Chapter 1986 The Young Blue Dragon
"Just not the White Tiger School...I''ll never pick it...
Any one of the other three will do. But which will be the best for me to cultivate my skill?"
Austin mumbled to himself.
The old man had agreed to vouch for Austin''s admission on one of the four major schools. Of course,
Austin would not refuse such an opportunity. After all, he had considered entering one of the four major
schools since he believed he was powerful enough.
"Well, the Blue Dragon School is a formidable academy. Sandro is a close friend of mine from Blue
Dragon School. He and I go way back. I will be pleased to have him take care of you,"
the old man dered when he saw Austin''s hesitation.
"Well sir, since you think so, I''ll choose the Blue Dragon School."
Austin nodded in agreement. After all, except for the White Tiger School, there was no difference
among the three schools for him.
He vividly remembered Percy, the deputy dean of the White Tiger School, who came to the
headquarters of the me Holy Land to attack him.
Austin did not even consider going to the White Tiger School as he knew things might get awkward
between Percy and him. Most of all, a powerful great master at Immortal Transforming Realm might
use any method he deemed effective whether to educate or to discipline a junior.
"Then it is settled!
Young man--your name is Austin, right?
Upon entering the Blue Dragon School, you shall take it upon yourself to hone and cultivate your
strength and skill to their maximum potential.
Enrolling in any of the four schools is a privilege and an honor. However, thepetition is fierce, and
it bes harder every day. Some people may not even survive the tasks. But you have to push
through for every hardshipes with a lesson,"
the old man advised.
"I''ll keep that in mind,"
Austin said with gratitude.
He felt indebted to the old man for having his back. The old man did not even know who Austin was at
first, or how strong he was since they never met in the battlefield. Yet he agreed to help Austin in
entering the Blue Dragon School. For that, Austin was grateful.
"Well, I should head off.
Austin, I know we will see each other again. Until then,"
the old man said to Austin.
"Everybody here is aware that only the top four hundred trainees of the East Maind are qualified to
enter the four major schools. The annual quota shall remain, but with Austin as an addition. Therefore,
this year we shall have four hundred and one new trainees! Wee and congrattions to you all!"
the old man said to the crowd.
The four elders nodded in consensus.
Before the old man left, he smiled at Austin. Finally, he disappeared in an instant, inconspicuously
vanishing from everyone''s sight.
"Goodbye, sir!"
Austin said politely.
"Let us proceed with the selection test,"
one of the elders beside the Talent St announced as soon as the old man left.
"I don''t ept it!"
All of a sudden, a young man with blonde hair and big blue eyes shouted. His voice sounded feeble.
"What?"
The four old men stared at the young man disgruntled.
"I am not ranked in the top four hundred in the test, so I am disqualified from entering the four major
schools. That has been the only rule ever since.
Austin isn''t in the top four hundred neither, but why can he go to the four schools?"
the young manined to the four old men.
"Yeah, it is indeed unfair.
Isn''t it agreed upon that the result would solely be based on the Talent St?
Why did they make such an exception for Austin?"
the other cultivators whispered to each other.
"Silence!"
the old man in grey shouted.
A vital energy force so electric suddenly flooded out of his body like a torrent and enveloped the whole
square in an instant.
The people jolted not only out of fear, but also because of the fiery energy discharged by the old man.
No one dared to make a sound.
The young man who stood out and spoke was very embarrassed, with his face turning red and pale.
He felt apologetic for speaking his mind. Although he believed that he spoke rashly, the young man
knew exactly how powerful the old man in grey was. He could literally kill everyone without moving his
finger.
He regretted agitating such a powerful being.
"What do you know of what you speak?
There are things that are beyond us, including the man-made bws of this god-givennd. Mere
Master Anderson has personally settled the matter. Even if the directors of the four schools were here,
they would easily bow down to him.
Who are you to question someone above you? It would be best for you and everyone to know their
position with respect to the social order our ancestors have designed.
Austin does not have anything to do with you. He did not take anyone''s position. This shall be thest
time that this issue will be raised.
Now, shall we continue with the matter at hand? This whole thing is making very little headway with all
your unnecessary interruptions,"
the old man said with annoyance.
Ever since then, no one in the square dared to talk about Austin again.

The test went on as the other warriors came forward for their turn.
Still, some of them stared at Austin with unconvinced looks.
Austin responded with a faint smile. He was a little embarrassed to be treated specially.
Even Austin himself didn''t understand why the old man vouched for him to enter the four major
schools.
But he didn''t want to think too much about it, he just felt grateful. He trusted his fate, and believed he
would know the reason one day.
An hourter, all the young people of the East Maind had taken part in the Talent St at the
square.
The test was officially over.
The young warriors who qualified the top four hundred were ecstatic, and their elders were very proud.
They even began dreaming about their future career as powerful masters.
Those who were not fortunate to be ranked in the top four hundred left looking dejected.
"Outstanding! As of now, there are more than forty outstanding disciples in our Vasteras Holy Land are
to be students of the four major schools. Long live our Vasteras Holy Land!" a man shouted. The
crowd followed him and chanted continuously.
"The disciples of the Ji n have done excellently. We are proud of you!
I hope you learn from your cousin Henry during your stay at the school. As we expect nothing less, you
must do your best to be a top student as soon as possible."
The high-level figures of the three big holynds and three major ns in the East Maind allughed
happily. They had the most disciples who ranked in the top four hundred.
"It''s a pity though that it was not a fair selection, since some people got into the four major schools by
pulling strings."
"Yes, you''re right. How shameless that was!"
"The Talent St said so itself; he doesn''t have what it takes. Even though he was admitted to the four
main schools through his personal connections, I assure you he would notst long. He dares enter
one of the schools, but he will surely be at the bottom of the pile and be aughingstock in the
future!"
The people from the big sects in the East Maind and those who did not have the chance to enter the
four major schools were staring at Austin coldly.
At the same time, a group of people started to surround Austin.
"Hey, Austin! Congrattions! The old man must be so wise that he can see you as a future student of
the Blue Dragon School regardless of your test result.
Anyway, I''m sure he''s powerful enough to protect you from your future bullies as well. I am certain you
will make a lot of friends."
Brayughed while patting Austin on the shoulder.
Caroline, Violet, the gnome, Peacock Princess, Stacy, and the other disciples including Zoe and Rahul
from the me Holy Land all gathered around Austin.
Austin looked at his friends happily.
They embraced warmly and congratted each other. Austin was excited to go to school with them.
"Well now, as a part of the procedure, we shall decide which school you shall enter.
Everyone, gather in front of the Talent St. The four of us shall designate which school you shall
belong to,"
the old man in grey said with his voice surrounding the entire square.
