Chapter 1511 Making The Rule
They stopped when they saw in front of them the endless hectares of primeval forests. Towering
ancient trees obscured the sunlight from above, making the Wild Herb Valley simr to some ce
from the archaic civilization.
It was filled with spiritual energy, spiraling around the vegetation.
The entrance was unkempt. The vines, thorns, and wild nts surrounded it, making it seemed like a
secluded area which had not been visited by any human for thousands of years.
While Austin was marveling at the spectacr sight of the entrance, other disciples from different sect
had already marched into the forest. They cut the wild vines in their way.
Austin reckoned that there were about a total eight thousand warriors who came to this valley with
them.
After entering the forest, all the warriors gathered together with their sect members. It was obvious that
they were keeping the distance from other sects. Tension from different sect weren''t avoided, and they
stared at each other, all alert.
Under the leadership of a disciple called Rahul, there were about fifty members from the me Holy
Land who also kept a certain distance from other sect. This was their way to avoid being raided.
There was a re-up of tension between different sects.
''''Everyone, may I have your attention, please?'''' a voice said.
Just at this moment, a young man in purple robe from the Arcane Holy Land spoke up. He was at his
sense of superiority.
He was at the premium stage of Emperor Realm.
''''I believe," he started, "we are all well aware of the fact that conflicts will inevitably ur in the process
of collecting herbs. That, of course, is not our intention. We have alle here to collect the precious
herbs, and not to pick up a fight.
We have already discussed this problem before on behalf of the Arcane Holy Land, the Vasteras Holy
Land, and the Rudimentary Holy Land.
To avoid such chaotic situation, we decided in agreement to make some rules for everyone and follow
our instructions."
People were in whispers as soon as he paused.
''What rules?'' they wondered.
The other disciples were also confused by his words.
''''We all know here that the Wild Herb Valley can be divided into three areas: the inner areas, the middle
areas, and the outer areas.
They are all separate and so are we.
So we decided, just at this moment, that different sect should collect herbs from different areas.
To be more specific, the disciples from the three holynds will collect herbs in the inner areas of the
forest.
Meanwhile, the disciples from first-rate sect and second-rate sect will collect herbs in the middle areas.
Lastly, for the other disciples, you can only collect herbs in the outer areas." People started to get
confused, but he continued, "As long as we all observe this rule, we will be able to collect herbs in an
orderly way and we are absolute that conflicts and causalities will be avoided."
The man from the Arcane Holy Land was slow in his tone, making sure that everyone from the vicinity
could hear him. But as soon as he finished speaking, all the disciples except the members of the three
holynds burst into an uproar.
''''What? That''s unfair for us!''''
The tension from different sects was reced with anger and bafflement.
It wasmon knowledge to all that the deeper they got into the Wild Herb Valley, the more valuable
and unusual herbs they would find.
They were sure that the inner areas are full of valuable herbspared with the middle and the outer
areas.
Majority of the herbs in the inner areas are priceless and inestimable.
However, it was obvious that the three holynds were plotting to take possession of all the valuable
herbs under the veil of this ''so-called rule'' they had announced.
Their actual greedy intention was obvious and the other disciples were not willing to ept such rule.
All the disciples from different sect had one thing in their minds - that they could march to the Wild Herb
Valley with the expectation to collect valuable herbs in the inner areas fairly.
Everyone was dissatisfied except the disciples from the three holynds. Of course, they should be
angered. The three holynds were only thinking for themselves. It was unfair because this rule
catered only the powerful. They discussed in whisper to show their indignation.
''''Hey!" Finally, a young man in the crowd, not part of the disciples from the three holynds, refuted.
"We will choose which area we''ll be collecting by ourselves here in Wild Herb Valley. The harvests of all
sectrgely depends on one''s fortune and ability, not by privileges.
Before we came here, there has never been such a rule that only the disciples of the three holynds
can enter the inner areas.
We do not agree with you. It is unfair!"
The young man looked genial and knowledgeable with a white jade fan in his right hand.
His cultivation base was at the middle stage of the Emperor Realm.
''''You bastard kid!" In the team of the Vasteras Holy Land, a man in yellow suddenly stood out.
He continued, "Who are you to judge and disagree with the decision made by our holynds?''''
His eyes were sharp and prating. He pointed to the face of that genial man and scolded him
harshly.
''''Oh, I remember you, Reed. You are from the Permanence Sect." He smirked, looking at Reed with
disgust. "You may be a genius in your sect, but you are nothing in my eyes.
As someone from a second-rate sect, where do you get that flimsy courage to make your judgments?"
He snorted, not giving any respect to that genial man.
"Fine!" he roared. "Let me give you an example on how big the difference between our powers so you
will quit your foolish and ignorant thoughts," the man from the Vasteras Holy Land snapped. His voice
was cold.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The man from Vasteras Holy Land reached out his right palm and swayed to the void, releasing
countless de aura.
In a sh, dozens ofs of dazzling de aura appeared in front of him.
''''Die!'''' he said in an apathetically toned voice.
Everyone around them kept silent. As for Reed, the courage he disyed a moment ago was now
reced by fear.
''''Forgive me, please," Reed said. "I''m begging you!'''' He fell on his knees and burst into screams.
All the des disappeared.
They thought the man from Vasteras Holy Land had forgiven Reed. Yet, a momentter, the des
had reappeared in front of the poor young man.
His begging, as everyone thought, was in vain. In a sh, the des moved at in incredibly speed
and strangled his body.
''''No!!" Reed could barely scream.
His body was strangled into pieces of flesh dusts like it was paper.
Reed was young man from the middle stage of Emperor Realm, yet he was killed within seconds by a
man from the Vasteras Holy Land, one of the three holynds.
He became the first one who lost his life in the Wild Herb Valley.
Death and silence filled the area as everyone stared at Reed''s body.
It was mere a verbal quarrel between sects and yet the man in yellow, from the Vasteras Holy Land,
killed people so cruelly only to prove the point that they were the most powerful and privileged force.
''''Wait," a disciple from the crowd spoke out in a low voice. "I-I think I know him. H-He''s Trey, a genius
from the Vasteras Holy Land! It is said that he has already grasped level two enlightening power of
de. He also ranked top ten among all their outer disciples.''''
His teeth were chattering in fear, so as the other disciples.
''''Okay!" Trey cleared his throat. "We have already announced the only rule for all of you, right? You
don''t want to cross with us. Or else..." He looked down at the man from middle the sect, or what was
left of him, with smirk on his face, then at the crowd.
He liked it when they feared him. So, with authority, he added, "Lesson number one. Never be too
greedy and covet the things which are beyond your abilities. You''d better take my piece of advice.
From now on, if other disciples dare enter the inner areas, no mercy will be shown, understood? This
conversation is over.
We''d better get going," he ended.
Trey turned around and headed to the inner areas with his team from the Vasteras Holy Land.
Together with the team members of the Arcane Holy Land and the Rudimentary Holy Land, they all
swarmed into the inner areas.
Before they left, they cast an eye of warning upon the rest of the disciples andughed.
''''Damn it!" one man from the lower sect reacted. "How dare they insult us like that and they take
possession of all the valuable herbs in the inner areas!''''
''''The rule is just good for themselves. It''s unfair for us!''''
After the disciples of the three holynds disappeared, the disciples from other sects began swearing
and shouting in exasperation.
''''Fuck!" another one said. "They are too cocky and overbearing!''''
Looking at the ce where the disciples of the three holynds disappeared, Austin, who was silently
