Chapter 1308 The Sword Treasure-house

    Chapter 1308 The Sword Treasure-house

Very soon, more than 200, 000 of Austin''s people were settledfortably in the imperial capital city of

    the Jade Kingdom.

They had had a long journey, so after telling everyone to get some rest, Austin took his leave and went

    to his temporary house.

Though the lodgings were temporary, it was still quite arge and magnificent house withfortable

    rooms and soft decor.

"Master, are you sure that The Jade Kingdom is where the Sword Emperor left behind his Sword

    Treasure-house?"

    Violet asked Austin.

"Of course. I know it to be true because the Sword Emperor embedded the map of the Sword

    Treasure-house into my Soul Sea.

Later, when I carefully examined the topography of the Jade Kingdom earlier today, I found it was

almostpletely identical to that in my Soul Sea. Coincident? I think not.

That''s how I''m so sure the Sword Treasure-house is in the Jade Kingdom,"

    Austin answered.

Since his men looked tired, and there was no knowing what turmoily ahead, Austin gave his troops

oneplete day in the Jade Kingdom so that they could refresh themselves. But that was only one

part of his motive behind that decision.

    He had another purpose too.

It was the specific location of the Sword Treasure-house, which was located somewhere in the Jade

    Kingdom.

He had acquired a treasure which was a statue of the Sword Emperor in the Sunset Mountain of the

    Heavenly Dragon Holy Kingdom.

And as the statues of famous and powerful personalities were supposed to be, it too possessed an

extraordinary property. There was a wisp of the Sword Emperor''s will inside it.

This wisp of will had taught a lifetime''s worth of insights about swordsmanship that the Sword Emperor

had gained to Austin. And if that weren''t enough, it had also taught him three sets of sword skills.

It was this wisp of will that had told Austin that the Sword Emperor had left a pce in the Prime Martial

World. And this pce was exactly what Violet was asking about—The Sword Treasure-house.

To help Austin navigate through that pce, the will had filled his Soul Sea with a map of the Sword

    Treasure-house.

And while they were busy chasing demons in the Jade Kingdom, Austin had noticed that weirdly, the

terrain of the Kingdom was exactly the same as the terrain in the map of the Sword Treasure-house.

The odds of two pieces ofnd following the exact same topography were thin, even in a world as big

    as today.

Violet had a few doubts though. "Master, didn''t you tell me that the Sword Emperor asked you not to

enter the Sword Treasure-house until your cultivation base had reached the Primal Holy Realm?

I don''t mean to be disrespectful or anything, but you are currently at the medium stage of Heaven

    Realm.

Even if you do find the Sword Treasure-house in the Jade Kingdom, aren''t you afraid of the danger you

might be in if you ventured in there too early?" she asked.

"Ha-ha, Violet, you are right. I have reached only the medium stage of Heaven Realm, but you''re

    forgetting one important thing.

My body can merge with my demonic avatar.

And in that state, I am much more powerful. In fact, I can certainly say that I have the same strength as

a demon emperor, who, by the way, is far more powerful than a cultivator at the Primal Holy Realm.

So, I think I am fully capable of entering the Sword Treasure-house now,"

Austin was confident in his abilities.

    "Fair enough."

Violet nodded after a moment''s pause. Come to think of it, Austin was right.

If his body merged with his demonic avatar, he was as powerful as a demon emperor. And a demon

emperor could have easily killed a Primal Holy Realm cultivator.

Later, Austin sent a message to the queen through his spiritual sense, telling her that he wanted to

explore the kingdom in an effort to find the Sword Treasure-house.

They had spent so much time with each other over the past few months, that neither Austin nor the

queen seemed to want to keep much secrets from each other.

It was mainly for that reason that Austin hadn''t withheld his whereabouts from her.

The queen''s response was as he had expected. At first, she was worried about him and wanted to

However, Austin felt that the city needed a powerful master to look after its affairs in his absence.

And even though the number of his followers had reached more than 200, 000, not many of them were

powerful enough to be called masters.

The queen, however, was not only a strong warrior, but also the leader of the evil shadow race; this

meant she was experienced in managing troops and an excellent choice for his substitute.

Therefore, he asked her to stay there only and take charge of the A.L. Army in the city.

After that, he himself quietly left the imperial capital city of the Jade Kingdom and made his way

    towards the western mountains.

The western part of the Jade Kingdom was filled with mountains, which stretched on and on as far as

the human eye could see. The map he had inside his Soul Sea made it clear that there had to be

    mountains first.

Austin climbed into the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot, which then flew over the mountains.

A few momentster, something unexpected happened!

Tens of thousands of meters away from the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot, two figures suddenly

appeared, and they seemed fearsome, dangerous, evil, and hidden.

They looked tall and ferocious and were hiding in the space.

    These figures were two demons.

And their ability to hide themselves was perfect; they could move about without emitting any evil aura.

And even though they were suspended in midair, they were invisible to the naked eye and all types of

light traveled straight through their bodies in strange ways.

"Well, it looks like this is the human boy, Austin Lin,"

one of them, who waspletely ck, remarked to the other.

    "Yeah, I think it''s him.

But where is that mysterious demon everyone says hangs out with him?

I carefully checked the entire imperial capital city of the Jade Kingdom with my demonic spiritual soul

just now, but I found no traces of any type of demon.

I think that demon is well and properly hidden. Otherwise, we would have seen him,"

uttered the other one, who was covered in silver scales.

"I have a feeling that the demon is with Austin right now too.

Most likely, the boy is carrying a spatial magic treasure and the demon we''re looking for is hidden in

    Content is property ? N?velDrama.Org.

that. I guess that''s why we couldn''t detect it."

The first one ventured a guess.

"Actually, I think you might be onto something.

    Anyway, let''s follow him first.

As long as we keep him in our sights, the mysterious demon will show up sooner orter,"

the other one stated in a t tone.

And then, the two demon figures shed and mysteriously disappeared.

Austin, unaware of their presence, flew around in the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot for about two hours.

    "This is it!"

Whilst sitting in the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot and exploring all around, Austin had been sensing the

earth below him with his spiritual sense. Suddenly his face brightened and he cried in a soft tone.

The next moment, he got out of the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot and put it away.

His eyes darted around him for a few moments, like a cat searching for a mouse and

atst, they fell upon a great, high, precipitous mountain in the distance.

It was a tall peak, surroundedpletely by dense milky clouds. Seen from a distance, it looked hazy

and mysterious, but at the same time, interesting and inviting.

What was more, there were a lot of cliffs on it that looked deep and frightening.

"Yeah, it''s there, all right!" he murmured firmly.

Then, he sprang to his feet and headed straight towards the towering mountain.

His bodily movement skill was advanced enough now to allow him to reach the mountain in the blink of

    an eye.

Without hesitating anymore, he stopped straight near one particr cliff that he had felt was strange.

Now in front of him was a deep abyss blocked by heavy clouds; its bottom was not visible at all.

Austin didn''t hesitate here too, and fell down asfortably as if he was flopping down on his sofa.

ording to the map given by the Sword Emperor, the Sword Treasure-house should be straight under

    this cliff.

Austin plummeted down for quite a while.

The wind whistled in his ear as he gained momentum continuously and momentster, he finally found

    solid ground beneath his feet.

He looked around and found himself in a vast desert.

It was a rocky terrain, rolling with red sand, and looked dead and deste. The sky had be dark

now, and there was a st of evil wind in the air.

    ''What''s going on here?''

    Austin was confused.

He had jumped off the cliff of a mountain. Technically, this should have been a rocky or green area.

''How did I suddenly appear in a desert? Is this a small alternate dimension?'' Austin wondered.

The chances weren''t that slim about that. The Sword Emperor had been a powerful cultivator. ''Was that

abyss an entrance to this small alternate dimension?''

Austin had a vague idea but he wasn''t too sure.

On deeper examination, he found that the red desert beneath his feet was littered with human and

animal skeletons, most of them decaying and half-absorbed in the sand. It looked like that numerous

humans and demonic and diabolic beasts had perished here.

''So I guess that''s the Sword Treasure-house!'' Austin squinted at the end of the desert.

There was a great city far in front of him.

It looked a bit run-down, and seemed to have fallen into disrepair over the course of time.

But it exuded a deep sense of civilization. ording to the scale of the building, and the quality of the

construction, it must have been a magnificent city in its time.

What was more remarkable was that the city in the distance seemed to be full of streaks of thick sword

auras, which were roaring and surging around in mid-air, like guard minions!

''That''s indeed the Sword Emperor''s Sword Treasure-house, which he left behind in the Prime Martial

    World.''

Austin was positive about his judgment.
