Chapter 1037 Mastering The Energy-controlling Skill (Part One)
On top of the mountain, Austin stood steadily and quietly. He was adjusting his breath and preparing
himself for the things he was going to do.
Slowly, he directed his spiritual sense down into the earth below, letting the earth carry its force far
away and investigating his surroundings. He was able to detect even the lowest sound and the slightest
movement within the entire area within seconds.
Just as this happened, he could feel something moving right beneath him. Could this be what they
called the Earth Energy? That was truly fabulous!
In fact, this wasn''t the first time that he had felt something like this. It was just that now, he could sense
it more clearly and was sure that a certain kind of energy existed around him. He had been cultivating
the Earth-shaping Form these days, and kept searching for any possible energy flowing under his
feet. Finally, he managed to make it.
As he proceeded, he started to realize that there was actually a kind of very special energy above the
surface of the ground, and more of it beneath the soil.
To be more specific, he could vaguely detect that the energy took the form of a yellowish-brown fog,
which seeped into every part of the soil in the area.
Aside from this, he could observe that rather than flowing freely, the fog in different areas moved in
certain directions as if it were being led by an invisible hand.

yellow fog was drifting slowly towards the eighteen green hills around the headquarters of the Heaven
Pavilion Sect, where the Earth Energy met and converged like rivers into the sea.
"Well, it seems that the eighteen green hills are the hearnds of the Heaven Pavilion Sect''s Earth
Energy, and almost all the force of the earth around its headquarter is centered in those hills.
Now it makes sense why the Eighteen Arhats Array is extremely powerful! It is created with the

Austin murmured to himself, analyzing the conditions.

hand and hit the ground.

A cloud of yellowish-brown fog burst out from under the earth like a bullet, changed its direction and
came to float above Austin''s hand.
"So this is how the Earth Energy really looks like; the force that the earth contains!? Hmm, how
interesting!"
Austin was very intrigued. He studied the fog with curiosity, trying to figure out more about it.
But he could do nothing with it with his bare hands, and it made no interaction with him. So after
examining it for a while, he turned his palm down, and let the fog sink back into the earth. It was like a
drop of water from the point of a needle disappeared into the ocean.
Then he began doing something quite peculiar. He started walking with short and quick steps around.
He walked in different directions and changed his directions swiftly, like he had ants in his pants, only
the look on his face was one of determination and not panic.
He had short strides and quick pace, with a trajectory that was rather confusing. It was quite difficult for
one to follow his actions, let alone guessing what he was trying to do. If anything, it seemed like he was
drawing some picture on the ground with his feet.
Finally, having taken a dozen steps near the ce, he stopped.
Raising his right foot, he stamped on the ground forcefully. The earth trembled at once.
"Out!"
he ordered in a low and firm voice.
"Boom!"
At his words, a puff of yellowish-brown fog as thick as his arm shot out of the ground and hit a tall big
tree off to his side.
The tree could only be held by three to four people together, yet in the blink of an eye, it was broken
and even blown into pieces by the fog!
Leaves and chips of its trunk were blown up into the sky before falling down like debris and covering
the ground.
"This Energy-controlling Skill is certainly far from being a disappointment,"

Austin nodded his head looking at the broken twigs and dry leaves at his feet.
Now it was apparent that he had in fact been attempting to activate a certain kind of skill called Energy-
controlling Skill. It was a part of the Earth-shaping Form and could enable the user to control the
Earth Energy easily.
Of course, the cultivator had to gather enough Earth Energy from the earth by using the skill in order to
turn it into a powerful weapon to attack.
Austin had sessfully activated it at the first try, but the attack heunched was still rtively weak.
