Chapter 2125 Encountering A Giant Heart
There were too many skeletons around. If he wanted to so much as take a single step around this
ce, he would have to step on them, or staypletely still. There was no third option.
But it wasn''t all that bad; various kinds of magic treasures and weapons were also scattered
everywhere on the ground. No, wait, they were worthless now!
Too much time had gone by since the weapons had been taken care of. Now, they had lost their
spiritual energy and rusted. They were just worthless metal scraps and when he tried to pick one up, it
turned into powder at his touch.
"This looks like an ancient battlefield!"
Brady, as ancient a man as he was, was still shocked by this horrific scene.
So many creatures had died here that the skeletons were scattered all over the ground. After so many
years, the resentment of the dead still didn''t dissipate, turning into terrible evil energy and flooding over
this area.
Thump, thump...
Just as Austin and Brady were gazing at the ancient battlefield around them in shock, a huge bang
rang out from the very depths of the pce, making their hearts skip several beats at once.
"Is someone still alive in here?"
Both Austin and Brady were shocked.
Thump... Thump...
Yet, the same sound echoed again, like a drum was beating hard far away from them. The strangest
thing was that the sound was incredibly dull, and somehow made their blood elerate every time. It
emanated a sort of pressure that could, somehow, put pressure right on your blood vessels.
"I have a strange feeling that it sounds like the heartbeat of a powerful creature. Am I delusional or
what?"
Austin remarked with surprise and doubt in his voice.
''If it really is the heartbeat of some creature, then it must be scary and humongous in size!'' he thought
Driven by curiosity, Austin and Brady began searching for the ce where the sound seemed to be
After searching for an hour, they seemed to be getting close as the sound was much clearer now.
Austin released all of his physical strength to protect his heart.
And Brady also released some sort of secret technique to seal off his body from external interference.
Even so, each time the two heard the thumping sound, their hearts still beat wildly in response.
Whatever this thing was, it was remarkable.
A momentter, they stopped dead in their tracks, shocked by the scene in front of them.
A five-colored sacrificial altar was floating in the air ahead of them, as if suspended by magic.
On the altar were nine tall stone pirs. Each of these pirs had metallic chains thicker than a bucket
wrapped around it, with each of themrger than an average cupboard.
These chains extended all the way to the center of the altar and had been used to lock up a pitch-ck
It was easily asrge as a house, and much scarier and gruesome than a ghost.
A tremendous amount of thick evil energy was lingering around it.
A giant heart trapped by nine huge chains! Now they had really seen all!
Both Austin and Brady were shocked by this scene and became speechless.
As if that weren''t enough, the altar was piled with thousands of skeletons, the pile of which had turned
into a mountain. The bones were of humans, beasts, demon races, birds, and whatnot!
Thump, thump, thump...
Somehow, even after being separated from its body, the heart was still alive and constantly beating.
"Ho, ho...
This is a sight for ages! Two little creatures broke in here. Interesting! Very interesting! Ho, ho..."
Just as Austin and Brady were trying to recover from their astonishment and disbelief, they suddenly
heard a burst of weirdughter emanating from the pitch-ck heart.
''This heart is alive indeed!''
Austin and Brady exchanged nces and saw the shock in each other''s eyes.
Luckily, it seemed like the heart waspletely locked up by the nine red chains around it and couldn''t
leave the altar, so the two didn''t turn around and run away.
"You two little guys,e up to the altar at once!"
The voice sounded again.
At the same time, a fierce wind, as malicious as a sharp, invisible de, and as dangerous as the heart
in front of them, suddenly blew towards the duo.
Under Austin''smand, his demonic avatar rushed out and stood in front of him, releasing a
monstrous aura to block the wind.
"What?
You human brat, how did youe to possess so much evil energy? Who are you?
Answer me right now, or I will kill you!"
The voice from the heart suddenly turned harsh, with endless killing intention in the very tone of
speech.
"Humph! If you wanted to kill us, you would have done it already.
But you ugly dirty heart, are confined to the altar, and can''t leave it at all. So, you are just bluffing!"
Austin answered grumpily.
"Shut up!
You little ants! How dare you behave so rudely in front of me!
I can very easily kill thousands of opponents like you!"
The huge pitch-ck heart became furious. Its voice had now turned into a furious roar.
"You know what? I''ll kill you two right now! You''ll be a lesson for the ages!"
The sound of the heart suddenly became cold and murderous.
The next moment, an abrupt whooshing sound rang out.
Pitch-ck knives suddenly appeared in the air above the altar.
Each of them was exuding powerful spiritual sense pressure.
They somehow seemed to be made up of spiritual sense energy.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...
The knives tore through space and came at Austin and Brady in a sh.
"Careful, master! The energy in the knives is too terrible!"
Brady warned Austin.
However, thetter was calm. Inside his Soul Sea, a rustling sound was heard. Then the leaves of the
spiritual tree in his Soul Sea began to fall from the branch, appearing in front of him somehow. They
hovered like a shield and began cutting off the knives'' path.
Bang! Bang! Bang...
One by one, there were several violent collisions.

At the same, the leaves were also beginning to refine the spiritual energy contained in the knives.
"The spiritual tree!
Oh my God! You are only a human being and have somehownded yourself a spiritual tree! Very well
done indeed.
Seems like god is helping me today! I''ll make a deal with you!
Send that spiritual tree up here immediately and I will spare your life!"
the heart roared with great joy.
"Hah! You wish! You can pretend all you like, but if you could kill me, why would you utter so much
nonsense beforehand?
You would have taken the tree away immediately! Since you didn''t, it means you can''t.
Why should I send it to you?"
Austin sneered.
All at once, the heart became silent.
Actually, what Austin said was true.
Although it screamed rather ferociously, and could extend a lot of pressure, it could not leave the altar
since it was sealed to the ce.
Frankly, it knew of no way it could kill Austin.
"Alright, boy, if you give me that spiritual tree, I''ll help you make a fortune.
I hid all of my plunder and treasures under the altar.
I can give you anything you want."
The heart tried to strike a bargain with Austin.
"Haha, you are so naive. The spiritual tree is invaluable. If you want some money in exchange for my
spiritual tree, you are just daydreaming!"
Austin sneered.
