Chapter 1415 Three Days Later
Godwin, Peter, and Julius were still reeling from the recent revtion. The three of them had just
learned the old man before their eyes was the exact same man who set up the Magic Hand Sect
hundreds of years ago.
Upon learning this, they gazed upon Angus with eyes that bore both respect and fear.
The truth was that even for the three of them, Angus was a senior cultivator.
Back in those days, Angus became well known in the South Continent due to his impable art of pill-
refining and his powerful vital energy force cultivation base. Godwin, Peter, and Julius had still been
mere youngsters at the time.
Later, Angus started the Magic Hand Sect all by himself. The sect became one of the top fiverge
sects in the Heavenly Dragon Holy Kingdom under his care.
Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse after that. Lyman, a disciple of Angus'', suddenly turned
against him. A wisp of his soul managed to escape to the Mysterious Nether World and survive there.
After that, Angus was not seen again in the South Continent.
It was only five hundred yearster that the youngsters Godwin, Peter, and Julius grew up to be
the top powerful cultivators in the South Continent. All three of them were now at the Semi-emperor
Realm.
And yet, the three were unable to hold back their surprise at Angus'' name.
It took a while before the three regained theirposure. Clearing their throats, Godwin, Peter, and
Julius turned to Angus and began to speak, their voices carrying the great respect they had for the
famed cultivator.
"You''re Angus, the well-known pill refiner from long ago... The man was known all throughout the South
Continent... Sir, we deeply apologize for our earlier disrespect.
Belongs to (N)?vel/Drama.Org.
Please forgive us, Sir."
Godwin bowed low before Angus, giving him a proper polite greeting this time.
Julius and Peter followed suit, stepping forward and bowing to Angus with great respect.
The sudden change in their behavior took Angus by surprise. It took a few moments before he realized
Austin must have revealed his identity to the three of them.
"Sir, the three elders are all from our side and can be trusted,"
said Austin confidently to Angus.
"Very well," Angus said.
Austin''s words were a cause of great relief to him. This was a man he could trust, and if he said the
three could be trusted, then Angus would believe him.
"There is no need for such formalities.
My current cultivation base now is not as high as yours. As such, I can''t ept so much respect from
you,"
Angus told Godwin and the other two, sighing.
Godwin shook his head at these words. "Sir Angus, please don''t say such things. Hundreds of years
ago, when you were the top one in the South Continent, Peter, Julius, and I were only in our twenties.
We were only young, and were nothing more than ordinary cultivators.
In our eyes, Sir Angus, you will always be an elder worthy of respect, now and forever,"
Godwin responded immediately.
Before Angus could reply, Peter joined in the conversation. "Wait just a minute," he interjected. "I just
remembered something, Sir Angus. Hundreds of years ago, the Magic Hand Sect announced that you
had passed away due to unexpected circumstances during your cultivation.
So how can you be here all of a sudden, Sir?"
He was unable to keep himself from asking the question. Peter was the type of man who always said
whatever was on his mind, no matter what the situation was.
Hearing this, both Godwin and Julius turned to look at Angus with curiosity in their eyes.
"Sir Angus, allow me to tell them,"
said Austin.
Angus looked at him for a moment before nodding his head. It was as in as the eye could see that
Austin, Godwin, Peter, and Julius were all very close, and the other three could surely be trusted.
With Angus'' approval, Austin then began to tell them what Angus had been through.
"It was Lyman who did it!" Austin eximed, unable to keep the emotion from his voice.
"It waspletely unexpected. All those times, Lyman always acted like such a gentleman. No one
could have thought that he wasing up with an evil plot behind everyone''s back. He tried to kill his
only master!"
As they listened the whole story, Godwin, Peter and Julius gritted their teeth in frustration and fury.
They were unable to keep themselves from cursing Lyman with hatred.
The story made thempletely furious. How could Lyman do such a thing to Angus?!
"Let''s head straight to the Magic Hand Sect right now! We''ll tear him into pieces for this!
Lyman must pay for what he did to Sir Angus!"
roared Peter, the anger clear in the tone of his voice.
"I agree," said Julius with a nod. "Austin, bring the A.L. Army together with us. We''re heading to the
Magic Hand Sect immediately."
He was about to leave at once when he was suddenly stopped by Godwin.
"Wait just a moment.
Let''s not be rash and cool our heads. I have an idea,"
said Godwin, his expression serious.
"An idea? Well, what is it?"
Julius, Peter, and Austin were all looking at Godwin in confusion, unsure about what he meant.
Having caught their attention, Godwin began to exin. "In three days, Lyman will be holding a
ceremony where he will appoint a new disciple."
He paused for a moment to look at them and continued, "It''s said this new disciple a talented young
man. At the mere age of eighteen, he is already a fifth level pill refiner.
He performed so excellently in thest pill refiningpetition that he was unanimously crowned as
the champion.
Lyman liked him so much that he immediately offered to be the young man''s master."
As Godwin spoke, the others leaned in closer to listen to his words eagerly. Pleased to have their
attention, Godwin continued. "To show the importance of this, Lyman has invited various sect leaders
and n leaders to attend the ceremony," he said.
"I received the invitation to the event yesterday.
I think it would be better if we can go to the Magic Hand Sect in three days, on the day of the
ceremony. Firstly, we''ll be able to get our revenge on Lyman. Secondly, we can expose Lyman''s secret
about what he did to Sir Angus right in front of so many important people.
Isn''t this a better idea?"
said Godwin with a smile.
"Yes! It''s definitely a better n!"
Peter agreed immediately.
Austin and Julius nodded their heads, showing their approval to Godwin''s proposal.
The event was nned by Lyman himself, a grand ceremony to be attended by people from all sects
and ns to celebrate his new disciple.
It was truly a good opportunity, so good that it was like it was being handed to them on a silver tter.
"Very well then. Master, we will proceed ording to your n.
In three days, we will be going to the Magic Hand Sect. We''ll let all the cultivators see what kind of
person Lyman truly is!"
Austin dered.
All this time, Angus had stood quietly beside the four of them, having kept his silence during their
conversation.
However, he now opened his mouth to speak.
"Austin," he said, "Lyman is currently at the Semi-emperor Realm. Not only that, but the Magic Hand
Sect is also under his control.
I think we should think this n through and make sure we''re fully prepared before we carry it out.
Don''t be too hasty in doing this.
If we fail and are unable to defeat them, we might be captured by Lyman instead of taking revenge."
The concern in Angus'' tone was obvious as he spoke.
"Ha ha ha! Sir Angus, there is no need to worry.
As long as Austin is there, even if there are ten Lyman - or no, even twenty, they''ll all be defeated
easily!"
said Peter confidently,ughing out loud.
"What do you mean?
Austin is only at the Primal Holy Realm..."
Angus blinked, looking confused at Peter''s words.
"Ha ha! Sir Angus, please trust us," said Godwin reassuringly. "As long as we have Austin, we can
surely defeat Lyman and the whole Magic Hand Sect. Please don''t worry yourself about this."
He wore a smile on his face simr to Peter''s as he spoke.
Of course, their statements were true. Just recently, during the fight in the Mysterious Sky City, Austin
alone had killed nearly forty demon semi-emperors all by himself.
It was only natural that Austin could easily defeat Lyman, a cultivator at the Semi-emperor Realm, as
well.
"Austin... What is REALLY going on..."
The expression Angus wore as he looked at Austin was one of true puzzlement. He was suddenly at a
loss about the current situation.
After all, Austin was only at the Primal Holy Realm. Normally, he was as weak as an ant when
And yet, as Angus heard Peter, Julius, and Godwin''s confident words and saw their carefree
expressions, he realized they were not joking at all. They meant every single word they said.
A strange feeling settled in the pit of Angus'' stomach.
Was there a secret he did not know? Were they keeping something from him?
"Ha ha. Sir Angus, please rx," said Austin with a reassuring smile. "After three days, we will set off
for the Magic Hand Sect.
Trust me. I''m going to defeat Lyman."
He offered no exnation for his words. Angus could only stare at him in disbelief.
"Very well, then," Angus conceded.
"I believe in you, Austin.
Now that you have made your decision, we will go and see Lyman in three days!"
In the end, Angus had no choice but to agree with them, nodding his head in approval at their n.
Despite his concerns, Austin''s, Godwin''s, Peter''s, and Julius'' confidence made him feel less anxious.
Even if he couldn''t even begin to fathom how Austin, someone merely at the Primal Holy Realm, could
be so confident about being able to defeat Lyman, Angus believed that the four wouldn''t lie to him.
After this, Austin then took Angus and the other three to the peak where Master Li resided. First, they
had to find a ce for Angus to live in.
As they went, Austin sent a spiritual sense message to rk, requesting that he would send his men to
keep an eye on the Magic Hand Sect.
He also advised rk to prepare to head for the Magic Hand Sect in three days alongside all the
members of the A.L. Army.
''Lyman, it''s time for you to pay for what you did to Angus!''
thought Austin, his sharp gaze filled with a burning hatred.
