Chapter 1991 The Evil Wind And The Evil Mist

Chapter 1991 The Evil Wind And The Evil Mist

An interesting aspect of the ground was that it waspletely charred and had gone ck.

And the ck was more a shade of dried blood than ash. Perhaps a battle had taken ce a long while

    ago here...

Austin rubbed the ground with his feet and saw that ayer of some charred substance came off and

stuck to his shoe. Immediately, the smell of blood reached his nostrils.

"Is it possible that the ground of the Evil Valley has gone ck due to dried blood?"

Austin''s face turned pale at such a horrifying prospect.

    Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...

Before he had time to dwell on this fearsome idea, gusts of ck wind suddenly began to blow. Even

though Austin was standing far away from the source of this wind, he felt the chill it emanated and

immediately got alert. Something was going on!

"Be careful. There are evil winds in here which seem quite weird. They can even kill a warrior at the

    Heavenly Grotto Realm.

I mean this ghost wind is extremely rare, and it flows once or twice in decades. Damn it!

Why did we have to run into one today? It''s just bad luck!"

the me Emperor cursed from inside Austin''s Soul Sea.

    "Ghost winds?"

Austin murmured, gazing deep into the valley, only to see ck colored whirlwinds roaring and flushing

    towards him.

The power and danger was visible. Wherever this wind passed, stones turned into dust immediately.

Even the ground and the mountains on either sides of the valley did not remain intact. They were

    crushed very fast.

With his spiritual sense, Austin checked the source and was surprised to see that these ck

whirlwinds seemed to being from a void high in the sky. It was hard to imagine how such a thing

    could happen.

The ck whirlwind passed over a tree that had died several years ago, and instantly sliced it into

    pieces.

Several crows shrieked in the distance, rushing away from this oing storm.

They had taken refuge on the withered tree. But as soon as the whirlwind drew near, they had tried to

escape but failed. They were also turned into dust.

Austin took out the Pot of Chaos from his Space Ring and rushed inside it.

It was just in time though, since as soon as he got inside, the whirlwinds hit the pot.

Metallic thongs began to reach his eardrums as the waves collided on the pot.

"I get it now. These evil winds have been formed by gathering strong evil auras together. No wonder

    they''re so powerful,"

Austin muttered as he checked the ck whirlwind outside the pot with his spiritual sense.

After a while, the evil winds finally passed by the pot, which remained unharmed.

After waiting for a few more minutes, Austin was brave enough toe out of the pot. He was relieved

to see that the storm had passed and continued to move forward.

A few momentster, he finally entered deep inside the valley. The ground beneath him was covered

with white bones. From the looks of them, the skeletons belonged to human beings as well as other

    kinds of creatures.

"Why is there such a strong murderous intent in the air of this ce?

I feel like this was a battlefield where countless people died miserably. There are so many bones lying

here; of all kinds of creatures..."

Austin sighed softly. Each of his steps falling on a thickyer of white, dry bones, he could not help

wincing with the oing incessant cracks. At the same time, he also was extremely cautious.

    Anything could happen!

"The bonend! Shit! First the evil wind, and now the bonend. This really is rotten luck!"

the me Emperor cursed in a trembling voice.

    "The bonend!"

Austin was stunned by its very name.

"Yes. And it''s a bad sign.

The Evil Valley is a cursed and forsakennd. None dare enter this ce if they can help it.

Sometimes, things look peaceful from the outside. Some people even manage to get in and out without

    facing any danger.

But as soon as the ghost wind blows, an evil mist appears, and the bonend is revealed. Rumor has it

that more bad things also happen.

So basically, it''s all about luck.

If one is lucky, this ce is just like an ordinary valley, and no harm will befall him.

But this ce can also take one''s life if luck is not his side.

I guess we''re not the lucky ones.

Since we''ve just encountered the evil wind, so do be careful, boy.

If you think you won''t be able to deal with them, you should leave at once. We''ll give it another go some

    other time,"

the me Emperor said. His voice was trembling.

"We''ll wait and see. It looks alright for the moment,"

    Austin said.

He had practiced the infernal swordsmanship of the Infernal Sect, so had be very sensitive when

it came to murderous wills and killing intents.

He had sensed that there seemed to be an extremely strong killing intent around here, but he didn''t

want to leave just because of that.

    "The evil mist!"

After walking for a short distance, he stopped. Some sort of mist had appeared in front of him all of a

    sudden.

The whole valley now seemed dull. Some of the ces had gone dark, though some were colorful

enough. What remained waspletely shrouded in mist, making it impossible to see through.

The mist was drifting in the valley and was so thick that Austin couldn''t see a few inches clearly in front

    of him.

    "It''s really the evil mist!"

the me Emperor cried out as he too perceived the situation ahead of them with his spiritual sense.

"Boy, it looks like we are really out of luck this time.

How about we withdraw? We cane backter..."

    the me Emperor suggested.

"I am not a fan of quitting. Now that we''re here, let''s see what''s going on first,"

    Austin denied.

    "Who is there?"

    N?vel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

All of a sudden, he felt that a person was standing quietly in the mist not far away from him. He seemed

to be looking right at him.

Austin''s hair stood on its end. Instead of venturing, he used his spiritual sense to see up ahead.

He could clearly see the figure, owing to the strength of his senses.

It was a human shaped creature and looked very old. He seemed to be wearing a Taoist robe and his

long white hair was touching the ground, as if it hadn''t been trimmed for decades.

At the moment, he was gazing at Austin with a pair of golden eyes that looked like two small suns and

    exuded a fearsome aura.

Austin couldn''t help but shiver at the sight. This man seemed to be a master of some unknown realm

    with extremely powerful strength.

The mere aura he was giving off had caused Austin''s vital energy to start behaving abnormally.

He also felt that he was facing difficulty in making his blood flow.

Austin knew that he was no match for the man.

    "Nice to meet you, sir.

I''m Austin. I''m so sorry to disturb you,"

    he responded politely.

However, even after a long while, the man did not respond.

Austin released his spiritual sense once again to carefully perceive the enemy.

    "A corpse! ?"

Austin felt that something was wrong. To his enormous surprise, although the old man''s eyes were

glowing like goldenmps, it was actually just a corpse.

The body was covered with thick dust and it seemed like the man had died many moons ago.

"He still has a lively appearance, and I can feel his horrifying aura.

    But it''s just a corpse!"

Austin was taken aback and frightened at what could make this happen.

The only possible exnation was that the man had been a great and powerful master when he had

been alive. His strength must have been unimaginable.

Austin unleashed his vital energy and prepared his physical strength before walking carefully towards

the old man''s corpse, observing it carefully.

    How powerful the man looked!

He looked lifelike even after death.

Besides, the corpse was still emanating an aura of terror. Austin estimated that no cultivator at the

Minor-perfection Realm would dare to approach it, or they would be directly crushed.

Even powerful masters at the Major-perfection Realm would not dare to do so; they wouldn''t die, but

they would still be crushed by the horrible aura.

Austin could manage to stand in front of the old man''s corpse only by fully unleashing his physical

strength and vital energy at the same time.
