Chapter 1098 Deserter Elder Kerr
"Pull all out, and hold your ground!" Elder Kerr instructed.
He stood on the wall where all the soldiers from the Southern Alliances Army could see his face.
"Kill all of them!" he continued.
Elder Kerr was the best cultivator there. His arrival had greatly boosted morale in the Spring City.
All cultivators in the city rushed out of the gates to join the fight against their enemies.
The battle escted.
"A group of losers, you''re digging your own grave."
A derisive voice thundered. The next minute, a tall figure soared into the sky above the troops of the
demon race, apanied by thick evil aura.
He hovered in the air, heading towards the wall of Spring City—a
creepy looking demon.
He was no other than Erick the Demon King.
As he moved around, he stretched out a finger with a long, ugly fingernail.
Each time he stretched out a finger, a rope made from the evil aura would bind a cultivator from the
Southern Alliances Army and make him magically vanish into a slight misty cloud.
In a few minutes, he had turned quite a number of the soldiers into a mist of blood.
Stark raving mad at therge number of soldiers he was losing, Elder Kerr racked his brain for a
solution.
"That demon again.
I know, he is a lot more stronger this time round."
Having fought against this same Erick the Demon King more than once, he knew exactly how tough an
opponent he had on his hands.
He knew that the demon had practiced some mysterious, powerful skills that would be difficult to
withstand.
Elder Kerr''s heart grew heavy with fear as he watched Erick the Demon King ying the cultivators of
the Southern Alliances Army. But soon, the fear was reced by rage.
"You despicable demon, I will strike you down," he shouted.
Gritting his teeth to muster up courage, he dashed towards the demon king.
"This is going to be interesting. You''re a master at the Heaven Realm. All right, I''ll y with you again
and see what you''re capable of,"
Erick the Demon King sneered back.
The demon king''s body oozed a tremendous evil aura that enveloped him entirely.
With a swoosh, he disappeared.
The thick evil aura divided into countless streaks that snaked their way towards Elder Kerr.
To scan his surroundings, Elder Kerr unleashed his spiritual sense force, but he couldn''t locate Erick
the Demon King anywhere.
Left with no other choice, he had to release his vital energy to form a wall to protect himself.
Stretching out his right hand, a pair of indigo iron scissors materialized in his palm. The second he
tossed the pair of scissors into the air, it turned into an indigo flood dragon and pounced at the evil
aura.
He then opened his left palm, into which a white bead appeared. Without wasting a minute, he tossed
the bead into the air.
The bead started lighting up with blinding shes. A few secondster, it divided into a hundred
identical beads. They floated in front of Elder Kerr, each of them containing incredible amounts of
energy.
The indigo scissors and the white bead were high-grade holy weapons.
Demons practiced and perfected unbelievable skills. But human cultivators also had their own
advantage.
Innovative people could create countless, powerful magic treasures, which the demons, less creative
as they were just couldn''t.
Right now, both Elder Kerr and Erick the Demon King unleashed all their best skills to fight with each
other.
The trapped members of the Southern Alliances Army fought with every means possible to drive back.
The roar of their battle-cries could be heard several hundred miles away.
For the next forty-five minutes or so, both sides suffered causalities in their dozens, leaving the
battlefield littered with bodies.
Austin and the gnome were a few hundred miles away from the Spring City.
With bated breath, the two of them were watching.
One was using his spiritual sense, while the other was unleashing his beat soul energy.
After a while, Austin voiced out his thoughts.
"Looks like they are going to lose the Spring City.
And I bet Elder Kerr of the Sky Sect might be killed or badly injured,"
he said, cutting a deeply thoughtful face.
"I agree with you,"
the gnome replied with a nod.
At this point, Austin felt how helpless Elder Kerr was. He could barely fend off Erick the Demon King''s
mysterious skills.
After taking dozens of blows from the demon king, Elder Kerr was at a disadvantage.
Most of the Southern Alliances Army had lost their lives or sustained severe injuries.
Momentster, Elder Kerr let out a painful scream as a violet light cut his left hand into half.
Blood spurting from the stub that was left, he began muttering something.
"Looks like we''re going to lose this city.
If I don''t run away, I''ll lose my life here."
Already, he could perceive what was happening on the entire battlefield. Without a doubt, they were
going to lose.
Being the egotistic man that he was, he had spent his whole life abusing people for his own selfish
goals. Here on the battlefield, he only cared about himself. He had no thought whatsoever for the many
soldiers he had lost, not even the ones who were injured and needed help.
''I got to get out of here, '' he resolved.
With a wave of his hand, a dark blue light appeared in front of Elder Kerr. It moved around, destroying
the evil aura around him.
Soon after he released the blue light, Elder Kerr summoned more power to make an escape.

Being a Heaven Realm master, he could achieve incredibly high speeds.
Within a minute he was already miles away from the battlefield.
Erick the Demon King was surprised to find that Elder Kerr had run way. Soon he came back to his
senses and burst intoughter.
"What a cunning man! You want to run away?
That''s not gonna happen.
I guess it would be the best revenge on the Prime Martial World if I kill a Heaven Realm master first.
You can''t get away," Erick the Demon King murmured.
He then transformed himself into a cloud and flew towards the direction where Elder Kerr was fleeing
to.
Noticing that his troops had the upper hand, Erick the Demon King knew that they would take the city
even in his absence.
On checking the situation behind him, Elder Kerr turning pale with fright when he knew that Erick the
Demon King was going after him. He hurried up, but he wasn''t sure if he could make it safely home.
It seemed like Erick the Demon King had determined to take out Elder Kerr. He kept pursuing his
target.
"What''s going on?
Where is Elder Kerr? Did he run away?"
"Yes, he deserted us."
Discovering theirmander, Elder Kerr had ran away, the rest of the Southern Alliances Army
soldiers went into a panic.
Their will to fight was dealt a devastating blow.
"Even Elder Kerr ran away. It''s impossible for us to win this fight. Run, guys!"
At once they gave up the fight, activated their bodily movement skills and fled.
But the members of the Heaven Pce and the demons followed hot in pursuit.
"Kerr, that asshole deserted his men and ran away alone," Austin said derisively.
Now, he despised Elder Kerr.
"Where do you think you are going? You can''t escape us. You low-born humans, we''ll end your lives
today!"
Dozens of cultivators ran, heading in Austin''s direction.
Through his spiritual sense, he saw the two demon lords chasing after dozens of cultivators of the
Southern Alliances Army.
''There are two demon lordsing, ''
he thought.
Austin had destroyed ten demon lords and absorbed a lot of demonic energy from them the other day
in the Glint City.
''Two demon lords are approaching me.
I will suck their energy as well.
There must be a great number of demon lords in this battlefield.
Perhaps I can go absorb all their power while that strong demon king isn''t with them.
This way, I will get more demonic energies.''
This thought left Austin excited.
He wasted no time activating the Thunderbolt Movement Skill to rush towards the two demon lords.
