Chapter 974 The Sessful Refinement Of The Ancient Sword
The Triangle Zone was well known to the South Continent of the Prime Martial World due to its chaos.
It would be no exaggeration to say that it was one of the most chaotic regions in the entire continent.
It was not under the jurisdiction of any holy kingdom or empire. Legend said that the Triangle Zone
used to be a territory of an ancient sect a long time ago.
That ancient sect was said to be extremely powerful. It was rumored to have dominated the whole
Prime Martial World.
However, something unexpected had happened. For some unknown reasons, the strong sect was
mysteriously destroyed overnight, leaving no survivors. No one knew the real reason behind its sudden
disappearance, and maybe no one ever would.
Since then, no one ruled the Triangle Zone and it was thrown intoplete chaos, making it the most
chaotic area in the South Continent.
Countless desperadoes from all over the world flooded into this area to escape the trials in their ces.
As a result, thew of the jungle, the most uncivilized and barbarous way, dominated the entire region.
No other rules or restrictions existed in the Triangle Zone except for thew of the jungle. It turned into
a dog-eat-dog world.
In other words, it was a world where the weak were nothing but food while the strong ate them.
In a world where the absolute strength had dominated everything else, the weak had no power over
anything, not even their own lives.
In other areas of the South Continent, there were empires, royal families, and organizations who
maintained order and resolved disputes in both fair and unfair ways.
However, it did not apply to the Triangle Zone where various forces gathered and fought against one
another to gain more benefits such asnd, women, and resources. They kept battling and battling.
The killing was endless. As long as one could show his strength, he could do whatever he wanted even
if they were evil and unjust. In fact, none of them saw this kind of behavior to be inappropriate.
In essence, the Triangle Zone was home to a group of evil and ferocious people. It was their paradise.
"What? Are you nning on going to the Triangle Zone, master?"
Tyson asked to confirm. He was both surprised and pleased to hear Austin''s decision.
He used to be a member of the Triangle Zone. Now it had been about one hundred years since hest
set foot on that ce. No wonder he was d to hear Austin im that he was going to head there.
Tyson was eager to return there. It was his home to some extent.
"Yes. I''ve made up my mind.
Hey, everybody. Please take a good long rest here in the city and refresh yourselves. I''ll let you know
when we''re about to take off," Austin eximed with a determined look.
Later, he thought for a few moments as he rubbed his hand on his chin. Then he took out some
cultivation resources and handed them to the guys-- his new servants.
Austin was not a penny pincher. He deduced that they must have been close to running out of
cultivation resources given that they had been trapped in the city for quite a long time.
Now that they were his servants, it meant that they were his men. He did not want them to be useless.
It would be very good for him if he had an army that could also show their strength. So he decided to
refuel them by giving them more resources. Although he would lose a portion of his resources, it would
also benefit him in the long run.
Those people couldn''t help but get excited when they saw Austin take out so many precious elixirs and
pills and distribute them to them. Their eyes lit up all at once as smiles cracked on their lips.
Now, they were beginning to think that it wouldn''t be so difficult to get along with their new master,
given the fact that he was kind enough to provide them with new resources.
Once Austin was done distributing the resources, he told them, "Take them and gather some strength.
I''lle backter."
He then turned around and teleported himself to the ce where Violet and the gnome were staying.
By the time he arrived at his destination, Violet was already done with her cultivation. She seemed to
havepletely enhanced her power at the new stage that she reached recently.
As for the gnome, he took the Magic Sea Water and was still meditating in seclusion.
Austin told Violet about what he just did beforeing to them.
"You mean to say you have made more than thirty people your new servants by using some secret
skill? You have their spiritual orbs so you can now control them? Honestly, I didn''t see thating at
all!"
Violet repeated with a surprised voice.
"Yes, that''s exactly what I just did.
Look, Violet. I''m thinking about building up my own force once the time is appropriate. And this just
might be my opportunity to start.
If I ever get trapped in some tricky situation where I would have to face some vicious enemies, being
alone would be a big disadvantage. I prefer to have my own force to back me up,"
exined Austin.
"Yes, I agree! You should,"
Violet replied with a nod.
"So, are you really heading for the Triangle Zone, master?"
she then asked with her eyes locked on him.
"Yes. I''ve made up my mind. I''ll get myself prepared for theing days. It would be better if I could
refine that ancient sword sessfully. I''m thinking that mastering an archaic weapon would greatly
increase mybat power,"
Austin replied with expectant eyes.
"Yes, sure. Please refine it! I''m looking forward to seeing you with your improved strength," Violet
eximed in excitement.
Austin spent the next two days recovering his strength. Now, all the spiritual sense he had exerted in
order to refine the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot had also been regained sessfully.
"Whoopee! This is great!" eximed Austin in joy when he opened his eyes from his meditation. He felt
a lot more energetic and refreshed. "So, I should begin refining the ancient sword now!"
The next day, he caged himself in the room to focus on refining the ancient sword.
What surprised Austin was that it was much more difficult to refine this ancient swordpared with
the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot.
During the process of refinement, strands of powerful sword aura appeared from the sword. They did
not seem harmful.
However, every time Austin would release his spiritual sense to try and drive it into the sword, intending
to make his spiritual sign on it, the sword aura would cut his spiritual sense into pieces and they would
end up fading away.
Therefore, Austin had to be more careful in order to avoid the interaction between his spiritual sense
and the sword aura. It took him two whole days toplete this task. By that time, his spiritual sense
was almost drained out.
He carefully manipted his spiritual sense to wander in the sword and kept it away from the sword
aura until he finally seeded in nting a mark of his spiritual sense in the sword.

He made it! Austin did not immediately try to connect with the ancient sword after he was done refining
it.
Instead, he put it aside as he lied on the ground and panted heavily. It was not that he did not want to
connect with it. It was just he was too tired to do anything at the moment. He was exhausted due to the
refinement and now all he wanted to do was to take a good rest. He had never been that tired before.
Struggling, he took out a pill which was specifically made to recover spiritual sense and swallowed it.
He then fell asleep.
He slept for more than one whole day.
When he finally opened his eyes, he channeled his internal strength and discovered that he had
regained more than half of his spiritual sense.
"Whoo! It was really exhausting to refine an archaic weapon,"
he teased himself as a bitter smile appeared on his face.
Austin was well aware of the fact that his spiritual sense was as strong as that of a warrior of the
Tribtion Realm. But still, it required him to use most of his spiritual sense to barely refine the sword.
If the warriors of the Astral Realm or those at a lower grade had the archaic weapon by chance, they
would probably fail to refine it just because they would not have enough strength to do so.
Taking a deep breath, Austin brought out the ancient sword. Immediately, he felt the strong killing intent

burst out from the sword which then flowed into his body.
All of a sudden, he saw pictures sh through his mind. Dead bodies piled up and there were rivers
andkes that were filled with blood. Endless people were in by thousands of sharp sword-lights
before they faded away from the world, both physically and spiritually.
The sight was extremely terrifying.
Austin estimated that he would be able to kill the warriors of the Astral Realm without any trouble as
long as he held this sword and released its sword-light. No more sword skills were needed at all. Now
think of that!
Even warriors of the Tribtion Realm would tremble in fear!
As a matter of fact, even Austin himself couldn''t help but shiver from the bottom of his heart when he
felt the ferocious killing intenting from the de.
It seemed that this ancient sword was made to cause deaths. This idea alone was horrifying enough!
Meanwhile, bits and pieces of information about the sword appeared in Austin''s Soul Sea.
The ughtering Sword! That was its name!
It was a low-grade archaic weapon.
"The ughtering Sword? Hmm! The name surely matches its aura perfectly!
Is it really that powerful? I would find out when the timees and I hope it doesn''t disappoint me,"
Austin muttered in a low voice.
He observed the de carefully and waved it for a while. Wearing a satisfied look on his face, he took it
back.
"It''s finally time to head for the Triangle Zone!"
his eyes gleamed with expectant lights as he eximed with a determined look.
He had been staying in the city for six whole days.
Somewhere deep in the Middle World Waters, a giant diabolic whale was swimming freely. It swallowed
sea beasts that had smaller bodies from time to time as it starved for snacks. It was livingfortably
with lots of time for leisure.
"Bang!"
Suddenly, a bloody hole burst out on the back of its body. The water near the hole turned red because
of the blood and flesh. A human being flew out of the hole in a very fast speed.
"Howl!"
The diabolic whale could not help but roar in great pain. It was convulsing with rage. Heavy swells
suddenly surged in the area around it thanks to the stir caused by its giant body.
All the weak sea beasts scrambled to swim away for their own lives.
The man rushed upwards to the surface of the sea as quickly as he could.
Before long, he had already broken through the surface and floated in the air above the sea.
"Where would I be now? Hmmm, let me figure it out!"
It was none other than Austin himself.
He released his spiritual sense to pinpoint his location and to inspect his surroundings carefully.
"This direction will probably lead me to thend!"
he murmured.
He then waved his hand and immediately, an ancient chariot with shadows of dragon and phoenix
vaguely circling around it appeared right in front him as it floated in the air. It was the Dragon and
Phoenix Chariot.
"Well! It is time to show me your true strength, you costly archaic weapon!"
Austin stepped inside the Dragon and Phoenix Chariot without hesitation.
