Chapter 1799 How About Now
Austin turned to Rahul and yelled orders at him to take charge of the Five Elements City. He nodded
and gestured for the other disciples to follow Rahul during his absence.
Afterwards, he went to the depth of the casten mansion and stood in the teleportation array. With a
sh, he traveled back to the headquarters of the me Holy Land.
Even though it didn''t feel like it, it had been more than half a year since Austin had been at the
headquarters.
The surroundings had changed drastically. His eyes couldn''t stop moving as he took it all in.
All around the headquarters there were huge mountains. Each one was rounded and towering over the
one before it.
In between the mountains, trees and other foliage were scattered on the ground.
The me Holy Land was deemed the headquarters of a big sect and now it had the surroundings to
match it.
The area used to be miles of scarlet desert. There wasn''t a drop of greenery in sight. Now, no one
would be able to tell that it was once barren.
Austin''s eyes widened as he took it all in. The headquarters was beautiful and he was d to be home.
He admired the work of the Sect-protecting Array of the me Holy Land. It had been around since
ancient times and was responsible for altering the location.
The array was big enough to change the topography of the surrounding area. Austin couldn''t believe
that arrays had so much power that they could still amaze him.
Smiling, Austin strolled inside and wandered until he came across another human. It took him several
minutes before he stumbled across Elder Sharp.
The three elders and four stewards had already gone out so Elder Sharp was left in charge.
The me Holy Land had just been rebuilt, and everything needed to be upgraded.
Therefore, the three elders and four stewards had been very busy over the past six months. They had
been building and organizing with other ns and races.
After lots of negotiating, the me Holy Land had convinced the Deep Sea Commercial House to work
with them in all aspects.
In addition, the Han n, one of the threerge ns; the beast race, found residing in the East
Maind; and the fire crow race were very close to the me Holy Land.
They had managed to enlist these ns and races but they still had to work to develop rtionships
with their leaders and people.
Therefore, the three elders and four stewards often went out tomunicate with them and deal with
all kinds of affairs.
It was the job of the three elders to travel to the East Maind and recruit more potential disciples. The
job wasn''t easy and often took several days.
Elder Sharp, on the other hand, stayed in the headquarters and took charge of the group. If he were to
leave, there would be unexpected chaos.
Besides, he offered guidance to the disciples'' cultivation.
He was a wise and talented elder and it didn''t take long for the disciples to make obvious progress.
"Austin, it''s been a long time."
Hearing his name, Austin stopped his wandering and turned towards the voice. He saw Zoee
running over to him.
"Zoe! Look at you! You''ve broken through to the preliminary level of Divine Bridge Realm!"
Austin said, surprised to see his friend there.
"I know! It only took six months because Elder Sharp is a genius. Soon, I''ll be able to take you on,"
Zoe said happily.
"Well, Elder Sharp''s cultivation base is unfathomable. I would have been lucky to have learned under
him,"
Austin replied, nodding.
Austin chatted with Zoe for a while, and then he returned to the small hill where he had lived before. It
felt strange to be back home as he walked around the rooms.
He entered the secret cultivation room and was hit with a giant wave of nostalgia. Before he had a
moment to ept it, he was teleported into the ve Tower.
When he had regained his footing, Austin released his spiritual sense. It didn''t take long for him to
locate Caroline, Violet, and the gnome.
''What? Caroline is in the third floor?
This means that she broke through to the preliminary stage of Bitter Sea Realm!''
A smile spread on Austin''s face and he began running towards the third floor. Then, he stopped,
remembering that he could teleport.
He closed his eyes and used his spiritual sense to travel to the third floor of the ve Tower.
The third floor was filled with water. Austin remembered that it was the world of the ocean.
Far in the vast, blue sea, Caroline was fighting with a demonic shark. Her cultivation was in the medium
stage of Bitter Sea Realm and she was easily oveing it.
Austin teleported to a spot a few meters away and he floated in the air above the water.
Caroline let out a yell and used her powers to send the shark to the bottom of the sea. It leaped back
up out of the water and she effortlessly killed it.
Before Austin could say her name, she had turned and saw him.
Austin reached out towards her and she used the bodily movement skill to fly towards Austin. She
came to a rest inches from him.
"How long have you been broken through to the Bitter Sea Realm?
Why didn''t you tell me? "
He didn''t give her a chance to answer before he lovingly wrapped his arm around her slender waist.
"I wanted to let Brady tell you.
However, Brady told me that you were busyprehending the sword intent, so I told him not to
disturb you."
She nestled in his arms so tightly that it was clear how much she missed him.
"It''s okay. It''s your business that is the most important thing,"
Austin said with a smile.
"You are bing more and more cunning.
You used to behave yourself,"
she scolded.
Her words were stopped short by the flock of seagulls that flew above them. They both looked up at the
sky in silence.
Austin and Caroline stood side by side, and their clothes fluttered in the sea breeze.
The scene was peaceful and it was easy to forget the killing of the shark and the brief annoyance for
the time being.
Austin snuggled closer to Caroline and she turned to look at him.
Before she could react, he lowered his head and kissed her gently.
She backed away from him and tried to slip out of his grasp.
Austin chuckled and pulled her back in, resting his head against hers.
She looked into the distance for an escape but a strange feeling of tenderness spread through her like
water in a river.
Like melting snow in the spring, she felt weak and had no strength left to even lift a finger.
She sighed and leaned against Austin. He smiled down at her.
Her body shook with nervousness as she looked up at him.
Austin''s hands also began to tremble as he reached out and grabbed hers.
They were so close to each other that, in that moment, nothing else existed.
They looked into each other''s eyes, felt the heat of each other''s skin, and heard each other''s heartbeat.
It was just the two of them.
The water and seagulls were nowhere. It was like they were floating in the air with nothing at their feet.
All of the evil had gone. There were no more battles to be fought.
They both wished they could stay there forever.
As if it couldn''tst, Caroline''s eyes became unfocused, her delicate earlobes became dark red, and
her white slender neck had also turned strangely red.
She continued to look up at Austin and he could tell that she was nervous and fascinated.
At that moment, Caroline felt that she was about to melt in his love.
''Damn it! That was close!
I almost forgot about that Lothario!''
he thought, jumping in surprise.
Then Austin concentrated and formed a thick spiritual sense wall in his Soul Sea, which blocked it from
otherspletely.
"Damn it! You brat!
I wanted to see what would happen next. Don''t you know it''s impolite to interrupt?
I''m trapped in here with nothing to do.
Can''t I have some entertainment?"
The me Emperor cursed from Austin''s Soul Sea.
Once Austin had sealed his Soul Sea, the me Emperor couldn''t see what was happening with
Austin and Caroline any longer. He sighed.
"Damn it! When I sessfully rebuild my body, I will find a bunch of beautiful girls and surround myself
with them to make up for what I have suffered over the past thousand years!"
the me emperor said with hatred.
"What''s wrong, Austin?"
she asked in a low voice.
"Nothing. Let''s continue.
You are so beautiful, Caroline,"
Austin said with a smile.
"Stop it, Austin. When did you learn to be so naughty?"
Caroline was a little shy, but her heart was overjoyed to hear him say it.
"Hey, you need to hear it. It''s true,"
he whispered in her ear, which made her giggle and blush harder.
Completely taken aback, Caroline stared up at Austin. Her mind was no longer functioning properly.
She closed her eyes and soaked in every sense and breath.
There wasn''t any more fight in her. She didn''t want to resist him.
"Caroline, we have to take this step sooner orter. How about now..."
