Chapter 1461 I''ll Call You Caroline
True to his promise to himself, Austin wouldn''t let initial failures get the better of him. He made a new
attempt at refining the omnipotent gas in the Omnipotent Pot.
Fortunately, things went well this time.
A manifestation of his hard work came about ten hourster when an old pot only as big as a soybean
appeared.
One couldn''t guess at first nce how special this pot was, for it had a simple pattern and even looked
like a vintage piece.
In truth, though, the pot had formidable power, having been formed through Austin''s spiritual sense and
the omnipotent gas.
Austin surmised that despite its size, the pot could shatter even the void.
"This pot is amazing!"
Austin eximed.
He took his amazement even further and with a curious smile, Austin said, "I''d like to hear what the
me Emperor has to say about this pot."
Withser-sharp focus, Austin was able to transport the pot into his Soul Sea.
However, the me Emperor screamed in horror upon its arrival!
His spiritual soul dashed into a corner and gaped at the sight of such a minuscule pot.
"What are you doing, you brat, huh? Are you trying to murder me?"
Austin was equally shocked and perplexed by the me Emperor''s reaction.
"Get it out of here! Quick! If I stay with this pot for a while, my soul will be destroyed."
The me Emperor almost begged Austin to do his bidding.
''Seriously? Is this pot so powerful that it can ruin his soul?''
Austin wondered in his mind.

It took him a few seconds to recover from his shock and to withdraw the tiny pot from his Soul Sea. He
then returned it in the Omnipotent Pot.
"What the hell is that pot, boy? I thought I was going to die if you didn''t take it away soon. I''m just a
soul, you know," the me Emperor said, patting his chest to calm himself down.
"I''ve never seen such a pot with a spiritual sense that''s stronger than mine."
"Really?" Austin couldn''t believe what he was hearing. "Yes, it''s too powerful," the me Emperor
confirmed.
"What was your cultivation base before you died?"
Austin asked.
"The premium stage of Emperor Realm."
The me Emperor still sounded exhausted even minutes after the pot was put away.
Austin''s face, meanwhile, lit up as he slowly realized what the incident meant.
"So, it goes without saying that this pot''s spiritual sense is more powerful than that of masters who
have reached the premium stage of Emperor Realm, correct?"
"Yes, so don''t put it into your Soul Sea again, unless you want to get me killed," the me Emperor
lightheartedly suggested.
The me Emperor wasn''t kidding, indeed.
Since he was just a soul now, his spiritual sense and energy had dropped to less than one-tenth of his
original.
"I''ll make a mental imprint of everything you just said," Austin assured.
''Okay, so there''s an enormous amount of omnipotent gas in the Omnipotent Pot. With my spiritual
sense, I could make a soybean-sized pot of omnipotent gas that holds incredible power.
I must work harder on my spiritual sense. When my spiritual sense gets stronger, I can integrate more
omnipotent gas into it and build more powerful spiritual weapons, '' Austin analyzed in his mind.
"I''ve got to get out of here now."
Austin had finally decided to leave the City model.
After all, he had been staying there for a dozen days.
But first, he must examine, using his spiritual sense, the happenings outside of the City model.
He tried to find any sign of that beast rider who chased him, to no avail. ''He probably left, '' Austin
thought.
Finally, Austin transported himself out of the City model
and ended up at the bottom of a ditch with a depth of four or five hundred meters.
When he became certain there was no one nearby, Austin darted through the sky and levitated mid-air.
He scanned the area below him, as if he had a built-in high-definition panoramic lens, and had a clear
view of deep pits and ditches, myriads of them.
The river, which was several hundred meters wide, was gone. Austin assumed that a part of it, the
upper reaches to be exact, was moved somewhere else.
A messy and dry riverbed reced the river.
''That beast rider must''ve gone crazy and angry for failing to find me. But why did he have to destroy the
river? Oh, poor thing, '' Austin thought.
Out of the blue, a series of deafening sounds set off from a distance.
The earth shook and vibrated as if it was weeping over the bloody battles that were taking ce on its
surface.
Austin searched for the source of the sound and found it came from the old pce.
''The people of the Vasteras Holy Land and the Sikong n are still fighting over treasures? Really?
Haven''t twenty days passed? They''ve got to be kidding me, '' Austin thought.
Nheless, Austin understood why those people wouldbat each other for days on end. The old
mansion was where the Dragon Immortal–an Immortal Transforming Realm great master–once lived.
''Rare, priceless items are at stake. All the strong cultivators of the East Maind would rush here as
soon as they find out, '' he further pondered.
Austin fixed his gaze towards the direction of the old pce. Then, he trod on the path opposite it.
''Let them have all of the old pce''s treasures; I''m too weak to fight them. Besides, the Omnipotent
Pot is already in my possession. What more do I need?
It''s the most priceless treasure of the East Maind.
No one can find out I have it, or it''ll be the end of me, '' he mused some more.
Four days after activating the Diabolic shing Skill, Austin left the ck-wind Beast World.
He surveyed the space and found a busy town.
At that moment, Austin received a spiritual massage in his Soul Sea.
"Austin! Let me out of here. It''s so boring in the City model,"
she pleaded to him through her spiritual sense.
Austin heeded her call and transported her out.
Caroline couldn''t help gushing at the sight of Austin. She lowered her head in an attempt to avoid his
gaze.
Austin chuckled upon seeing Caroline''s reaction.
"Listen. From now on, I''ll call you... Caroline.
What do you say?" Austin asked, with a hint of a smile.
"Fine," Caroline replied, and she still wouldn''t look straight at Austin.
Her answer came softer than a whisper; it was almost like a gentle breeze that tingled his ears.
"Let''s go to that town." Austin pointed ahead. It sounded more of an order than an invitation.
He went ahead without waiting for her reply or looking at her.
"Did he just smile?
Was heughing at me?
Ugh! He''s so annoying!"
Caroline turned even redder while talking to herself.
She stamped her feet out of sheer exasperation before catching up with Austin.
Caroline had been a mixed bag of confusion, anxiety, and expectation since she confessed her love to
Austin.
That one embrace she gave him, and the way he pretended as if nothing happened, made Caroline
feel desperate to know if he felt the same way.
Yet Austin became a puzzle to her, acting cool and indifferent once, then a little thoughtful the next.
Austin saw everything that Caroline was doing through his spiritual sense and smiled again.
As they got into town, the two blended with the sea of people, mostly cultivators who went by their
respective undertakings.
Austin and Caroline wandered down a street for a bit before settling into a tavern. They booked a table
and ordered food.
The duo couldn''t eat in silence, though, as they could hear cultivators chitchatting loudly over drinks.
Dragon Immortal''s mansion in the ck-wind Beast World was a hot topic, with the cultivators getting
so fascinated about it showing up so suddenly.
It had be the most explosive news in the East Maind.
Multitudes of strong cultivators from the three holynds and the three prominent ns had already
trooped to the old pce.
Besides them, the cultivators sent by the top sects and the royal family were on their way to Dragon
Immortal''s mansion for treasures.
Certainly, no one in the East Maind would pass up on the chance to take the most precious items
inside that residence and be given high regard for their treasure-hunting agility.
Thepetition of sorts had be stiff.
Word got out that the old mansion upied a vast, almost immeasurable area.
Austin and Caroline had nheless enjoyed the nonstop tittle-tattle.
They found it shocking to hear from the cultivators themselves how the Immortal Transforming Realm
great master''s mansion became a tempting, if not, dangerous quest.
Austin and Caroline got out of the tavern fully loaded, both thanks to the great food and the valuable
stories they had incidentally collected.
"Hey, guys! There you are.
I was just about to look for you, and here you showed up like you heard my call."
An enchanting and cheerful young woman suddenly paced towards Austin and Caroline.
It was Belle.
