Chapter 1413 Pursuit Of Martial Arts

Chapter 1413 Pursuit Of Martial Arts

The journey didn''tst too long and very soon, Austin and Angus reached an empty room which was so

vast that it might have easily extended a dozen miles.

This room, was located on the third floor of the Emperor Library.

A faded portrait was hanging on the wall and one could barely make out its subject: a middle-aged man

with a graceful appearance and a noble-featured face. He was standing in the picture, with hands on

his back, and there was a deep and sharp look in his eyes. However, this was no mere painting. It was,

what one might call a doorway of sorts.

"Can this painting get us to the me Emperor?"

Angus asked, as he looked at the picture on the wall with a curious expression.

Austin merely nodded in confirmation without saying a word, and then used his spiritual sense to

    activate the painting.

Just as Angus was looking at the painting and about to say how dpidated it was, optical waves

emitted from it and flew towards them.

Then, a ck dot appeared in the middle of the picture. It began to grow bigger by the minute and very

soon, it had formed a ck whirlpool.

Austin calmly stepped into the center of the whirlpool and Angus followed pursuit.

    The two of them were instantly transported;

within the span of a second, they found themselves standing in a vast, green, and fresh-lookingwn.

    "Ha-ha.

Austin, is that really you? Of course it is you!"

They could see that a man was striding towards them with a warm pace. He was dressed in ming red

robes and looked powerful despite his friendly appearance.

    He was the me Emperor.

As soon as Austin had entered the Emperor Library, the me Emperor had sensed his presence and

    he had been expecting him.

"Oh, and Angus is here too. Good. It has been quite a while since west met, huh?

    Hang on?

You even rebuilt your physical body? Damn!

And shit I''m so envious of you," the me Emperor greeted Angus.

He had noticed that Angus had risen from the dead and had also noticed the prime condition he was in.

There was an obviously envious tone in his voice.

To be frank, Angus had also looked forward to remodeling his body, and the me Emperor himself

was eager toe back to life too.

But Angus had beaten him to it and had also upgraded his body.

"Oh, there is no need to get jealous, or even envious. I am sure you too wille back from the dead

    one day, and pretty soon,"

Angus assured him with a genuine smile.

Even though the me Emperor and he hadn''t been on the best of terms initially, and had also fought

with each other, they had made amends and be good friends after knowing what they two had

    been through.

    "Hello, me Emperor,"

Austin greeted the emperor, making his way towards him with a happy pace.

"Ho-ho! You have already broken through into the Primal Holy Realm from the Sky Realm within just

three years. Looks like I was wrong.

    I underestimated your talent, didn''t I?

It turns out you really are an exceptional genius when ites to martial arts.

You know, very few people are as talented as you are, even on the Divine Continent where I lived. And

I wouldn''t be surprised if I bet that you are the best martial artist on the Prime Martial World and won

    that!

I have an intuition that you can help me restore my physical body." The me Emperor was practically

    gushing.

He was pleasantly surprised and delighted to find that Austin had reached the Primal Holy Realm.

"Judging by his performance and the pace at which he has made progress over thest few years, he

is indeed a rare and talented cultivator. I don''t suppose anyone would ever believe that a Sky Realm

cultivator entered the Primal Holy Realm in such a short span of time..." Angus also praised the young

    man.

He had reacted exactly like the me Emperor had done when he had first found out about Austin''s

    cultivation base.

"But, on a serious note, Austin. Are you sure that you want to leave for the Divine Continent with me?

What I mean to say is, your family, friends, masters, andrades are all here. Can you really bear the

thought of leaving them behind and going to such a farawaynd?" the me Emperor asked, staring

    Austin in the eye.

His tone had also turned serious with the topic.

This was the thing he cared about the most.

The biggest wish he had, was to return to the Divine Continent, restore his physical body, and finally

get the revenge he had been waiting for since hundreds of years ago.

    "Rest assured, me Emperor.

I have aspired to be an excellent martial artist all my life. To achieve that, I resolved to spend my whole

life cultivating, and ovee all difficulties I encounter along the way. I want to reach the summit of

    martial arts.

The Prime Martial World is my home, true.

But it is a backward ce. It''s not bad per se, but it''s also not a good ce for ambitious cultivators.

There isn''t an abundant source of spiritual energy, and luck over there. And there are very few

profound martial arts skills we can learn over there.

Staying there would only hold me back.

So yeah, I am sure that I want to leave this ce and cultivate in a superior world.

And the Divine Continent seems a suitable enough choice.

In fact, my mind is already made up. Even if you hadn''t asked me to apany you there, I would

have found a way to get there on my own.

After I take care of matters here, I''ll definitely go to the Divine Continent with you,"

Austin replied in a determined tone.

He had now made it clear to the me Emperor that he was serious about his pursuits of martial arts.

And not just basics of the craft, but the very pinnacle of its mastership.

"Good, good. That''s very good to hear.

Ha-ha. Now I have nothing to worry about," the me Emperor gushed once again.

He could tell by his tone that Austin wasn''t lying to him.

"I never expected you to be such a strong-willed cultivator.

I''m very d to hear that you''re determined about your destination.

And you are right. The Prime Martial World is a low-grade world and while it is great for learning the

basics, but it will have a very negative impact if someone wants to go on to the top-grade skills.

Austin, you''re a very promising young man and you''re destined to travel to a superior world. You''re

    destined for greatness."

Angus voiced out his thoughts, nodding approvingly at Austin''s determined statement.

"All right. It''s time to get out of here.

Hang on a minute... You are just a soul, aren''t you? How are you going to leave this ce?"

    Austin enquired.

The way of the world was that a cultivator''s spiritual soul couldn''t exist in the Real Space for a long time

after leaving the Soul Sea. It would fade and vanish!

The Soul Sea, however could nourish the souls that stayed inside it and they could live on. Once the

cultivator''s soul got out of it, the energy inside it would ebb away slowly until it vanished into thin air.

That was not to say it was impossible for them to exit the soul sea. A few methods did exist to prevent

these souls from fading into thin air even after exiting the Soul Sea. They could either be kept in

containers with some arcane spells or magic treasures that had the power to nourish them or in certain

environments which made it possible, they could exist for a longer period of time than usually possible.

Austin was aware of the fact that the ce where the me Emperor had been living until now was a

special space which could nourish his soul for a long time. That was how his soul hadn''t ended up

    faded by now.

That was also the case with Angus. His spiritual soul had also survived a few hundred years in the

    valley.

But once the me Emperor''s spiritual soul left this special space, Austin was worried that he would

perish soon, vanishing into thin air and disappearing without a trace.

The Emperor, however, had a n!

"Oh, don''t worry. I can enter your Soul Sea. I''ll be safe as long as I stay inside,"

the me Emperor assured him with augh.

"Hey yeah, you''re right. Why didn''t I think of that?" Austin remarked, his face lighting up.

''The guy''s right. Once he enters my Soul Sea, it will replenish him and he won''t fade out due to energy

    loss.''

"You n to enter Austin''s Soul Sea?"

Angus murmured with a stunned look at the me Emperor. This was unexpected!

"Oh no, no. Don''t look at me that way. I know why you''re so concerned.

Rest easy. It won''t hurt him. I will give him an orb of my spiritual soul

That way, if at any point of time, I do try to hurt him, he could stop me instantly," the me Emperor

    exined tly.

To be blunt, he waspletely dependent on Austin for fulfilling his wishes right now. What was more,

    he fully trusted him.

Therefore, he didn''t mind putting his lifepletely in Austin''s hands.
