    So, Austin walked towards the edge of the crater and peered down. Darkness swelled before him like a


    hungry mouth, waiting for him to fall in. He gulped and stabilized his body for a second time. Clutching


    tightly onto the jagged sides, he slowly descended into the steep crater.


    Several minutester, Austin was now floating somewhere deeper than before. He looked upward at


    the circle of light that immediately tempted him to return to the surface. He must have traveled six


    hundred meters in depth. He stomach turned as silence pressed down on him.


    He could feel, like blood rushing through his veins, a wave of energy hit him. It was warm but the


    feeling of stillness afterwards sent chills cascading down his spine. It felt more intense than it had


    before. He waited for the vital energy force and palm intents to attack him, standing with his legs


    spread and his arms at his sides.


    Boom! Boom! Boom!


    Before he could react, a powerful vital energy force had begun to fly towards Austin like a tsunami,


    roaring and surging. He flinched and covered his face with his arms. Terrified, he could not think of


    what he could do to stop the attack.


    As he panicked, thousands of palms created by vital energy force started attacking him from all


    directions. He felt squeezed and squished as they wrapped around him like a boa constrictor.


    Austin could not breathe. He felt like a helpless boat on a stormy sea. Waves were thrashing against


    him, drowning him as he struggled to lift his head and find air.


    Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!


    Through the struggling, Austin remembered something. When he had been in his Soul Sea, he had


    learned to release his Dominant Spiritual Sense Swordsmanship. It might be long shot but he was


    running out of options.


    So, referring to his previous skills, he transformed the Ancient Dragon Sword in his hand into a white,


    giant dragon that wrapped around him, protecting him from being struck by the immense vital energy.


    Able to breathe again, his skills started to pour back into his head. He knew what he had to do.


    With the dragon still protecting him, he found and sent his demonic avatar towards the forces he was


    battling. It flew towards the waves and palms and obliterated half of them.


    Despite all of his defenses, Austin was still being constantly hurt. His knees buckled and a cry ripped


    through his lips.


    The vital energy down there shed him and he fell backwards. His body hit the wall of the crater hard


    and all air left his lungs.


    Austin lifted his head and examined his body as his defenses battled on without him, protecting him


    momentarily from further harm. There were several gashes in his skin, all of them dripping with blood.


    The pain was intense and he struggled to stand again. Luckily, he had been trained to be strong and


    had always been more resilient in battle than other warriors that were at the same level as him.


    He felt around in his Space Ring until he pulled out a small bottle. His eyes scanned over the words


    "Magic Sea Water". Feeling ted, he quickly swallowed half the bottle. Momentster, all the wounds


    on his body stopped oozing and turned pink. The pain subsided.


    Austin pushed himself to his feet, and with a battle cry, he continued fighting with a newfound


    determination. He fought bravely for hours until he had defeated his enemy. It took half a day for him to


    find peace.


    Austin recollected his sword and demonic avatar and took a deep breath. The darkness around him


    now seemed eerily calming.


    With his mind and body rxed, he could begin the next step. In order to gain knowledge of the


    enlightening power, he would have to meditate.


    Austin took another deep breath and sat in the center of the space. He knew that this was the ideal


    spot to achieve the most information about the enlightening power and he wanted to get out of the

    felt more full, as he always did after gaining a new power.

    However, something did not feel right. Even after ten days of meditation and having gained a deeper


    understanding of the enlightening power, there were still holes that needed to be filled. He tried


    summoning the power but nothing happened.

    Since I cannot gain any more training from this ce, I must travel further into the crater. Hopefully, I


    will find my answers there. Geez...this ce is creepy.''''


    With a shiver, Austin approached the edge of the crater once again. He found handholds and ced


    his feet precariously on centimeter wide ledges. As he descended, rays from the light above him faded.
