Chapter 1724 An Ancestor From The Flame Holy Land

Chapter 1724 An Ancestor From The me Holy Land

In the silence, three elders from the me Holy Land appeared on the eighth floor of the ve Tower.

They looked around and when they saw Austin, their faces lit up with surprise and worry.

"Holy Heritor, are you all right?" one of the elders asked.

Austin sighed in relief but that didn''t stop the elders from hurrying to surround him. One of them even

    checked Austin for wounds.

"I''m fine. Thank you for your concern," Austin said, smiling.

It was moving to think that the elders had rushed to help him once they had found out his was trapped

there. However, he wasn''t the one who needed help most. Austin led the elders to the old man on the

    ground.

"This elder is not doing well. He is a part of our me Holy Land and has been since ancient times.

He''s been sealed in the Northern Mine District for a long time and has juste back to life but he''s

not responding," Austin added as he looked at the old man who was sitting on the ground.

It seemed that none of the elders had noticed his presence.

They looked at the old man with open jaws. He looked like a corpse.

The three elders felt that something was going on with the old man.

The old man''s eyes were empty and staring straight ahead. It looked like he was caught in an old

memory and couldn''t snap out of it.

    "What happened to this elder?"

asked Elder Brendan, pointing at him.

"I don''t know exactly. He came back to life and then sat down and hasn''t moved since. It freaked me

out. The only reason I can think of is that he hasn''t adapted to the environment yet.

It might help if we left him alone for a while and see if hees to on his own,"

Austin exined, gazing sympathetically at the old man.

"We get it, brat. You don''t have to exin it to us. It''s obvious that this old man has been sealed for too

    long.

Over time, his life energy has drained out of him—like water dripping slowly from a bucket with a hole

    in the bottom.

That means that even though he is alive again, he is not conscious. His remaining life energy is not

strong or plentiful enough to jolt his body awake.

He needs a long time to recover and regain his energy.

However, I know a way that we can help him now. There is a way to give him arge amount of energy

    that he can absorb.

It will give him a chance to recover in a short span of time," Earth Hermit said to Austin.

Austin could see the idea lighting up in his eyes like a spark and he felt hope surge in him too.

"That''s a good idea. We can give it a try,"

Brady responded as he nodded in agreement.

"Okay. Step back. I''ll go first," Austin announced, waving his arm in front of him.

He flicked his wrist and about a billion enlightening crystals emerged from his Space Ring.

Theynded in piles on the ground and slid towards the old man.

Austin looked down at his Space Ring and rubbed it with his fingers. Ruling crystals began to pour out

of it and shower the ground at his feet. There must have been ten million of them that traveled towards

    the old man.

Without stopping to consider it, Austin took out over ten thousand superior herbs and dropped them

    around the old man.

Once he was finished, Austin stood silently and watched the old man. He didn''t stir. What Austin had

offered was almost everything he owned.

"Wow, brat. I never expected you to be so rich,"

    Earth Hermit praised.

If other young cultivators in the East Maind were around, they would be too shocked at the sight of

the treasures to utter a word. It normally took years to acquire such riches and even then, sometimes

    cultivators ended up poor.

"In order to show my respect for the elder, I''d like to share some of my collections too," Earth Hermit

    added, surprising Austin.

Perhaps there was still a chance the old man could wake. Everyone watched as Earth Hermit rubbed

his Space Ring and piles of objects fell on the ground.

There were tons of enlightening crystals, ruling crystals, superior herbs, and pills. The value of these

items was higher than everything Austin had taken out of his Space Ring.

    "So do we."

The three elders of the me Holy Land also took out all sorts of crystals, herbs, and pills from their

Space Rings. Austin couldn''t believe how easily all of them had contributed their precious treasures to

help the old man that none of them knew.

Before long, the eighth floor of the ve Tower was filled with crystals, herbs, and pills.

They continued to pile up until the old man was buried beneath them. Austin watched as the tip of his

head disappeared and momentarily worried that they had gone too far. Could they provide him with too

    much life energy?

The only way they knew he hadn''t vanished was with their spiritual senses.

Suddenly, dense spiritual energy roared and raged like strong gusts of wind.

"Look! Something is happening!" Elder Brendan eximed, pointing at the old man.

There were signs of delight on Elder Brendan''s face.

The others unleashed their spiritual sense to check on the old man hurriedly.

As they waited with baited breath, the wrinkled skin on the old man''s face twitched. Austin cried out in

    surprise.

Although his eyes were still hollow and vacant, he batted an eyelid.

Momentster, the cloudiness in his eyes seeped away and he blinked several times. Austin took a

    step backwards.

Suddenly, in a jerking motion, the old man stuck out his withered hand and made a strange gesture.

    Swoosh!

All of the crystals, pills, and herbs lifted off the ground and flew at the old man. As they reached him,

    their spiritual energy was released.

The old man didn''t stand but continued to sit on the ground and drew the energy from the treasures in

his direction. Within moments, his body had absorbed half of them.

White spiritual energy glowed from his body, making him look like a sun.

Surprisingly, he continued to force more spiritual energy into his body. The eighth floor shook under the

immense power but the old man didn''t seem to notice.

He glowed brighter and the others leaped backwards in surprise. He looked like he was about to

    implode.

As they looked closer, they realized that his body was changing. In the blink of an eye, the wrinkles on

his skin began to smooth over and the sparse, white hair on his head began to regrow.

His curved back began to straighten one vertebrae at a time.

He looked truly alive and stronger than any of the others around him.

Hours passed but the others could not take their eyes off of him. They had never seen age reverse

    itself before.

The old man, who had been as thin as a skeleton before, hadpletely changed into a middle-aged

man. He had thick hair and handsome features.

His deep-set eyes looked at the surroundings and his dashing eyebrows lowered. Even though he

appeared young now, his eyes still held wisdom.

Four hourster, the middle-aged man finally stopped absorbing spiritual energy.

"s, hundreds of thousands of years have passed since I''ve been able to move..."

the middle-aged man said in a thick voice.

The first words he said were not expected by the others. They stared at him as if they didn''t believe he

    was real.

ording to him, he had been born hundreds of thousands of years ago.

It appeared he had once withered and now he hade back to life.

In their many years, the elders and Austin had seen a lot of unbelievable things happen; however, the

fact that the old man was now standing before them, young again, was hard to ept. The fact that he

was ancient made it even more insane.

Even Brady, who was more than one hundred thousand years old, was speechless.

''This middle-aged man was born hundreds of thousands of years ago. He is an elder to me. This is

    strange, '' Brady thought.

As if realizing in that moment that they were there, the middle-aged man turned and looked at Austin

and hispanions. He didn''t utter a word.

Under his gaze, their hearts started racing. They didn''t know if he was a friend or a foe yet. They might

have just set themselves up for an attack and lost all their treasures at the same time.

Before any of them could react, the middle-aged man waved his hand.

    Whoosh!

The nine-story, scarlet tower shot from Elder Brendan''s body andnded in the palm of the middle-

    aged man''s hand.

Elder Brendan looked back and forth between the middle-aged man and his own body. It all happened

so fast that he didn''t even know it was happening.

''This elder is scary good, '' Elder Brendan thought.

"It''s been a while, Sparkling Scarlet Tower," the middle-aged man said gently as he looked at the red

tower with obsession in his eyes.

He looked like he had discovered his long-lost lover.

The Sparkling Scarlet Tower was the ultimate magical treasure owned by the me Holy Land. It was

sought after by so many and few had ever set eyes on it.

"What''s your rtionship with the me Holy Land?"

the middle-aged man asked as he turned to look at Elder Brendan.

His question snapped Elder Brendan out of the trance. He rushed at the middle-aged man and stopped

    inches from him.

"Sir, I''m an elder of the me Holy Land,"

Elder Brendan exined and bowed deeply in front of the man.
