Chapter 2592 The Pass Is No Longer Valid
Austin, along with the other three, began to move rapidly. They had to move quietly and quickly while
they were in the shadow zone.
Their movement was so fast that a momentter they were already far away from the gate.
"Well! Looks like we have got rid of the pursuing forces. We managed to escape but I fear it''s just for
now,"
Austin stopped and said as he heaved a sigh of relief.

There were a number of waves that were formed by numerous shadows. They were all swaying in the
void continuously.

prevalent and kept spreading silently.
"Fortunately, you have been able to get so many passes.
Otherwise, we would have been in extreme danger while crossing the shadow zone,"
said Waller thankfully.
"But what shall we do now?
The gate has been closed while our rivals are pursuing our group. There are so many people after us
who are trying to kill us.
I''m afraid it''s going to be really difficult to enter the Evil Shadow World,"
Caroline said. She was quite worried.
"Well, I''ve practiced a kind of ancient secret method. I can use it tomunicate with people inside a
world through the space barrier from the outside.

said Waller.
"Sure! Don''t worry about anything. I will protect you!"
Austin nodded as he agreed to take up the responsibility.
Waller quickly took out a few array gs. He threw them into the surrounding air swiftly.
As soon as he did that, streaks of gray light appeared in the void. The rays of light started forming a
small hiding array. The array started whirling around his body and shrouded himpletely.
On seeing it, everyone came to know why he needed a very quiet environment. It was essential so that
he wouldn''t be disturbed while he set a small array to iste himself from the rest of them.
"Hmm. Let''s wait here,"
Austin said to Caroline and Priest Callum who watched Waller get covered by the array.
They looked around for a spot for themselves. They found a ce nearby, where they sat down cross
legged and began to rest.
The rest of them sat resting. On the other hand, Austin was staying awake and alert. He was keeping
an eye on everything around him, and was on guard against anything that might happen.
Everything started smoothly in the beginning. He hoped it would remain so.
But just a momentter, the serenity of the ce was disturbed.
Suddenly, they heard sounds.
Bang! Bang! The loud sound echoed in the air.
Far away, arge tide was being formed by countless small shadows. It was rolling towards the spot
where Austin and the others were positioned. It was advancing with great momentum.
"It''s a shadow tide!"
Austin''s heart skipped a beat when the realization struck him.
Not very long ago, Austin had seen these shadow tides.
At that time Waller had a pass in his hand so they had been able to go past with rtive ease. Keeping
that in mind, Austin did not panic now.
Austin turned his palm over and quickly took out a pass.
"What? What''s this?"
Austin was a bit surprised.
The pass which was in his hand did not have any effect at all.
Austin remembered well thatst time when they had encountered the shadow tide, Waller had taken
out the pass. The pass was a token that would immediately cause many gray lights to be emitted.
These would form a round protective cone.
However, at present, the pass in Austin''s hand had no reaction at all. Nothing happened when he
brought it out.

Not far away from him, the overwhelming shadow tide was rolling over as it kept advancing. The
terrible momentum with which it was moving was terrifying. It made even a master like Austin feel

out and floated around Austin.

It was baffling for Austin that those passes had lost the ability to provide protection.
''Didn''t he say that with these passes, we could walk freely in this shadow zone?''
Austin''s mind raced with the words which were used to describe those passes.
"How can this happen? This can''t be true.
These passes seem to have be useless here!"
Caroline and Priest Callum were also so surprised. They were confused. They couldn''t help but
eximed in shock.
Boom!
The shadow tide finally approached them and seemed like it had swept over all of them.
The spiritual souls of Austin, Caroline and Priest Callum were able to sense that they had been
enveloped by endless and terrible spiritual soul energy.
It possessed tremendous force. It seemed to be impossible to resist it with human strength.
"I can''t stand this any longer!"
Caroline started to turn pale and her body was trembling. She copsed beside Austin who tried to hold
her upright in his arms.
"I cannot take it anymore! It feels like I''m going crazy!"
Priest Callum also roared loudly. His eyes turned red, and he breathed heavily as if in great pain.
Looking at the effect on the others, even Austin became scared.
"How can this be happening?"
At the same time, even Waller found that something was off. He rushed out of the array and looked at
theing tide. He was filled with fear.
"Holy crap! What is this?
I think I might have missed something.
These passes need to be infused with one''s aura of the spiritual soul when being forged.
Perhaps, only the corresponding aura of the spiritual soul can activate these passes!"
Waller said in a state of shock.

It drew closer and closer to Austin.
With the shadow tide approaching closer, a sound was heard between the heaven and earth. It was a
heart wrenching whine, like the hound howling in the dark!
A creature, with ordinary strength and undecided will, could instantly copse on hearing that blood-
curdling voice!
The shadow tide was terrifying. When it came closer to Austin, countless pieces of spiritual soul energy
began to intertwine. It formed an energy field of all those bits of spiritual soul.
The spiritual soul energy field was terribly powerful. It could not onlyunch terrible physical attacks,
but could also attack one''s spiritual soul.
It was a deadly threat for cultivators. Once cultivators were swept in, numerous spiritual soul energy
would rush into their Soul Sea and tear their souls up.
Even if they were masters, like the grand leader of the evil creatures or the grand chieftain of the
