Chapter 1507 Three Kinds Of Powerful Martial Arts (Part Two)
After some more hugs and honeyed words with Caroline, Austin retreated back into his own hovel. It
was time to cultivate.
He sat down cross-legged in the middle of the room, and brought out three jade slips. They talked
about three forms of martial arts.
He had sifted through all possible jade slips in the library back at the base and had selected these
three atst. Although he had put a cursory nce over them, he was still not sure whether he had
made the right choice or not, and wanted to know if he had.
The first one of these was a fist skill, called the Mysterious Dragon Fist.
The second one was a swordsmanship--the Glorious Swordsmanship.
The third one was a body-refining form, named the Grand Body Refining Skill.
While making his choices, Austin had been careful to pick martial arts from different categories and of
various functions. He wanted to increase his arsenal in power, in range, and in function. Most of the
skills he knew for the moment were not strong enough to help him win a fight.
The most powerful thing he knew was the Dominant Spiritual Sense Swordsmanship and that was
bing old now.
What was more, his version of this swordsmanship was still iplete. He could only practice the first

half, but the second half was still unknown to him, which meant that there was no way for him to
improve this skill any further.
There was an added problem. From his past experiences, he had discovered that the skill had reached
its limit already. Having applied the skill in numerous battles, he had found that even at the peak
capabilities of this swordsmanship, it was only enough to finish off a warrior below the Semi-emperor
Realm. Anything more and there would be trouble.
The skill was far from enough for a warrior more powerful than that, especially to defeat those above
the Emperor Realm.
And since this was the most powerful weapon among his arsenal, and it had reached its limit, so all the
other skills he had, which were less impressive than this one, would obviously be of no use
whatsoever.
This meant that he was in desperate need of some new martial arts to equip himself with.
Having already mastered one half of a swordsmanship, he decided to pick up the jade slip of the
Glorious Swordsmanship first. This was rted to his most powerful skill and seemed like the obvious
ce to start. He began to read it with his spiritual sense, wanting to see what this new swordsmanship
could do that the old Dominant Spiritual Sense Swordsmanship could not.
It seemed disappointing on its face though. The Glorious Swordsmanship only had three moves in it.
However, inside those moves was terrible power. Simple as it seemed, when fully mastered, this
swordsmanship would enable the user to unleash sword auras full of a glorious and overwhelming
power. It was so truly powerful that at its peak, a cultivator could use the energy of the heavens and the
earth in every single one of his sword strike. This was a peak cultivation skill: beautiful, deadly, like an
angry stare from god himself.
Austin was fairly intrigued by this swordsmanship after quickly browsing through its effects and usage.
After all, he had mastered the level six sword potential, and was eager to find a swordsmanship that
could match his level. This seemed to be the one!
Next, he shifted his attention towards the fist skill, and drove his spiritual sense into the jade slip of the
Mysterious Dragon Fist.
In essence, the Mysterious Dragon Fist was what it sounded like--a kind of vital energy-fueled martial
art, which required the user to form streams of vital energy and then use them to fuel his strikes. The
vital energy would take the form of dragons because of the unique way in which it was controlled--
through dragon energy.
Obviously, the more vital energy a user could control and refine into the dragon energy, the more fuel
his fists would get, and the more powerful they would be. So one way of looking at it was that the
attack was rather primate, utilizing only vital energy to increase power.
However, there were eight different kinds of attacks in this fist skill, each of which was totally unique
and extremely violent.
At the same time, despite its formidable strength, its introduction also warned about the possible side
effects of using the skill. Even though the attack was rather powerful, its power came at the cost of
huge consumption of vital energy, since the user needed a great amount of vital energy to make the
dragon energy. And if one were to go by primitive weighing systems, then one joule of vital energy
would havended you nowhere!
This meant that for warriors with a weak or low cultivation base, or those whose vital energy was of
low-quality, the Mysterious Dragon Fist would actually turn into a poison, especially after they had
drained thest bit of their thin strands of vital energy and pushed themselves to the brink to use the
skill.
This was rather dangerous, because the vital energy was what guaranteed a warrior''s movements and
actions. If one ran it out, he would actually be unable to even move properly, let alone defend himself or
attack the enemy.
The upside was that Austin did not have to worry about this at all. With the help of the vital energy
stone embedded inside his body, he could simply store an enormous reserve beforehand and squander
it in the fight. In theory at least, this skill didn''t have a shoring as far as he was concerned.
"Wonderful! This Mysterious Dragon Fist is made just for me. I am definitely going to practice and
master it!"
He eximed in excitement.
Now, all fired up after the first two slips, Austin brought out the third jade slip of the Grand Body
Refining Skill with a lot of anticipation and began to explore it through his spiritual sense.
The Grand Body Refining Skill was of earth nature; it utilized the energy of the earth, and showed
earth-like capabilities. This meant that its fortey in its ability to withstand and shield the user from
strikes.
Like most of the treasures and skills of earth nature, it was made for defensive purposes.
When a warrior had mastered it, he could use it to form a thick and resilient armor of earth on the
surface of his body. That armor would get enhanced even further when the runes of the gods of earth,
which were embedded on it, shone. It was powerful enough to withstand even the most violent of
strikes from one''s enemies.
And finally, when a warrior had reached the top level of this form, he could give off a kind of
yellowish brown holy light, which would enhance his ability to attack, move, and inside him, enhance
the very fabrics that made his flesh on a cellr level.
This meant that the warrior''s physical capabilities alone would be boosted dozens of folds.
"Wow! This is crazy!"
Austin murmured in excitement. This beautiful piece of jade slip was making his blood boil. His physical
strength was already formidable and he was proud of it. To think that it would get enhanced by a dozen
times! Crazy!
"Damn it! This is certainly going to be one of my weapons soon. No kidding!" he rattled aloud with
determination.
