Chapter 2626 Dead Soldiers
Austin was shocked at the scene that he saw—groups of dead soldiers everywhere. They all held a
rusty trident or a broken spear. There were more than ten thousand of these dead soldiers.
Austin used his spiritual sense to check the soldiers as discreetly as he could. He found out that they
weren''t breathing.
These soldiers were different from the members of the death race.
The death race existed because some people refused to leave their body after death and chose to
infuse a copy of their soul into their corpse and live like that. It was a new species.
These particr soldiers were something different—they were just corpses. However, a mysterious
force seemed to be manipting them.
''Wait! Dead soldiers? I got a really bad feeling...''
Austin thought to himself in shock.
The soldiers marched in unison, shaking the earth and the sky. No one knew where they came from or
where they were going.
Soon, the soldiers had disappeared into the distance.
Austin stood still, staring at the direction where the soldiers were headed for.
He didn''t follow them since he figured they were probably dangerous.
He didn''t know how to deal with these mysterious dead soldiers so he didn''t bother anymore.
''Wait.
Is it possible that they have something to do with the corpse disaster that happened eras ago?''
The thought urred to Austin.
The corpse disaster once left the entire universe in a panic.
The dead were resurrected. They took the world by storm—doing all sorts of evil things. This was
called the corpse disaster.
These corpse-like soldiers reminded Austin of the corpse disaster.
''If these dead soldiers are a part of the corpse disaster, it means that I''m back in the universe where
the Immortal End World is, ''
Austin thought with much joy, as he looked in the direction the dead soldiers went.
Right then, another group that consisted of around ten thousand dead soldiers walked out of ck
mist.
They marched forward in orderly steps. A momentter, like the previous soldiers, they disappeared
into the distance.
As soon as the dead soldiers left, another team of over ten thousand dead soldiers came out of the
ck mist once again.
''No way! That''s too many!''
Austin was shocked.
For the rest of the day, the same thing happened—groups of dead soldiers marching towards the same
direction.
''You''ve got to be kidding me! There has to be at least hundreds of thousands of these dead soldiers.''
Austin grew scared at the thought of this.
''Where are these dead soldiers going?
Are they going to destroy some world?'' Several questions coursed through his mind.
Austin decided to stay for another half day until thest of the dead soldiersing out of the ck
mist had disappeared.
''There are so many dead soldiers in this area. Is this their stronghold?'' Austin wondered, looking at the
area wrapped in the ck mist.
Letting his curiosity get the best of him, Austin used his spiritual sense to scan the area covered by the
ck mist in an attempt to figure out what was going on in there.
However, there seemed to be a mysteriousw in the area that prevented Austin from seeing what was
going on inside there using his spiritual sense.
This made Austin more curious. He activated his bodily movement skill and dashed towards the ck
mist.
The corpse disaster was one of the biggest and most mysterious unsolved cases in the universe.
It was said that corpses haunted lots of worlds in this universe eras ago.
In the past, the corpse disaster would happen again from time to time, ughtering numerous
creatures in this universe.
Up until now, no one in the universe figured out how the corpse disaster happened.
How the dead coulde back to life and why they would kill innocent creatures was still a puzzle to
everyone up until this day.
Still, living beings studied the corpse disasters, trying to figure out the truth.
Austin was the same—he wanted to figure out the mystery behind the corpse disaster. He figured he
needed to get to the bottom of this since he saw all those dead soldiers.
Austin was confident in his strength and power. He''d fought sect-ancestor-level enemies so he figured
whatever this was, he would be able to handle it.
When he entered the ck mist, he realized that light wasn''t prable in here. It was pure darkness
and ck mist.
ck mist there was formed by dense corpse miasma and the aura of death. Austin couldn''t shake off
the ominous feeling he was having towards it.
Austin hid himself in the dark fog using the Aura Disguising Skill.
With his current cultivation base, he had already achieved the full potential of the Aura Disguising Skill.
He could integrate with his surroundings in any situation whenever he performed this skill.
All of a sudden, Austin realized something.
He raised his head and looked at the center of the ck fog area.

He saw a huge space crack in the void. Endless death aura and corpse miasma gushed out of it.
''So the crack is the source of the aura of the dead and corpse miasma, '' Austin spected.
He looked through the crack only to find nothing but darkness. It was safe to assume that it would lead
to an unknown ce.
Austin unleashed his spiritual sense to try and explore the space crack but he came up with nothing.
However, since he had strong spatial power, he felt that this crack was connected to a distant,
mysterious space.
"It seems to be arge spatial teleportation passage.
I guess those dead soldiers came here through this crack,"
Austin murmured.
Just then, footsteps came from the huge, deep crack.
''Are the dead soldiersing again?''
Austin was astonished.
He was right. After a while, a horde wasing out of the deep crack, marching in stiff and orderly
steps.
Through the rolling corpse miasma, he saw another group of dead soldiers. There were more than ten
thousand of them.
After a short moment, the troops emerged from the crack and left the area covered by the ck mist.
''This is strange. Looks like they''re corpses.
Why did theye all the way here to gue this universe?'' Austin wondered.
Since he was very close to the dead soldiers, he figured he should take this opportunity to examine
them.
Suddenly, a bold idea came to Austin''s mind as he looked at thest dead soldier at the back of the
group.
''Perhaps I can catch one of them to study it?''
Austin was a bold man. Without any hesitation, he quietly moved towards the dead soldiers who were
at the back of the group.
Austin then sped up to catch up with the group of dead soldiers.
He rushed forward and stretched his hand in an attempt to grab the three dead soldiers at the back of
the team.
"I can smell a living being!"
A voice suddenly rang through the air right before Austin was about to grab a dead soldier.
Immediately, all the dead soldiers turned around and stared at Austin nkly.
