Chapter 2132 The Dangerous Mountain
Not long after, a ck mountain appeared in front of them. It flowed with the aura of the ancienther
world, majestic and towering, injecting anxiety to people due to its domineering and robust presence.
"The Reincarnate Lotus is right in this mountain,"
the monk, who stood still in front of the mountain, informed Austin.
"But I can feel that there are many powerful creatures in this mountain.
It will certainly not be easy to get it."
The monk''s gaze was fixed on the mountain, looking very stern and serious.
Both Austin and Brady were shocked upon hearing that.
The monk''s strength was unfathomable. Yet, even a man of his caliber would have said like that.
Judging from how cautious he was, it was not hard to imagine how many horrible creatures lurking in
this mountain.
"I don''t care what kind of ce it is. Now that we''re here, let''s get inside and try our luck," the monk
continued.
Then, he took the lead and strode up to the mountain.
Without hesitation, Austin and Brady hurried to keep up with him.
The three walked along a winding trail, ascending atop the mountain with increasing speed.
Along the way, they all felt a weird aura.
There seemed to be many terrifying creatures lurking in the shadows and spying on them.
Boom!
Not long after the three climbed the mountain, they all felt that a wave of strong power dropping from
heaven was pressing against them.
For a moment, Austin''s and Brady''s movements were restricted as if they were temporarily paralyzed.
It felt like a very massive weight was ced on them as they took every step.
"Humph!"
With a loud snort, the monk waved his sleeve and drew the two to his side.
The terrible pressure exerted on the two disappeared immediately, leaving no trace behind. After a
while ofposing themselves, they continued climbing.
Many ck rocks along their path were visibly stained with age signs. asionally, one or two spiritual
herbs, quite of old age too, were spotted growing between the crevices of those rocks.
However, Austin and Brady were not in the mood to appreciate those high-grade superior herbs. They
dared not pick them at will even if they were all over the ground.
Somehow, they felt that the mountain was enveloped by a bizarre and eerie aura that seemed to bring
danger.
Soon enough, after keeping the looming nervousness to themselves, they reached half of the mountain
trail.
"There is a bottomless cliff in front of us!"
Austin suddenly eximed in a low voice.
The cliff looked like a boundless abyss, pitch-ck with the obscure bottom.
"It seems like there is a pair of eyes looking at us!"
Austin suddenly eximed, pointing downward as two rays of light shed in the darkest depths.
The monk, who was walking in front of them, suddenly stretched out his big hand and scratched down
the abyss through the endless void. Withdrawing his hand, he threw something on the ground with a
loud sound.
Both Austin and Brady stared at the thing on the ground.
It was a silvery scale, as big as a palm. It was glittering, while a silver holy me was dancing on it. The
me fluctuated and emanated a frightening ze.
As if it was not daunting enough, the scales itself, too, emitted a terrifying andpelling aura.
The whole scene sent shivers down Austin''s spine, even making him take a few steps back.
The aura emanated was like a peerless sword radiance pressed against a warrior''s throat. This image
would make anyone who saw it shiver and involuntarily retreat.
"This is so horrible,"
Austin mumbled, obviously shocked.
''What a powerful creature!
Fortunately, it was just testing us. Who knows what would happen if it attacks us?''
the monk said to himself with a deep frown.
"Haha!"
Belonging ? N?velDram/a.Org.
Evil and coldughter came from the bottom of the cliff, and the pair of eyes they had seen before had
disappeared.
"Let''s go. Be careful with your every step and follow me closely.
This is a perilous ce,"
the monk advised earnestly.
Then, the three of them continued climbing.
Along their journey, roars could be heard from different parts of the ck mountains, and bizarre ck
wind st past them several times.
Boom!
A violent ck wind, sounding like ring st, blew abruptly, pulled up many huge ancient trees
which had lived for thousands of years and swept them to the sky.
"It''s the strange ck wind again!"
Austin was shocked.
He and Brady had already encountered such a ck cyclone in the periphery of the Land of Life-and-
death.
However, the one right here seemed to be more terrifying and devastating.
"Be careful! It''sing towards us again!"
Brady reminded Austin.
The strange ck wind made their hair stand on end. It rolled up giant rocks and caused the mountains
to tremble like an earthquake, whirring not far away from the trio.
Austin immediately shivered as he gazed at the cyclone. In the whirling wind, he saw a pair of cold and
vicious eyes intently staring at them.
"Pfff!"
Apparently, the monk had noticed it too. He waved his hand, and two rays of sharp ck light were
shot forward, shattering into the void and instantly shing into the ck cyclone.
Ah!
A scream red not far from them.
The strange ck wind vanished, and the eyes were quickly extinguished too.
In the sky, a strand of ck long hair fluttered down, but there was nothing else left.
"What?"
Both Austin and Brady gasped in astonishment.
It was no wonder that warriors of the Divine Continent considered entering the Land of Life-and-death
as a death wish. Thend was practically an area filled with dangerous and fatal threats.
"Bang!"
Just as Austin and Brady were sighing in their mind, a tremendous heat wave dropped from the sky
and covered the space around them.
Austin suddenly felt his body temperature drastically rose as if he had jumped into a burning furnace,
almost burning him to ashes.
He hurriedly released his vital energy force to resist the horrifying high temperature.
He cultivated the Golden Sun Scripture. Thus, the light golden vital energy he released was very
effective to resist the scorching heat.
The mysterious heat wasing from a cave ahead of them. zing mes, too difficult for a human
to bear, intensely gushed out of it.
''What the hell is inside that cave? Why is it releasing such terrifying heat waves?''
Austin could not help but feel frightened as he spected in his mind.
Caw! Caw...
Suddenly, harsh screams were heard, and countless ck crows flew out of the cave.
Surprisingly, every ck crow had a ghastly pale human face.
"What kind of crows are they?"
Austin blurted out, his face changing drastically as he stared at those eerie crows.
Caw! Caw! Caw!
ck human-faced crows surrounded with glowing ck light and aze with fire rushed out of the
cave one after another.
In just a few seconds, they filled the sky above, creating a sea of fire that burned in the distance.
"Oh my god! That''s a lot of crows!"
Both Austin and Brady were petrified as they gazed at those birds.
Without any warning, suddenly those crows all swooped at the trio at a frightening speed.
