Chapter 1389 Leading The Southern Alliances Army
"Commander Austin, our visit today is in regards to the future of South Continent. Our very safety
depends on the sess of our talks today."
Suddenly, a tall, middle aged man, who had a full forehead and looked kingly in appearance stood up
and looked at Austin.
This man was Tierry, the leader of the Heavens Sect of the Purple Phoenix Holy Kingdom. He was a
blessed and aplished cultivator who had already stepped into the premium stage of Semi-emperor
Realm.
That way, he was now, among the mightiest warriors of the South Continent; he enjoyed the same level
of power as Tristan, who had been the chief leader of the Southern Alliances Army and waster killed
by Austin.
Such high rank allowed him to enjoy quite a few privileges in the South Continent.
"What do you mean, your safety depends on it?"
Austin was utterly confused. Surely, things weren''t that bleak without him!
"Thanks to you, more than thirty demon semi-emperors were killed in the battle of the Mysterious Sky
City. I think it won''t be doing anyone an injustice if we said that it was your actions which turned the
scales in our favor.
Only because of you, did we manage to keep heart and kill hundreds of demon race warriors.
However, most of them are still around in the South Continent, and have taken over a vast number of
Moreover, the Heaven Pce which colluded with the demon race in that war is still in possession of
the Triangle Zone. They are also a potential threat to us.
We have conferred together and we all believe that we need to put in a persistent amount of effort in
order topletely destroy the remnants of the demon race in the South Continent, as well as the
Heaven Pce in the Triangle Zone!"
Tierry replied in a loud and clear voice.
"Tierry is right!"
"Tierry''s saying the right thing, mind you! We need to be alert and on the lookout for danger even in the
times of safety. The only way to true safety is throughplete annihtion of those demons!"
"Absolutely, I second it too!"
Austin could see that every single sect-leader and n-leader was in agreement with Tierry; as they
should have been. The guy was right.
"I see. I agree with you Tierry."
Austin could see how important getting rid of those demons was.
"Now, as we all know, the previous leader of our Southern Alliances Army was Tristan. Focus on ''was'',
because he was killed by Commander Austin for his uwful and unnecessary persecution of the A.L.
Army.
Right now, we are flying solo without a leader. Which means we need to find a new leader for
ourselves. It has to be someone who leads us in battle and helps us destroy the remaining demon
warriors as well as those idiots in the Heaven Pce.
I rmend Commander Austin as our next leader.
What do you guys think?"
Tierry continued and asked everyone there in a loud and clear voice.
"Now hang on a second... You mean, you want me to lead the Southern Alliances Army?"
Austin was a little stunned by the proposal. He would have thought that they would want his help in
battle, not in leadership.
"Yes Commander Austin. We are sure that you are the right person for the job; and I personally think
there is no one more suited than you,"
Tierry replied with a smile.
"He''s right. Commander Austin is most suited for the job." One of the leaders echoed and the others
followed suit.
"I don''t believe in anyone except Commander Austin. Let him lead us."
"Commander Austin, we hope that you will not refuse. We will be extremely disappointed if you don''t
feel the same way about the post..."
"We couldn''t have hoped to win that battle in the Mysterious Sky City if it were not for your gant
performance. You defined that victory for us!"

The other leaders were bing more and more excited and at the prospect of what Tierry had
proposed.
Almost everyone in the gathering fully agreed that Austin should be the new leader of the
Southern Alliances Army.
Austin, however, was hesitant for a moment.
To be honest, he did not want to be the leader of any army.
Because being the "leader" meant a lot of work. The very title came with a lot of Gordian knots to untie.
"Master..."
Austin turned towards Godwin in his helpless indecision.
"Ha-ha, it seems like you are winning the vote by andslide. So, I guess the only thing left to do is for
you to decide it yourself,"
Godwin replied with a chuckle.
"Commander Austin, please do not refuse our request. And if you are worried, please be at ease. We
promise you that as our leader, you will have our full support and cooperation,"
Tierry promised, trying to put his mind at ease.
"Yes, don''t worry. We will all obey yourmand without questioning."
Other people also assured Austin in a firm tone.
To be honest, Austin was invincible right now. Add his arrogance, cruelty, and dominating nature to his
power, and you got a package that everyone was inplete awe of.
Therefore, no one was brave enough topete with him for any position.
And if such considerations weren''t enough to deter someone from doing so, there was also the fact that
their previous leader had been killed by Austin.
So no one was willing to go the trouble of risking himself just for the post of leader.
In a nutshell, Austin''s decision had already been made for him by everyone else.
"I get it. All right, you guys, I ept your proposition. I''ll try my best to be a good leader to you all."
Without further hesitation, Austin agreed.
After epting the offer, they discussed what they should do next. Right now, Austin immediately
formed a team and briefed them on a n to destroy the remaining warriors of the demon race and the
Heaven Pce.
In the end, they all agreed to gather in the Mysterious Sky City after two days and then begin their n
of action.
Once they had made their n, the sect leaders and the patriarchs took Austin''s leave and went to
prepare for the battle.
As for Austin, he was with his two fiancees and friends, which included Mike, Even, Herbert, Tessa, and
Michelle; and he spent the following two days in the ce where Master Li lived by himself. Master Li
was a powerful cultivator who had taken up solitary residence to focus on himself.
Barker also stayed there with his daughter Dahlia and her maid for two days. It was a really good
vacation for them.
Two days passed by like two hours and it was time to go.
After transferring tens of thousands of soldiers of the A.L. Army into the City model, Austin himself
headed to the Mysterious Sky City.
Godwin, Julius, Peter, and the queen also went with him as his close friends, masters, and loved ones.
The journey took half a day since not everyone could travel as fast as Austin, and finally, they arrived in
the Mysterious Sky City.
Every single warrior of the Southern Alliances Army had also been gathered on one ce by that time,
ready to fight the demons and protect their homnd.
The army wasn''t alone this time. The sects and ns of the Heavenly Dragon Holy Kingdom had sent
out their troop to aid the Mysterious Sky City in their battle. The demon race was a collective enemy
and its intrusion wasn''t going to be tolerated by anyone.
Right now, the Southern Alliances Army had a total of seven hundred thousand members.
Of these soldiers, those who could be ssified as ''strong cultivators'', that was, those at the Semi-
emperor Realm were about forty in number.
These forty people were also the most influential figures of the Southern Alliances Army.
Each of them was in charge of a different affair and they carried out their duties with due diligence and
precision.
Austin himself was the leader and therefore, responsible for managing the overall situation.
To aid the city further, he also transferred the A.L. Army out of the City model when he arrived at the
Mysterious Sky City. Now, they had be a really formidable force to be reckoned with.
With the addition of his own army, the total number of the human soldiers was near eight hundred
thousand now.
When this troop gathered in the Mysterious Sky City, the crowd was so dense that a bird''s eye view of
the city would have only granted you densely packed heads.
After a rough head-count, Austin waved his hands toward this troop.
Immediately, as if in response to some unseen leash being pulled, the soldiers flew into the sky of the
South Continent and were gone.
Everywhere they went, all of time and space was left rumbling in shock.
They were going to initiate the first step of Austin''s n, which was to retrieve the countries that had
been captured by the demon race.
The number of such hostile takeovers was about fifty and they all needed to be taken back. The
demons needed to be robbed of every possible stronghold.
Some time ago, Austin had already dispatched the A.L. Army to retrieve about thirty of those countries,
so around ten of them were already in the process of retrieval.
As for the demons, they had only left thirty or forty thousand soldiers in each country to guard it,
thinking that such a number was enough in their arrogance.
When faced with such a small scale force, it was extremely easy for the Southern Alliance Army to win
the battle. They had been gathered under one banner and it''s well-known what a united army can do.
So it took Austin only about ten days to retrieve the remaining ten countries from the demon''s hold.
This was a major victory for the human race.
Now, every single human country had been retrieved and they were free. Their sovereignty had been
gifted back to them.
And the entire presence of the demon race had been destroyed.
Three dayster, once everyone rested properly, Austin took a mighty army and headed into the
Triangle Zone.
They all knew that it was the final battlefield! Complete victory waited them on the other side.
