Chapter 1048 Battle With The Demon Race
The moment Austin drew out his ughtering Sword, an intense aura of killing spread out, permeating
the entire hall.
Instantly, all the demons, standing by that ck water pool, turned to look at the spot where Austin hid.
They had been so frantic and excited earlier so they didn''t spot Austin.
However, now that the demons sensed the aura of killing the moment Austin drew his ughtering
Sword, they noticed his existence.
Soon a six-meter tall demon, with two horns on his head, took the lead. He was followed by a dozen
other demons, and they charged towards Austin.
Was he a demon lord?
Austin checked out the demon who was leading the attack with his spiritual sense and was a little
shocked.
The demon with two bent horns on its head was actually a demon lord, Austin knew that a demon lord
was tantamount to a human cultivator of the Tribtion Realm.
He also knew that the demon race was far stronger than the human cultivators of the same realm.
If it had been a human cultivator of the Tribtion Realm, Austin might have had a chance against him,
with his current strength and skill.
However this was a demon lord, and Austin couldn''t be quite sure about whether he could kill the
demon.
He was approaching quickly. In a sh, that demon lord was only three hundred meters away from
Austin.
He exuded an evil aura which was like a dark cloud sweeping towards Austin.
The evil aura was very intense, and filled with brutality, death and darkness.
Austin felt the aura and instantly understood that the evil aura could invade one''s Soul Sea and blind
one''s consciousness.
He felt that was probably a strongbat technique of the demon race.
Austin raised and brandished his ughtering Sword in the air. A giant crimson sword aura formed and
darted towards the demons.
Whoosh!
All the evil aura that was around was swept away in one instant.
Within seconds, the sword aura reached the demon lord.
The demon lord was shocked to see that happen. He had never expected a human cultivator to master
a sword aura which was so powerful.
Hiss!
The crimson sword aura cut right through the demon lord in one instant attack.
There was an explosion.
A couple of other demon generals were hit by sword aura too and their bodies exploded to pieces.
However, it was not the end. What followed astonished Austin!
He was shocked to see that as the sword aura cut through the demon lord, his body turned into two
pockets of evil aura and the sword aura went right through.
Once the sword aura passed, these two pockets of evil aura joined together and transformed back to
the form of the demon lord, The only benefit was that the demon lord was shorter and was oozing less
evil aura than earlier.
It was clear to Austin that the demon lord was using some sort of arcane spell to escape from the
sword aura, but it took a lot of energy out of him.
"Damn you human!"
The demon lord was so angry that his face turned darker and scarier. His evil aura suddenly turned into
a big ck that flew towards Austin.
The ck carried screams of countless demons and these sounds came straight for Austin''s Soul
Sea.
The ck could generate sound to invade one''s Soul Sea during its attack.
Austin waved the ughtering Sword and the sword aura struck again.
Boom!
It tore through the entire ck and turned those demons into ck lights, which faded away shortly.
As for the screams that invaded his Soul Sea, Austin used his spiritual sense and repelled them.
The members of the demon race standing by the pool realized how tough Austin was, so more demons
ran towards the entrance to support their colleague.
There were at least five or six demon lords among them now.
Austin smiled bitterly.
He could defeat a demon lord with his ughtering Sword, but now there were five or six demon lords.
So, he knew the battle wouldst for a longer time.
Another thought bothered Austin. Even if he managed to kill all the demon lords, he was afraid that the
skeleton at the bottom of the pool would be resurrected by then.
Austin understood quite well the tremendous power of that demon body taking shape. If it got
resurrected, he might be outdone even with his ughtering Sword.
Austin decided that he couldn''t waste his time to fight with those demons any longer.
There were two options before him.
Option one would be to surpass all those demons and destroy the body and the skeleton with the
ughtering Sword.
Or he could just leave that hall before the body was resurrected.
"Gnome, can you take me straight above the pool that is in the center of the hall with your Space

Teleportation?"
Austin asked gnome telepathically through his spiritual sense.
"I can take you anywhere within one thousand meters!"
answered the gnome confidently.
The gnome came out of the Illusion Bead and put its teleportation ability to use.
A spatial force covered Austin.
The gnome stepped up and took Austin into another dimension.
Many demons ran swiftly towards him, exuding evil aura like ck clouds. They reached Austin''s
position in a sh. But before they could make a move, Austin had disappeared mysteriously.
The demons were startled and they swept the whole area for any sign of Austin.
At the same time, there was a movement above the pool.
In the center of the hall, the space above the pool twisted and something like a portal opened up.
Everything had to be done quickly and cautiously.
Two figures stepped out of that twisted portal space.
"Gnome, go into the Illusion Bead quickly."
Austin then thrust his ughtering Sword towards the body which was at the bottom of the pool. It was
growing flesh and blood faster than expected.
Boom!
A giant crimson sword aura hit the skeleton which was turning into a body of flesh and blood.
Hit by Austin''s full power, the body started shaking violently. Every inch of its bone creaked under such
strong force.
Part of the blood and flesh that had just grown exploded away!
"Kill the human!"
The demons kneeling beside the pool were set into a frantic state on hearing the words.
Austin waved his ughtering Sword andunched attacks against the skeletal body continuously.
Waves of sword aura hit the bottom of the pool. Mud and dirt were all over the ce and many huge
fissures became visible at the bottom.
The energy waves shook the entire hall.
Within a couple of seconds, Austin hit that body six to seven times.
The skeleton began shaking violently.
Creak!
Some bones began to crack and then broke one by one.
Suddenly there was a rustle!
Many ck clouds started gathering around Austin.
Austin turned his ughtering Sword and shed those ck clouds.
Boom!
Four to five demon generals exploded and died on the spot.
Unfortunately, the demon lords were able to escape from the attack of the sword aura.
