." Rocky envisioned himself, sping the magic jade, finally able to reach


    the Supernal Stage.


    "Wait, you just mentioned ''women''," Sabina suddenly mentioned.


    "Yes. They rode an extremely rare spirit-manipted beast — the Glint Phoenix," replied Rocky, deep


    in thought.


    "The Glint Phoenix? Perhaps they are spirit maniptors whoe from the Magic Phoenix Empire,"


    Sabina pondered aloud.


    "The Magic Phoenix Empire..." Rocky recalled that time he dealt with the people from this empire. At a


    fightingpetition between the Magic Phoenix Empire and the Holy Dragon Empire, he, on behalf of


    thetter, defeated several phoenix spirit maniptors. One of which was Erica — the top phoenix


    spirit maniptor in her empire and also, a beautiful woman. She had been a difficult opponent, and


    Rocky had to team up with the imperial instructor, Mia, to defeat her. Of course, in actuality, he only


    won out of sheer luck.


    "There is but one phoenix spirit maniptor who has Glint Phoenix. Is she the one who hase?"


    Sabina guessed, eyeing Rocky intently.


    "Who is she?" Rocky asked, as he met Sabina''s intense stare.


    "Where did you see them?" Sabina asked unflinchingly, deliberately ignoring his question.


    Rocky gestured towards the direction he hade from, and Sabina immediately took off, Duchess


    Silver following closely behind her.


    "What happened to her? I wonder why she''s suddenly more anxious than me," Rocky pondered, truly


    puzzled by her strange behavior. Nevertheless, he followed closely behind her.


    However, when they arrived at the spot where the phoenix spirit maniptors had initially emerged, no


    one was there.


    "They must have headed in the direction of the strange light," Rocky guessed, after studying the tracks


    left on the dirt.


    "Let''s go," Sabina said with hesitation. She followed the tracks, Duchess Silver at her heel.


    After a day and a night of trailing the tracks, they came to an abrupt stop. The tracks suddenly ended


    — it was as though the phoenix spirit maniptors had vanished into thin air. Rocky and Sabina,


    exhausted from tracking them down, felt weary and discouraged.


    "Hey, can you tell me first why you''re so anxious to chase them?" Rocky, who had managed to catch


    up to her, finally asked.


    "It''s none of your business," Sabina replied coldly.


    Suddenly, Rocky sensed something. He yanked Sabina by the arm into a thick bush.


    Ten figures garbed in Timber Deity Empire clothing appeared.


    "They are from the Timber Deity Empire?" Rocky whispered, clearly surprised. He didn''t expect the


    spirit maniptors of the Timber Deity Empire to arrive so soon. Upon studying the figures further, he


    realized that four of them were masters who had reached the Heavenly stage, or even higher. The rest


    were of the Earthly Stage. Although none of them were at the Supernal Stage, Rocky didn''t doubt for a

    "It seems the Timber Deity Empire has also taken action," Sabina frowned.


    Shortly after, the figures took off.


    Rocky and Sabina appeared from the bush.


    "Well, looks like more people are vying for the jade. Interesting," Rocky said sarcastically, as he folded


    his arms.


    "There will be more spirit maniptors on the way, But it definitely won''t be easy to get close to the


    light. Without certain strength, it''s impossible to get to it unscathed," Sabina said with a scowl.


    "It''s not bad to have more people chasing after it. After they fight amongst themselves, we can sneak in


    and get it easily." A mischievous smile crept up the corners of Rocky''s mouth.


    "It''s not that simple to obtain the jade," Sabina sighed exasperatedly. "Like a spirit-manipted beast, it


    chooses its owner. Therefore, even if you did find the jade, it will be useless to you if it doesn''t allow


    you to own it." Sabina nced at Rocky and shook her head.


    "Choose its owner?" Rocky scratched his chin. He hadn''t expected that this jade was that hard to


    utilize.


    "But even if the one who finds it can''t use it, he can trade it for some other rare treasures. This jade is


    still invaluable, and spirit maniptors will be willing to get it at any cost. So, there is no need to worry


    about how we''ll handle it. But that also means these treasure hunters will definitely try their best to get


    the magic jade." Sabina rubbed her temples.


    "If I got my hands on the magic jade, I would make it choose me as its owner," Rocky said confidently.
