Chapter 1988 Moment Of Departure (Part Two)
''Well, I think it''s time that I ept the result. Besides, it''s not too bad. Also, I can visit them from time to
time, since the schools are just close to each other as Elder Allen had mentioned, '' thought Austin to
himself.
Austin heaved a deep sigh, feeling less down as he pondered more about it.
Besides, everyone, including Violet and the gnome, would have to go their own ways and face their
own fates. They needed to learn how to fight for themselves for no one could stay around him forever.
Like what the old man in grey had told him a while ago, the way he was going to take would not be
suitable for Caroline, Violet, the gnome, and even the rest of his friends. This would, perhaps, be a
great chance for them to find their own ways and tap into their own martial capabilities.
Everyone was suddenly startled by a loud announcement.
"Listen, everyone! All the new disciples of the ck Tortoise School muste here now and rally. Get
ready for we will leave for the ck Tortoise School in the Middle Pilgrim Land, where you will start a
new life as cultivators," said Elder Barton aloud.
All the new disciples of the ck Tortoise School was surprised at the sudden departure.
When Elder Barton noticed their hesitation, he didn''t think twice to shout once more, "Right now!"
The cluster of disciples in front of him turned cold and even more hesitant.
Most of them, if not all, had nned to go back to their own sects or ns to bid their goodbyes for
they would be gone for quite a long time.
However, Elder Barton wasn''t taking any of their reactions. "If I hear more of this nonsense, I will not
hesitate to leave you. As cultivators, we should all know that our number one priority should be to
practice our martial arts. We should all be decisive and quick in responding, so stop this nonsense. We
leave now! Anyone who wishes to quit can do so now."
Having no other choice but to obey the elder''s order, the new disciples under the ck Tortoise School
immediately hushed.
Violet, who was delighted a moment ago, turned sad now as she felt reluctant to leave Austin. She
hastily walked towards him and said, "Master, to be honest, I don''t want to depart with you.
Why don''t I just quit from the ck Tortoise School now and go with you as before?"
Violet looked at Austin with sad and longing eyes. She had been by his side for at least seven years
now.
She had stayed together with him and had grown up with him ever since she met him.
Having been together for that long established a close rtionship between Violet and Austin as if they
were siblings.
Therefore, it was natural for Violet to feel this way after knowing that she would have to depart soon.
Hearing this from Violet, Austin gave her a weak smile and said, "Violet, please, don''t be silly, and as
Elder Barton said, stop talking nonsense.
Although I don''t want to lose you by my side as well, we have to face the fact that you cannot stay with
me forever. I guess this is the right time for you to leave and see the world on your own."

As a matter of fact, Austin really did not want to be separated with Violet, as well.
However, he had already made up his mind to let go of Violet and was resolved in persuading her to
take her new journey herself.
Violet''s beautiful eyes had turned red as tears threatened toe out. Then again, deep down, she
knew Austin was right.
"All right, master. I will leave as you wish, but you can''t stop me from going to you regrly in the Blue
Dragon School."
"Take care,d," the gnome said as he stepped forward and patted Austin''s back. He, too, felt sad.
Like Violet, the gnome had established a close rtionship with Austin as well.
Aftering across Austin in the Prime Martial World, he had been with him for at least seven years,
more than Austin''s time with Violet.
However, he seemed less sentimental and was resolute in bidding farewell to Austin as if he had
prepared for this time toe.
Austin gave both of them a smile and said, "Both of you should take care as well and stop worrying,
okay? I''ll go and visit you both in the ck Tortoise School even if you don''t have the time to see me in
the Blue Dragon School, okay?"
At this very moment, their conversation was interrupted as Elder Barton waved his hand, revealing a
mighty warship in the air.
Elder Barton then beckoned to his new disciples, and they all jumped onto the boat.
In the blink of an eye, the warship disappeared into the clouds as it started to fleet towards the sky and
into the horizon like a ray of lightning and thunder.
Waving their hands at Austin and theirpanions behind him, Violet and the gnome stood at the bow
of the warship, feeling sad and excited at the same time at their sudden new journey ahead.
As they all watched the warship slowly fading away in the distance, the rest was once more startled by
another announcement. "Eyes and ears here, everyone! All the new disciples of the Rose Finch
School,e and gather here. We will leave now as well!"
Without waiting for their reaction, Elder Allen waved his hand and also summoned a flying ship in the
air. Then, he signaled all the new disciples under him to aboard the ship. Not wanting to get a scolding
like that from Elder Barton, the new disciples of the Rose Finch School dared not to disobey.
After hearing this, Austin''s eyes turned wide. "Caroline!" He shouted and tried to find her among the
crowd.
Caroline was also finding for Austin, and as soon as she heard him call out her name, she ran towards
that direction and saw Austining towards her. They both held onto each other''s hands and looked
into each other with sad eyes.
At this moment of departure, none of them could find the right words to say to each other. Only the
tearsing from Caroline''s beautiful eyes spoke for how both of them felt for each other at that very
moment.
