The next morning, as the bright light nted through the trees, the sound of beasts around could be
heard from time to time. As she opened her eyes, Sabina looked subconsciously towards the direction
where Rocky was sitting cross-legged and cultivating the previous night. However, now he was
nowhere to be found.
Immediately, Sabina got up and looked around. She found that Rocky''s two spirit-manipted beasts
had also disappeared.
"Where did they go?" With knitted eyebrows, Sabina thought for a while, and then she disappeared in a
sh.
Soon after, she was able to find out that Rocky was fighting against several two-star and three-star
giant Horned Lizards in a forest of phoenix trees not far away. Uriah and Rubygon were also present.
Rocky and his two spirit-manipted beasts were fighting in good coordination. Thus, even though the
Horned Lizards had numerical superiority, they could not defeat Rocky and his team and were hit down
on the ground one by one.
"How does he manage to manipte the two spirit-manipted beasts at the same time?" Sabina was
totally puzzled to see the two spirit-manipted beasts assisting Rocky during the fight, because it was
just abnormal. However, she knew that Rocky was the disciple of Sheridan, who was known as the
most powerful beast tamer of the Wild Spirit Land. But, it turned out that, even Sheridan was incapable
of doing that himself.
However, Rocky''s ability to manipte the two spirit-manipted beasts was not surprising news in the
Crimson Dragon Group. Most of them, including Sabina, had seen that in person, so even if it seemed
impossible, it was indeed a truth.
If Sabina had known that there was a Rainbow Glow Unicorn and a Ghostly Ice Fox-wolf hidden in
Rocky''s Magic Spiritual Space, she would have probably felt it to be unbelievable!
Sabina observed every movement of Rocky thoughtfully, not intending to help him. Since she had
witnessed the evil and terrible power hidden in Rocky, she became more and more curious about him.
Not to mention the fact that Rocky was somebody with a lot of incredible secrets. Some of these
included his secret identity, his rtionship with her master, his ability to control two spirit-manipted
beasts, his excellent medical skills and so on. An ordinary person would never be so outstanding with
so many hidden secrets.
To put it simple, Rocky wasn''t an ordinary person. Then, who on earth was he?
For many people, this was still a mystery!
As Sabina was lost in her thoughts, Rocky sessfully defeated the several Horned Lizards swiftly.
When he looked up, he saw Sabina standing by his side. He raised his eyebrows and asked, "When
did youe over here?"
"Just now," Sabina replied immediately in a cold voice after hearing Rocky''s words.
"Today I''m going to perform some experiments on the wild spirit-manipted beasts captured
yesterday and these Horned Lizards. It might take a day, or so. So, I hope you would help me guard

"Okay." To Rocky''s surprise, this time Sabina didn''t say anything to retort him or act contrary to him.
As he saw the sudden cooperation of Sabina, Rocky too felt a little confused. But then he opened the
Magic Spiritual Space and asked Uriah and Rubygon to help him in dragging the two Horned Lizards
into it.
"Thank you." Rocky thanked Sabina and then entered the Magic Spiritual Space.
After seeing Rocky entering his Magic Spiritual Space, Sabina summoned her favorite beast, Duchess
Silver, from her own Magic Spiritual Space. Then she and Duchess Silver guarded Rocky''s Magic
Spiritual Space. Since Duchess Silver reached the fourth grade of the four-star level, even the spirit-
manipted beasts at the third grade of the three-star level that were at the forest could not get close
there. Upon seeing everything was fine, she took out the bottle that contained ten drops of magical
saliva that Rocky had given her the previous night. Holding it in her hand, she took a few nces at it
with her eyes shing with a gleam. A momentter, she opened the bottle, took a drop and then
closed her eyes to cultivate.
At the same time, Rocky, who had entered the Magic Spiritual Space, looked at the ten or so wild spirit-
manipted beasts which were chosen by him. They were neatly arranged in front of him. He
immediately rubbed his palms, getting ready to perform the experiments. Those wild spirit-manipted
beasts were partly paralyzed because he had fed them on the Centipede-snake''s venom which had
been diluted with water.
As theb wasn''t fully functional yet, early in the morning, Rocky went to the Magic Spiritual Space to
clear up a ce and used a customized board as the operating table, as he prepared for the
experiment in advance. All kinds of surgical instruments and a few buckets of water were neatly ced
aside. Just before, he had walked into the streams and filled several buckets of water for his
experiments. When he intended to go back looking for Sabina, he happened to encounter several
Horned Lizards on his way.
The main purpose of his experiments on these wild spirit-manipted beasts was to discover the brain
lobe that controlled the nature and thoughts of the wild spirit-manipted beast. He was familiar with
the operations of some low-level spirit manipted beasts. But, ording to his knowledge, different
types of spirit-manipted beasts had different brain structures. Therefore, the brain lobe locations
varied in wild spirit-manipted beasts.
The brain of the spirit-manipted beast was very peculiar which waspletely different from the
human brain. The human brain was divided into two hemispheres, consisting of many sulci and gyri.
The brain hemispheres were also divided into frontal, temporal, parietal and ipital lobes, each
controlling different functions respectively. But the brains of different spirit-manipted beasts were in
different shapes which were different from each other.
As a result, only through experiments one could learn about which part of the brain lobes of different
spirit-manipted beasts controlled their nature and thoughts.
After paralyzing the brain of a wild spirit-manipted beast with the surgical tools, Rocky used
identification techniques to find that this wild spirit-manipted beast had two brains, one big and the
other small.
"It may be that the beast''s small brain might have appeared and grown up naturally. In this case, this
wild spirit-manipted beast should be in a stage of transformation, and it is going to reach the higher
star level. It is in a state of mutation, with the second brain growing," Rocky analyzed calmly. The three
heads and six arms of the spirit-manipted beast didn''t appear all of a sudden and had a process of
growing.
Then, Rocky''s attention was drawn towards the big brain of the beast. The brain was divided into three
parts, resembling a cake that had been cut into three parts. On the surface of the brain, there was a
spongiosum.
Beneath the transparent spongiosum were the uneven sulci and gyri. Apart from the brain''s shape
which was different from that of the human brain, the actual structure of the beast''s brain seemed to be
simr to the human brain''s structure. However, all the human brains had only four brain lobes. But, the
different spirit-manipted beasts'' brains might possess two brain lobes, four lobes, perhaps eight
brain lobes, or even more.
