Chapter 1802 Merry Gang
Austin, Violet, and the gnome headed for the imperial capital city of the me Kingdom. But their
journey was interrupted in between by a shout.
"Sir, Miss, you must leave as quickly as possible. Let us handle them."
An anxious shout suddenly reached their ears and they stopped in their paths.
Then Austin saw a group of people rushing towards them from the woods in front of them. They were
looking rather embarrassed.
The group consisted of about a hundred members and they were being led by an old man.
Judging by their clothes, they were from the same sect.
The old man d in grey and evidently the strongest and the thinnest of them all was walking at the
end of the line, urging the people in front to speed up.
"Elder Spencer, no! We should run together.
I cannot leave you alone to fight the enemy."
There was a young man and a young woman — both well-dressed — in the line, and apparently they
were protected by the others of the group.
"Sorry sir! Sorry miss! We have no other choice. I''ll only slow you down and if we move at such a low
pace, they''ll catch us pretty soon and none of us will make it out of here alive.
You are the only remaining children of our leader, and with you lie the hopes of the future of our Merry
Gang. We need you to escape.
You must try and find a ce to hide.

the old man replied sadly.

the old man in gray urgently told them to run.

Humph! Traitors! You betrayed the empire. The emperor explicitly issued an edict that you must enter
the imperial capital city and ept the arrangements of the royal family. All you had to was follow the

Suddenly, a cold voice resounded in the air, and a tall figure appeared in the distance.
He was wearing a gilded armor and a solemn expression. There was the dignified look of a general on
his face.
"Hurry up! Run!"
the old man shouted fretfully as he saw the general. His face had changed dramatically.
Then, he stretched out his hands, and ten streams of powerful vital energy rushed out of his fingertips
in an instant.
Each of these streams morphed into one of several kinds of diabolic beasts that existed in the world. A
tiger, leopard, wolf, and seven other beasts attacked the general. They raised their heads and roared at
the sky. This was going to be a powerful fight.
"What are you waiting for? Run!"
the old man roared at the people of the Merry Gang as heunched his attack.
"Take care, Elder Spencer."
The young man and the young woman, who were being called sir and miss by the old man in grey,
gritted their teeth and then ran away with the others. The woman was constantly looking back to see if
the elder was okay.
"Oh that''s okay. They can''t escape anyway,"
the general announced with a yful smile. He stretched out his hand, and a shiny iron spear
appeared in his hand.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Within seconds of its appearance, the spear rushed out of the general''s hands and targeted the old
man.

In a single move, the old man was stabbed in the shoulder and a wound as big as a bowl appeared on
his shoulder. The velocity was so much that he was thrown away immediately.
The general then walked towards the old man and lifted him up from his cors.
For some reason, he did not go after the people of the Merry Gang, and merely sneered at them. They
were fleeing quickly yet here he was, holding the old man with his cors.
"Hah! Not a single one of you will escape today. In no way possible!"
All of a sudden, a young man, who was d in a shadowy ck appeared out of nowhere and ran
towards the Merry Gang. He was so fast that he blocked their way instantly.
"Master, those people are from the Ji n. Shall we go over to help?"
Violet asked Austin.
"Wait a minute."
Austin held her back.
The trio were standing high in the sky in the distance, keeping a close eye on what was going on below
them. They were just floating in the air as if the clouds were a carpet.
"Get out of the way!"
Four or five disciples of the Merry Gang roared in fury as they charged at the man who was blocking
their way.
"Hah! Don''t overestimate yourself! You are rushing into the jaws of death!"
sneered the young man in ck.

There was a sudden sh of white light and a powerful vital energy force came out of his body. With his
left hand behind his back and the right hand chopping at the Merry Gang members in front of them, he
easily beat every single one of them. Though he did not kill them, but most of them were critically
injured.
"Humph! You would be dead now if I had wanted to kill you.
I can kill the rubbish sorts like you with just a few moves!"
the young man in ck proudly dered. It seemed like he didn''t take the disciples of the Merry Gang
seriously at all.
Among the disciples of the Merry Gang, even the most powerful one was only at the Bitter Sea Realm.
But this young man in ck was at the premium stage of Divine Bridge Realm. The gap between their
strengths was huge.
It was obvious that the entire group couldn''t beat him no matter what.
They were no match for the young man.
"You guys are from the Ji n!
But tell me one thing, our Merry Gang has never offended a single person of the Ji n. Why are you
doing this? What have we done to you?"
Elder Spencer asked the young man in ck in a fearful yet furious tone.
The Merry Gang was a small sect in the me Kingdom and they liked to go about their own merry
ways.
Meanwhile, the Ji n was a super powerful force in the East Maind. It was unlikely that the two of
them had ever crossed paths.
Therefore, when Elder Spencer recognized where the man in ck was from, he immediately fell into
despair. He couldn''t take over this force!
He knew clearly that even with theirbined strength, the Ji n would catch up with these members
of the Merry Gang, no matter how far they escaped.
That was because the Ji n had a strong influence in the East Maind.

The leader of this troop walked up to the general and addressed him respectfully.
"Arrest them! Take them back now,"
ordered the general.
"Yes, sir!"
The leader replied respectfully.
Then arge group of soldiers rushed forwards and encircled the members of the Merry Gang. The

The young man in ck suddenly seemed to change his mind and find evil intentions. He then
appeared right next to the miss of the Merry Gang, stretched out his hand, and touched her face softly.
"Get away from me!"
the girl screamed in a fearful tone, her face turning pale.
"Let go of my sister, you bastard! I''ll kill you!"
the young man of the Merry Gang shouted angrily.
"Rubbish! Do you want to die? I can arrange that!"
The man in ck pped him hard across the face.
The attack was so strong that the young man was thrown into the air.
Austin''s eyes grew cold as he watched this scene in the distant sky.
"Let''s go! They need our help!"
he told hispanions.
