Chapter 1947 The Power Of The Sect-protecting Array
When Elder Sharp had finished speaking, all the members of the seven major sects in the East
Maind looked super embarrassed.
Without question, they knew that Elder Sharp was telling them the truth.
The reason that the leaders of the seven top sects in the East Maind had decided to take their men
to the headquarters of the me Holy Land was because of the people of the old, prominent sects and
the four martial arts schools of the Middle Pilgrim Land.
If they hadn''te here with the people from Middle Pilgrim Land, they wouldn''t be able to do anything
to the me Holy Land.
"All right. All right. Stop with the theatrics, old man. When this is over, the me Holy Land will not
exist in the East Maind," the chief of the Ji n said as his face wrinkled and darkened into an
impatient frown.
They both stared at each other intensely. No one else dared to speak for a few minutes as they waited
to see what would happen next.
"You know what? This is ridiculous!
Look at this weakling from this shitty holynd. Look at his nerve!
He doesn''t know when to quit—I bet he doesn''t even have the ability to kneel! Are you knees broken?
How dare you provoke us like this?" Several heads turned as a twelve-year-old boy pushed his way to
the front of the crowd.
His eyes were fixed on Austin and if they looked close enough, it appeared there were fires burning
behind them.
Austin immediately recognized the boy as the boy was the Holy Son of the ck Inferno Sect.
"Austin, listen to us and hand over everything you have," another man said.
The young man with the pale face was clearly the Holy Son of the Nether Sect.
Austin looked around and noticed that at least a dozen strong, young cultivators from the old, major
sects and the four martial arts schools such as the Holy Son of the Heavenly Mysterious Sect and the
Holy Daughter of the Moon Pce were also staring at him.
It appeared that most of the people were there only for Austin and his treasures.
If it came down to it, he didn''t know how he could escape with his life.
"Austin, you brat. We meet again.
I bet you didn''t see thising, did you? Allfy in your riches, were you?
You killed Elder Cowell and so many other disciples of our sect. Your hands are soaked with their
blood.
Now, your sect is doomed because of you and your selfishness.
Tell me, do you regret what you''ve done… even a little bit?
I think I already know the answer. So, if you want to save your sect, you''d better get your ass over here
and kneel before me," an aristocratic and handsome young man announced.
In his eyes was a mixture of resentment and glee. He wanted to destroy Austin and it looked like he
was finally going to get his chance.
The young man thought back to the time when he was in the Fallen Immortal World. He had watched
as Austin mercilessly killed his subordinate Elder Cowell and ran while Austin had tried to kill him.
There were countless reasons for him to want Austin gone.
"Regret?
You know, I actually do regret something. I regret not killing you in the Fallen Immortal World,"

Austin responded, crossing his arms casually over his chest and smiling.
"Really? You''re really going to go there? Well, you''re stupid—I''ll give you that. I will enjoy killing you
slowly and painfully.
In a few moments, you will be begging just to die!"
Fuming, the young man whose father was the leader of the Unworldly Sect clenched his fists and
allowed his body to tremble like a leaf.
"Leave it to me. He killed our members. I''ll be the one to break into the me Holy Land," an older
man cut in, stepping out from behind the young man.
Using his bodily movement skill, he flew above the gate of the me Holy Land and hovered there.
He was an elder from the Unworldly Sect. He was short and slightly stout but he was clearly powerful.
"Oh, I understand. There is a Sect-protecting Array here. That is why you''re acting so cocky. You think
this tiny array will be able to protect you from us?
In a couple seconds, I will have broken this array and then you will be helpless,"
the elder added, giving the array a pathetic nce.
With a shrug and crack of his knuckles, he spread his fingers and let out a huge ray of energy.
It twisted and formed into an axe which rested in his hand. It glowed brightly and threateningly,
illuminating his face.
Everyone looked at him and didn''t dare to speak as they waited to see what would happen next.
Slowly, the axe raised into the air.
The elder let out a breath and swung the axe at the gate of the me Holy Land.
When it made contact with the array, the force shook the air.
Even in the distance, the cultivators stumbled and struggled to keep their bnce.
The handsome, young man who was the son of the leader of the Unworldly Sect burst intoughter.
"Would you look at that?
You idiot had the balls to murder our members and now everyone in your sects will die. Isn''t it funny
how things turn out in the end?"
he said with a smirk.
Without wasting any time, Elder Sharp hurled array gs around the headquarters of the me Holy
Land. They shot into the sky and went in separate directions.
Within seconds, beams of light shed above the headquarters like fireworks.
The rays of light intertwined and exploded, dazzling everyone''s eyes.
As it settled, a huge dome was formed above them.
"Nice trick. But clearly the East Maind doesn''t possess any powerful arrays. This will be simple!"
the elder of the Unworldly Sect said with a smile on his face.
Bang!
He hit the dome that had been created from the Sect-protecting Array with the axe once more.
The air trembled even more violently than it had the first time, causing several cultivators to fall on their
behinds.
The elder was surprised to see that his axe bounced back so hard that it flew out of his hands.
"Wait! What''s this?"
The elder''s expression immediately changed from happiness to shock and then anger.
"It seems I''ve underestimated you. Your Sect-protecting Array is powerful, maybe too powerful for me
to destroy alone. Now I see where you get your bravery from."
The elder turned sadly and faced the distance.
However, instead of giving up, he lifted his hands and waved them in a dance.
The axe reappeared and floated out of his hand. It quickly grew in size until it covered the sky above
everyone. It was as bright as the sun.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Falling, it collided with the Sect-protecting Array of the me Holy Land continuously.
The elder was determined and he kept hitting it until a constant sound rang in everyone''s ears.
However, no matter how many times the axe attacked, it couldn''t break the array.
Watching on, Elder Sharpughed mockingly, gaining the elder''s attention.
"I thought the masters in the Middle Pilgrim Land were exceedingly powerful. Looks like I was wrong,"
he said loudly.
Then he pointed at the dome.
On cue, thousands of beams of light emerged from the Sect-protecting Array and shot into the air like
arrows.
Each streak wasrge and blindingly bright. Everyone had to look away and shield their eyes.
Guiding them, Elder Sharp sent the beams towards the elder of the Unworldly Sect.
With a snort, the elder of the Unworldly Sect waved his hand.
The axe returned and he held it in front of him. From it, shadows emerged that absorbed all the light.
Just when the elder of the Unworldly Sect thought that he was safe, a dark wave of water rose in the
distance and rushed towards him.
His eyes widened. It couldn''t be.
The elder of the Unworldly Sect released his spiritual sense to confirm what the ck water was. When
he figured it out, he was taken aback.
"It''s the water from the Immortal Burial Sea," he murmured, leaping out of the way to avoid the deadly
water.
He wasn''t the only one who was in shock. No one could believe that they were up against such
powerful weapons.
''How could the Sect-protecting Array of the me Holy Land be so powerful?
Even an elder from the old, top-notch sect of the Middle Pilgrim Land couldn''t break it with an ultimate
magical treasure, '' they thought.
"Everyone, we need to work together to defeat this array!
I can''t break it on my own. I need your help," the elder of the Unworldly Sect said loudly as he watched
the ck water cease.
Even though it was embarrassing to admit, he had realized that the Sect-protecting Array of the me
Holy Land was too powerful to break all by himself.
