Chapter 1050 Cold Ashes Herb
All the demons came close to the demon king''s skeleton and surrounded him after Austin left.
They were all very thrilled that they were reunited with one of their great kings.
"Your majesty! Your majesty!" a demon lord cried out in excitement.
All of the demons were waiting for the demon king to reply.
However, the skeleton stayed still. It seemed that the demon king had disappeared again.
"What happened? Hasn''t His Majestye back to life? The skeleton had demonic spiritual soul just
then, didn''t it?" a demon lord asked, confused.
"Is His Majesty okay? What if he was injured in the fight with that devious human?" another demon said
worriedly.
They felt bitterly disappointed at the prospect of losing the demon king again.
"How is that possible? His Majesty is so powerful! Such a weak human would never be able to hurt
him!" another demon chimed in.
He couldn''t ept the fact that one of their great demon kings might have been defeated by a human
being.
"ck, ck, ck!"
Just then, the skeleton began to move. The thick, dark demonic energy circted it eerily.
Even though Austin failed to destroy the skeleton of the demon king during their fight, quite a few
bones had cracked and some of them even had been smashed.
A few momentster, the skeleton finally stopped moving.
"Hum! I can''t believe that damn human dared to smash my bones! I''ll kill him!"
The demon king''s voice was so powerful that everyone present instantly felt the horrific and depressing
aura that arose from him.
The whole skeleton hadpletely turned ck and was shining with a dark brilliance.
"What are you all waiting for? Give me your blood!" the demon king shouted.
He had waited for this moment for so long.
"Yes, Your Majesty!"
Every demon began to approach the skeleton. They shed their wrists and dripped their purple blood
onto the demon king''s bones.
It was a particr ceremony of the demon race for bringing someone back to life.
As the skeleton absorbed more and more purple blood, its body began to grow back gradually.
Its fresh, energy meridian, veins, skin and even its hair began to grow back slowly but surely.
It was only an hourter that the demon king was finally revived, standing five meters tall.
All the demons put down their hands, stepped back and looked at their demon king with respect.
Stretching his body, the demon king beamed with satisfaction.
"You all have done a great job today!" he said.
"I will give you a sumptuous reward when we return," he added.
He was very d to finallye back to life.
"Thank you, Your Majesty," they shouted.
Then they all proceeded to kneel down in front of their king, bowing their heads.
As there were ranks in the demon race, the demon lords and generals were very low in front of the
demon king.
"It seems that the gate to this Prime Martial World has finally been opened by our powerful demons
again!" the demon king said.
"Humph! A few hundred years ago, our race came to the Prime Martial World and fought with the
human race. It was a terrible disgrace that we lost," he continued.
"It''s also a disgrace that I have been trapped here for so many years! One day, mark my words, I''m
going to get my revenge!" he raged.
His red eyes seemed to be zing with fire while he spoke.
His gaze was emanating pure hate and anger.
"But the most important thing now is to find out the human who battled me just then," he said after a
few moments.
"I can''t believe that he has a spiritual tree in his Soul Sea. It''s very rare! I must get the spiritual tree
from him at any and all costs!" he swore determinedly.
He was so eager to get a spiritual tree to be stronger.
"Go and get me that human!" he shouted at the demons.
His eyes gleamed with greed and excitement whenever he mentioned the spiritual tree. He desired it
more than anything in the world.
"Your Majesty, we have ten groups, in total over a thousand of us are here in the Barren Mountain," a
demon lord reported.
"There are six other demon kings and one demon imperator trapped in the Barren Mountain aside from
you," he continued.
"Our most important job here and now is to resurrect all the demon kings and imperators. Once we do,
we will have enough force to conquer the Prime Martial World," he added, bowing deeply.
The demon lord was quick to fill in the situation to the demon king.
He was afraid that searching for the human would slow down their mission.
"Humph! I don''t care. All of you have to go with me and find that human first. That''s the most important
thing now!" the demon king shouted.
"Do you all understand?!" he warned.
He nced at the demons around him. The cruelty and killing intent was crystal clear in his eyes.
"Understood!" the demons replied respectfully.
They all bowed their heads once they caught a glimpse at the look on the demon king''s face. They
could tell that the demon king would actually kill them if they refused to y along with him.
The stronger a demon was, the moodier they became. It was easy to get on the wrong side of the
demon king if they didn''t follow his orders perfectly. He might actually kill them.
Disobedience was not an option.
"Okay then. Let''s go!" the demon king ordered with a grim smile on his face. With a wave of his hand,
he motioned for the demons to follow him.
....
At the moment, Austin was exploring the depths of the Barren Mountain.
He had already gotten Violet, the gnome, Emma, and Debby out of the City model with him.
"The cold ashes herb is an eighth-grade herb only mentioned in the books. Is it possible that we can
find it here?" Austin asked Emma as they hiked.
The medical books hade down through the ages. Austin wasn''t sure if they could even recognize
the herb.
"Are you sure that we can find the cold ashes herb in the Barren Mountain?" Austin asked again.
He knew that this herb was the entire reason Emma and Debby were here.
He wanted to help, but he was afraid their efforts would all be in vain.
Even though he had heard of it before, he had never known where to find it.
ording to Angus, some rare herbs were so hard to find that even pill refiners didn''t know where to
find them. There was a good chance that they couldn''t find the rare ones even if they vaguely had an
idea where they were.
The cold ashes herb, in particr, was really rare.
Austin had heard its description, but had never seen it before.
"Yes, it''s possible that we will find some here. I''ve seen the information listed about it in my family''s
heirloom books. One of our ancestors found some here before," Emma replied.
She didn''t want to give up so easily.
"That''s why we came here. We can only hope to find some," she continued after a few seconds.
She too was uncertain whether they could find some here or not.
Austin frowned. He realized that neither Emma nor Debby had seen the cold ashes herb before. It was

like trying to find a needle in a haystack!
"Gnome, we''re counting on you!" Austin said seriously, his brow knitted.
The gnome was theirst hope.
"I''ll try my best. Let''s cross our fingers," the gnome said with a sigh.
He shook his head slightly, a small frown on his face.
Emma and Debby were more worried after hearing the gnome''s remark. The gnome was most likely to
lead them to the herbs, but even he wasn''t sure if they could find some.
With the gnome''s powers, they had found some rare herbs in their search.
They even found a superior vital energy crystal mine!
About fifty million superior vital energy crystals were waiting for them in there.
After they had collected everything, Austin gave half of them to Emma and Debby.
Austin knew that they needed it much more than he ever would.
He didn''t think the superior vital energy crystals were that important, but Emma and Debby did.
For them, twenty-five million superior vital energy crystals were a huge fortune. They had never seen
so many superior vital energy crystals before!
