Chapter 1850 The Divine Silkworm (Part One)
Without wasting another moment, Austin closed his eyes and shot into the sky using his bodily
movement skill. He flew through the air like lightning.
After several hours, Austinnded at the foot of a huge, grey mountain. He thanked the gnome who
had helped guide him there.
Austin would be lost without the gnome''s help. The gnome was able to easily detect various types of
precious natural resources from miles away. He had been the first to inform Austin that there were
high-grade superior herbs hidden in the mountain. That was the reason why Austin came here in the
first ce. He needed more superior herbs for his following cultivation process.
Stopping at the entrance of the mountain, Austin turned to his Illusion Bead and released Violet and the
gnome. They entered the mountain together and skillfully navigated the dim caves, working together to
collect handfuls of high-grade superior herbs. They did such things like a thousand times over, and
each of them clearly knew what to do.
The goal was to find at least 4, 000 sixth-grade superior herbs and they had collected only a few
hundred so far. Austin sighed and thought about how great he would feel when he finished the
cultivation of the Immortal Body Refining Form. All he needed was the herbs and time to practice it.
They walked along a narrow corridor in between caves, searching all the crevices and holes for more
herbs.
Every so often, they woulde across other warriors searching for superior herbs, but they didn''t
acknowledge them.
This mountain was popr but vast, so none of the cultivators had the need to fight for the resources.
Everyone was safe to harvest at their leisure. That was just a good thing for Austin and his friends.
Eventually, the three of them reached the innermost part of the mountain. The cave opened up into a
Boom!
Austin turned his gaze towards the cliff as the ground at his feet shook violently. The walls around them
also trembled, sending rocks falling from the ceiling. All at once, the trees in the depths of the mountain
blew up andnded all over in small pieces.
"Wait! What''s going on over there? Come on, guys. If we move quietly, we can check out what''s
happening,"
Austin said to Violet and the gnome. They nodded in agreement, also curious about what was
happening.
Walking carefully on the downward slope, he led them closer to the cliff. When they saw what was
happening, he pulled them over behind a giant rock to take cover.
Now they finally knew where was the noiseing from! In front of them there were two giant beasts
battling fiercely with each other.
They were close to the giant cliff that was covered in white clouds.
To Austin''s surprise, he realized that one beast was a golden lion with wings and the other was a white
tiger with smooth fur. The luster reminded him of the finest jade.
"It''s two beasts of the Heavenly Grotto Realm!"
Austin eximed, feeling the hair on his body stand on end. He had worried they woulde across a
human enemy, but he hadn''t expected to stumble upon huge beasts in the mountain.
Whoosh!
All around them, several figures heard the noise too and suddenly showed up to see what the
They were braver or perhaps stupider than Austin and his friends as they stood in the open and
watched the beasts in horror and amazement.
"It''s impossible! I can''t believe it! I''m seeing a golden fire lion and a white jade tiger. They are both rare
species in the Divine Continent. People even said they were already extinct! Gosh! How lucky I am! I
can''t believe my eyes,"
one of the warriors yelled out with wide eyes, pointing at the beasts.
It made sense that the warrior was so surprised. The beasts were a part of the ancient beasts.
Cultivators from the Divine Continent hadn''t seen them for centuries.
After overhearing the stunned cultivator''s words, Austin was still in shock.
The lion and tiger came from the same cloth as the gnome and Violet did. They were all ancient beasts.
After a few minutes, the beasts stopped circling each other.
The golden fire lion seemed to be on the losing side. It retreated several feet and snarled at the tiger,
curling its lips.
Swoosh!
The lion opened its mouth three times the size of its head and a me of raging golden fire sted out.
It raced at the tiger which started to curl into a ball.
Whoosh!
As it curled tighter, a thick frozen mist suddenly surrounded the tiger like a shield. Not even the hot fire
could prate it.
Suddenly, the tiger transformed into a white light and rose over the spew of fire. It zoomed in a straight
line until it was hovering over the lion''s head.
Puff!
The lion looked up but it was toote. The white jade tiger had swiped its huge front paw against the
top of the lion''s head. A huge hole was left behind, gushingrge amounts of blood.
Stumbling, the lion''s eyes crossed and it slipped off the edge of the cliff, falling to its death.
The crowd watched in awe as the white jade tiger finished off the lion. It then looked into the distance
and transformed back into a white light before flying towards a spot on the edge of the cliff.
"Look! There is a huge bird''s nest over there!"
someone eximed.
Everyone turned and saw the nest perched in between the trees. They now understood why the beasts
had been fighting. There was only one exnation, and that was both of them wanted whatever was
inside that nest.
It must be something precious to make two beast at the Heavenly Grotto Realm fight to the death for it.
Many of the warriors started to speak excitedly, wondering and theorizing about what was inside the
nest.
Howl!
The white jade tiger was about to reach the huge bird nest when
another giant figure fell from the top of the cliff.
Its shadow was long and thin and when it came into the light, people around saw another bizarre
scene! It was a nine-headed snake.Belonging ? N?velDram/a.Org.
