Chapter 3016 Another Great Progress
Austin left the library and found the two old men garbed in white clothes.
He asked them for ess to a secret room so he could cultivate in seclusion.
His request was granted, and before going into the room, he bestowed upon the two men some
precious materials and advanced medicinal elixirs.
The men were overwhelmed by his generosity, and gave him their profuse gratitude, mentioning more
than once how Austin was their savior.
They have been gaining a lot from the materials and elixirs that Austin had been handing out in the
past few days.
Not only did it stabilize their previously erratic foundation of their vital energy, but also stabilized the
quality of their vital energy itself.
At the back of their minds, they were anticipating toe to a breakthrough soon.
Upon learning that Austin was to cultivate in seclusion, they promptly sent arge group of people to
tighten the defenses around his chamber.
They set up their protocols and ced the room under alert level one, and no one was allowed to even
approach it.
Now they were totally treating Austin as one of their own.
This being the case, they made sure that hispanions were also looked after, and provided them
with luxurious pces to recuperate in.
Meanwhile, alone in his secret room, Austin was sitting cross-legged on the cold, hard floor.
He proceeded to his journey toprehending the General Scripture of Chaos.
All over the three thousand big and small worlds, every existing world and cosmos had their own
naturalws and order of things.
As the saying went, there were three thousand differentws and order, and each set of system had its
own merit.
Most cultivators usually start with understanding the principles that bound their own cosmos before
trying to master those of other worlds.
As such, thews that Austin had cultivated in the past were naturally the ones of the Fallen Immortal
Cosmos.
To his dismay, he discovered that once he was on a different universe, his cultivation ofw power from
the Fallen Immortal Cosmos was unable to y its corresponding power.
This was because differentws repelled each other.
The exception to this restriction was the masters of the Divine Realm.
They were able to break away from the limits of a single universe, and traveled across multiple
universes to learn to cultivate the varyingws.
That was what made thew and order cultivation base of the Divine Realm masters unfathomable.
By those rights, this also made these cultivators difficult to approach.
Austin concentrated on the task at hand.
The General Scripture of chaos held a detailed description of thews of each universe existing in the
three thousand big and small worlds.
Furthermore, it exined the history of thesews, how they came to be, and why.
It all pointed back to the most original energy essence of the ultimate naturalws.
So when a cultivator began to understand the General Scripture of Chaos, he was naturally affording
himself the knowledge of the naturalws of the three thousand big and small worlds at the same time.
And since Austin was rather talented in terms ofprehendingws, he sat in that secluded room like
a duck taking to water, so to speak.
His power rose at an astonishing speed. Days passed unnoticed, immersed as he was in his
cultivation.
Everything else that existed beyond his room fell away from his consciousness.
Meanwhile, having grown impatient of sitting waiting in their own rooms, Violet, the Heavenly Majestic
Pot and the others set out to kill some time.
They decided to go sightseeing.
They wandered about and enjoyed the natural beauty Megrez had to offer.
They experienced the local conditions and customs.
All in all, they had themselves a good time.
When they were done with their tour on the Megrez, they continued on and explored the six other stars
of the Big Dipper.
Their little expedition took them about a couple of months, and then they were back to stewing in

boredom.
With no other options disposable to them, they each looked for a secret room and went to cultivate in
seclusion, as Austin did.
Well, as they all did, really, whenever Austin locked himself up to learn something new.
It wasn''t just his friends, though.
Shortly after Austin started his cultivation, the two old men in white also secluded themselves,
preparing the iing breakthrough.
Before locking their doors, they gave strict orders to their men to take good care of Violet and the rest
of the gang in their absence.
This was why Violet and the others were able to travel the past months with ease, what with arge
group of god''s emissaries waiting on them hand and foot.
About five monthster, the old men emerged from their chambers, having sessfully achieved a
breakthrough.
They were now at the medium stage of Genuine Immortal Realm.
Likewise, in Austin''s chamber, things were going swimmingly.
Three months after he locked himself up to cultivate, a white cocoon came into being.
It shone brightly, and had a powerful energy shrouding it.
It continued to growrger, and shine brighter, until reaching what seemed to be its maturity.
Then one day, it exploded with a loud bang that resounded even through the halls outside.
"This is the ninth time I''m forming and smashing this cocoon!" It was Austin, and his exmation was
Illusory Divine Ruling Chains floated in the chamber like shining dragons, making cracking sounds as
they went. Austin''sw power had made another qualitative leap.
"It is splendid," Austin murmured to himself. "But I''m afraid this kind ofw power would not be enough
to pry into the advancedws arranged by the ancient divine gods around Earth. I need to get to the
ultimate realm. I probably have better chances if I tried there."
Austin once again assumed his sitting position, and dove back into his cultivation, seeking to
understand deeper.
Time, once again, flew by unnoticed.
Without knowing it, Austin had been in seclusion for two years.
It did not matter much, since within his chamber he managed to make progress one after another.
Once again, a huge white cocoon upied the center of the room.
It pulsed with a powerful beat, almost bouncing up and down with the immense energy that vibrated
through it.
It was somehow like a giant, beating heart.
A significantly more terrifyingw power was thrumming through the air inside the chamber, until it
became a hurricane that grew more violent at every moment.
It spun around the room, and soon bright Divine Ruling Chains appeared, glittering and ttering
madly.
This chaos persisted for days, until the cocoon once again exploded with a bang.
Austin sprang from it with the grace of a swimming dragon.
"Finally!" he rejoiced. "I have finally gone through the entire General Scripture of Chaos!"
It was quite an achievement, indeed, and Austin had every right to be thrilled.
Normally, cultivators needed to undergo the cocooning phase eighty-one times before reaching the
ultimate realm.
It was a painstakingly long and rigorous process.
In old beliefs, nine times nine made eighty-one, which also happened to be thergest number in the
multiplication table of nine, which made it the ultimate state of any matter.
In the past two years, Austin''sw power had reached new heights through his cultivation alone.
He was pretty confident that hisw power could now easily defeat any heaven immortals. He was, as
he had eximed, finally done with his cultivation. He exited his secret chamber.
"Master, you''ve finallye out!" He was promptly greeted by Violet once he was outside. "You have
been in seclusion for two whole years!" She was visibly overjoyed upon seeing him, as she had rushed
out of her own room once she sensed that he was out and about.
At that same instant, the Heavenly Majestic Pot popped out of its room as well, having abruptly stopped
its own cultivation to greet Austin. "Hey, how are things?"
"Not bad," Austin replied with a smile. "Not bad at all."
Soon, the rest of theirrades came out of their own chambers to join them.
"Greetings, Mr. Lin!" This time it was the two old men in white robes, who also hurried over when they
heard Austin had emerged from his seclusion. "It appears that you have mastered many achievements
in the past couple of years. Congrattions!"
Having made a breakthrough themselves, their joy at seeing Austin was greater than most, and it
showed in the wide grins they were wearing in their wrinkled faces.
"Thank you for all your help." Austin gave them a tiny bow.
"But I believe that you two have made quite remarkable aplishments yourselves.
Congrattions for your breakthrough, both of you!"
"You are most gracious to say so! It was all thanks to the treasures you gave us, otherwise things
wouldn''t have been so easy for us.
We probably wouldn''t have been able to manage any breakthrough for the rest of our lives!"
Suddenly, there was a mor at the end of the hall, and someone was running frantically towards
them.
"Masters! The army of Crape Myrtle Cluster has robbed us of arge amount of cultivation materials
again!"
The man was panting heavily as he reported. "We lost dozens of god''s emissaries in the scuffle that
ensued to retrieve it!
Please uphold justice and revenge for our fallen men, my masters!"
The old men were shaking with anger at what they heard. "They''ve done it again. Those bastards really
know no shame!"
They turned to Austin and the rest of their guests. "Mr. Lin, please excuse us for now. Go ahead and
take some rest. We need to deal with this emergency as soon as possible."
Before Austin could reply, the old men had already rushed out in a visible hurry.
Only momentster, however, with Austin and his men still milling about in the hall, a servant stormed
in again.
"Mr. Lin!" The servant was running and crying, and he fell on his knees in front of Austin.
"Mr. Lin, please help us! Our senior emissaries were badly injured!
I was secretly ordered back to ask for your aid! Please help us!"
The servant touched his head to the ground, and waited for Austin''s reply.
