Chapter 476 Saving Rocky
Rocky felt heaviness in his head the moment he regained consciousness. It was as if he had been in
deep sleep for a long time. He felt his lips were warm and wet, and something was wriggling on them.
His body felt stiff. Finally, the evil spiritual power in his body was calming down.
The moment he opened his eyes, a ray of light overwhelmed his vision. He blinked several times, his
vision slowly unveiling a beautiful face of a fairy who seemed to be standing in front of him.
The fairy''s eyes were closed, her long eyshes flicking lightly against the light. Her strands of red hair
hung on the tip of his high nose. And, to Rocky''s surprise, her small and soft lips were resting right on
top of his.
"Am I dreaming?" Rocky wanted to say. ''Am I dead?'' he thought. When he fully regained his vision,
Rocky was overwhelmed by the beauty of the woman. He couldn''t believe his eyes. All of it felt like a
dream.
Rocky recalled falling from a cliff previously. He must have fallen far from the others. Despite
everything feeling dreamy, Rocky also knew that things felt real.
The woman seemed to have felt Rocky stir. She raised her head and opened her eyes, revealing a
sh of sliver light that made her eyes look like ripples and made Rocky''s heart swoon.
Rocky regained hisposure and stood up in a hurry. He was in a dense forest and, in between
trees, he saw the cliff where he jumped off from.
"I''m not dead," Rocky realized. Rocky felt his flesh but was caught off-guard by the beautiful woman.
He noticed a pair of butterfly wings softly fluttering on her back making her look like a fairy. When his
eyes drew to her face, he immediately recognized her. "It''s you," Rocky asked.
She was the woman who saved him previously as well.
The woman stood up in front of Rocky who was slowly regaining full consciousness. She smiled with
her bright eyes and did a curtsy with her small body in front of him.
The air around the woman seemed to have frozen still. Her clothes, made of flowers and leaves, stood
still. Her skin was white and it glowed as if tempting people to touch it. She smelled like flowers during
spring.
After another quick nce at Rocky, the girl turned around, pped her wings open, and flew away.
"Hey," Rocky called out, but a bit toote. Rocky asked himself, "Did she save me?" "Why did she
leave then?" Rocky had the urge to follow after the girl.
Unfortunately, the girl was out of sight already.
She did the same thingst time. She left after saving him without a word.
However, this time, the evil spiritual power in his body seemed to have ceased. He fell from a cliff yet
he felt no hurt in his body. Inside him felt like a water tank covered by a lid. Even if there was a waterfall
from above, it would be difficult to attack it. He felt protected.
Rocky straightened his body and inspected the evil spiritual power within him. He found the evil
spiritual power released from the secondyer had not disappeared, but was only resting deep within
him protected by a strange light soul. He felt a strong spiritual energy emanate from him yet it was all
peaceful.
He was awestruck at this sense of light from inside him. He knew that the evil spiritual power in his
body would be unbearable when it woke up, even for a warrior at the third grade of the Heavenly
Stage. But at that moment, the evil spiritual power seemed to have been refined. Fire spiritual power
was flowing smoothly and being unaffected by evil spiritual powers, after all.
Rocky checked his body and noticed not a single injury on him. It was as if he did not fall off from a cliff.
He figured he had the butterfly woman to thank for it for the second time. He wondered if the butterfly
woman had been following him.

However, something about the actions of the butterfly girl puzzled him. While she did save him, she still
left him without a word. Much more, she left him abandoned in a ce with thousands of beasts,
unknown to anyone. It was as if she couldn''t care less if he died.
"She could have just told me to die and go to hell." Rocky''s mood dimmed as he found himself
abandoned. He jumped up and dusted himself off.
Upon looking around, he realized he was in the depths of a dense forest. Only a few flecks of light
scattered on the ground as they peeked through the leaves.
He looked up and figured he must have been at the bottom of the cliff. ''After the Four-wing Lame
Dragon kidnapped me, it must have flew me towards the southwest, '' Rocky thought. ''I wonder where it
is now.'' After a few moments of reflection, he then realized where he was.
''Uriah and the team must be looking for me, '' Rocky thought and wondered where they may be. Rocky
was worried that they wouldn''t think of going through the Myriad Beasts Ground to find him.
Luckily, Rocky and Uriah were aligned in spirit. They had a contract of spiritual power that allowed them
to sense each other''s location.
He looked around once more and, once he decided he was clear of danger, he moved forward in the
direction where he sensed Uriah to be.
Rocky braced himself for an encounter with a spirit-manipted beast. However, he did not encounter
any despite the fact that he had been walking around for half a day. He did not even meet a four-star
animal, nor a two-star one. He sped up until he found himself in a wide in area, away from the
forest.
He walked until after sunset and until he found a slope to build fire on. His n was to settle in for the
night and resume journey tomorrow, in fear of encountering wild spirit-manipted beasts that lurked at
night.
After Rocky had set up the fire, he noticed bright lights flickering through the distant. From where he
stood, it looked like fireflies.
Rocky tried not to pay mind to it and sat down cross legged to begin the cultivation of the third stage of
Demonic Fire Skill. After which, he felt something strange inside him. The evil spiritual power that had
long calmed slowly flowed out of his body. The evil spiritual power danced with the Fire spiritual power
<ppletely unaffected by each other''s presence. Rocky was convinced that it was all very strange.
