Chapter 1641 Get Lost

    Chapter 1641 Get Lost

A couple of dayster, Austin and a dozen girls from the beast race weaved through the mountains and

    into the opennd.

After walking until their feet were sore and sweat drenched their backs, they arrived at the tall gates of

    a busy city.

As they entered the gates, Austin realized they were in the Sunrise City which was part of the Kim

Kingdom. It was cleaner than a lot of the cities he had been to before but there were hundreds of

    people roaming the streets.

In between their bobbing heads, Austin caught sight of posters on the far wall that had his face

    stered across them.

There were rewards listed below each of his portraits that were offered by different sects and ns in

    the East Maind.

Austin''s jaw dropped and his eyebrows pushed closer together in a frown.

''How did they find out what I look like? I wore that human-skin mask in the Purple Immortal''s tomb so

my appearance was not my own.

But that is my real face on those posters.

By now, my portrait could be everywhere in the East Maind, '' Austin thought. He kicked his foot

    against the ground and grunted.

Wondering why he only saw his own face, he scanned his eyes across all the walls but he couldn''t find

    Earth Hermit''s portrait.

''Earth Hermit is notable in the East Maind, so those sects and ns must not have offered a reward

for his arrest in public. They must have set their men to look for him in secret.

I''m just a nobody which means the leaders of those sects and ns didn''t have a problem posting

    rewards for my capture.''

Now on high alert, Austin transformed his appearance using the human-skin mask. He now looked like

apletely different young man. After roaming the city for a while, he and the girls walked into a

tavern and sat at a window seat.

The tavern was loud and full of people but Austin could still pick out conversations regarding him

    between the cultivators nearby.

"I saw that the leaders of many sects and ns are offering a handsome reward for clues regarding

that Austin Lin. Have you gotten any leads on him?

It''s insane. The leader of the Ji Family—one of the three prominent families—has offered a reward of

one hundred million enlightening crystals for his capture. If I can locate that brat first, I''ll be a rich man."

"That doesn''t seem like a good deal to me. I think they should have offered more enlightening crystals.

After all, Purple Immortal''s most valuable collections and the method to reach the Immortal

Transforming Realm might be in that coffin that he stole.

He possesses priceless treasures. Even the powerful reclusive elders from the three holynds and the

three prominent ns who are living out their lives in seclusion want them badly. The bounty on his

    head should increase."

"But remember? Austin Lin was the brat who saved the princess in the beast race in the Dawning

    Mountains, Dawning Kingdom.

When he did that, Roc King and Flood Dragon King threatened to kill the members of Ji Family if they

"Well, you''re right then. That coffin must contain extremely priceless treasures if the Ji Family is willing

to risk its entire family for them. One hundred million enlightening crystals... That would be nice.

Oh! And I''ve been told that Austin stole Marcus Ji''s most powerful magic treasure. That could also be a

contributing reason in their hunt for him.

Humph! Austin has stolen too much. Now even the beast race will not be able to protect him."

"You have a good point. I also heard some powerful elders from the beast race are searching for Austin

    secretly.

I bet they have their eyes on Purple Immortal''s coffin too. This kid has made a grave mistake."

The cultivators'' conversations continued loudly over the scrap and tter of silverware. It seemed

everyone in the tavern had something to say about Austin and none of it was good.

Austin knitted his eyebrows and stared hard at his empty, sparkling te. Not only was everyone after

him but none of what he had heard made any sense.

''No one is supposed to know my name except for people from the me Holy Land.

However, from what I''ve heard, it seems like every cultivator in the East Maind knows me now.

    Who sold me out?

Was it someone at the base?''

Austin picked up one of his chopsticks and turned it in circles in his hand, mulling it over. Suddenly,

Will''s face popped into his head.

''Will has always wanted me dead. Is it possible that he was the one that stabbed me in the back?''

Austin was snapped out of his thoughts when he saw the looks of shock and horror on Peacock

Princess''s and her maids'' faces. He''d been so consumed with the cultivators'' opinions of him that he

had entirely forgotten they were in his presence.

    "Are they telling the truth?

Did you really take Purple Immortal''s coffin with you?" Cheryl asked.

She leaned across the table and fluttered her long eyshes, looking adorable.

The sweet, flowery scent of her body wafted into Austin''s nose, making him unable to think of an

answer. His mouth stuttered open and shut.

Peacock Princess seemed more impatient, like she urgently needed an answer from him. Her

inquisitive eyes held onto his gaze as he tried to speak.

''There were countless top cultivators from the East Maind that broke into Purple Immortal''s tomb in

    search of treasures.

How did a young man beat all of them?'' she thought.

Austin''s long silence didn''t frustrate Cheryl. She got up from her seat and plopped down next to him.

"Did you get Purple Immortal''s lifetime collections?" she asked as she clung to his arm and turned his

head to make him look straight into her eyes.

At this point, Austin finally snapped out of his daze. His eyes widened and he looked away from Cheryl.

He pretended to cough to cover up how tense he was. He had never been a good liar.

"They are making that up," he said.

''Now that some incredibly powerful elders from the beast race are looking for me, I have to lie to them

for my own safety, '' he thought.

    "Cheryl, don''t bother Mr. Lin,"

Peacock Princess scolded, frowning at her maid.

Cheryl released Austin immediately and sat back in her chair with her hands folded in herp.

Suddenly, the sound of heavy footsteps reached their ears.

Everyone in the tavern turned in their seats and looked in the direction of the noise. Austin was

surprised to see an eighteen-year-old boy standing at the bottom of the staircase. d in all white

clothes, he had a pleasant countenance. His big eyes were twinkling down on the people of the tavern.

Even Austin could appreciate his handsomeness.

Footsteps continued as two middle-aged men who were wearing indigo clothes descended behind him.

From the way they were standing stock still, it appeared they were servants of the teenager.

One of the middle-aged men escorted the teenager to an empty table and he bent to wipe the seat

spotless before he let the teenager sit. He and the other middle-aged man stood behind their master

    like bodyguards.

The voices of the crowd were now hushed and they were no longer talking about Austin. It appeared

    that this teenager was famous.

Austin looked at his servants again and determined that they were Divine Bridge Realm masters. One

of them was at the preliminary stage while the other had reached the medium stage.

With eyes ring, the teenager surveyed the crowd. He had an air of haughtiness to him, like he was

the most superior person in the room.

However, that all changed when his gaze fell on Peacock Princess. His eyes lit up like fireworks.

Peacock Princess had snow-white, creamy skin and was endowed with the breath-taking beauty. With

just one look, she could have any man in the world on his knees.

The teenager ogled Peacock Princess obsessively. Austin was surprised that he didn''t see drool drip

off his chin. After a while, the teenager winked at one of the middle-aged men.

Understanding the teenager''s instructions, the middle-aged man left his side and walked to where

    Austin and the girls were.

"Mydy, our master wants you. This way, please,"

the middle-aged man said politely, looking at Peacock Princess.

"Who the heck is your master? Is he some important person? Why else would mydy want to ept

    his invitation?

    Get lost!"

Cheryl yelled defensively, narrowing her big eyes at the man.

Peacock Princess was such a gorgeous girl that no man could stop themselves from falling in love with

her. She barely even flinched at this request.

It was daily asion for strange men to ask for her presence. Her maids were all used to the situation,

but they were still steadfastly protective of her.

    "Humph!

You are honored to be invited by our master. Don''t be an idiot.

His father is the leader of the Crown Sect.

So, get your ass over there right now or..."

the middle-aged man threatened in a gradually raising voice.

As a warning, he released an overwhelming vital energy force and used it to envelop Austin and the

    girls from the beast race.
