Chapter 725 The Enemy Had Appeared (Part Two)
"Follow me, guys! Let''s fight together and get out of this bloody fog first!" Malick called out.
Hearing his words, all the men from the Flying Fish Sect, the Iron Palm Sect as well as the Evergreen
Sect shouted in unison their ord. Deploying their unique skills, they cooperated with Malick and
began to fight their way out of the square.
There was strength in numbers, and in a short time, the team had made short work of the fog, making
significant progress.
Everyone was immensely inspired by the temporary victory, and all of them fought with more vigor.
"Well done! We won''t be trapped in this damn ce with Malick leading us out!"
One by one, they encouraged each other as they cheered themselves on.
"Let''s use the God-trapping Array together, brother. That de Master is stronger than we thought. I''m
afraid we won''t be able to fulfill the task assigned by our master if we are not careful, that of des
is very fierce."
The middle-aged man''s voice sounded again from the fog suddenly.
He was answered by a wildugh. "Ha ha ha! Don''t worry, big brother. None of them will escape from
this ce today!"
Another voice full of presumptuousness and ruthlessness answered.
As soon as the voices stopped speaking, the number of ghosts lingering in the greyish white fog

increased suddenly. Soon the ce was thickly dotted with ghosts everywhere in the fog. Tens and
thousands of them galloped ahead, roaring and growling loudly.
The evil spirit demons howled and growled as they headed for the center of the square, narrowing their
target space as they encircled the area. A dreadful mor filled the ce as the whole square trembled
violently as if experiencing an earthquake.
The cold wind blew as it overcast a cold and bleak atmosphere while it diminished the light in the whole
ce. As the evil demon spirits rushed in gritting their teeth and crackling through their mouth, they
made a beeline for the middle of the square and fiercely attacked the people who were there.
To make matters worse, the cries of so many ghosts formed a wave of sound attacks and struck the
conscious minds of anyone within the vicinity. All of them, including Malick, felt a dull pain in their
spiritual souls which made it hard for them to breathe.
While they were distraught and in pain, the tens of thousands of demon-like ghosts surrounded them
andunched a frenzied attack.
"Everyone be careful! Protect your Soul Sea with your spiritual sense; otherwise, the sounds will break
your spiritual souls!"
Malick shouted as he reminded them. Simultaneously, he produced a dazzling de of light with his
spiritual sense. He unleashed it from his Soul Sea and aimed at the demon-like ghosts around him. It
worked and in a moment the de had destroyed dozens of them in one stroke.
He continued to raise his de and shed the dead souls with a vengeance. The ghosts were
quite fragile under the attacks of Malick''s de, and it pierced through another hundred or so of them
by its iparable de aura, turning the ghosts into fragments that disappeared into the wind in no
time.
People from the other three sects, on the other hand, had quite a hard time dealing with the difficult,
pesky demon-like ghosts. They fought them to the best of their abilities, yet the numerous demon-like
ghosts seemed resistant and jumped on them endlessly as if they had escaped from Pandora''s Box.
"Ahhh! Help me! Help!"
Soon enough, someone cried out. It was a rtively weak Imperial Realm cultivator who was gradually
besieged in the ocean of ghosts and could not resist crying out for help.
"Hold on, Lane!"
The leader of the Iron Palm Sect called to him. Lane was a member of the Iron Palm Sect, and an
Imperial Realm cultivator as well. Seeing him in danger, his leader wanted to finish his own fight and
bodily movement skill and get to him, arge crowd of ghosts threw themselves on to Lane, muffling his
cry for help. The ghosts fell over each other trying to seize his head, legs and arms. There was nothing
that the other men could do for him. With a tearing crash, Lane''s body was torn into pieces, with the
ghosts scrambling for his twisted body parts and stepping on his hot blood.
Everyone was stunned at the horrible sight. They had thought that the demon-like ghosts could only
do harm to people''s spiritual souls, never had they expected that they could hurt the flesh of human
beings.
"Everyone, gather around! Let''s form a circle and fight these ghosts together. Take care of each other
and then move slowly to the edge of the square!"
The leader of the Flying Fish Sect ordered. He had always been a man with resourcefulness even in an
emergency situation. After carefully analyzing their situation, he realized that if things went on like it
was, they would very likely be crushed one by one, eventually. But if they stuck and fought together,
they might still stand a chance.
At his words, people from all the three sects followed his instructions without dy. Standing back to
back, they made a circle of a human wall. By unleashing and reinforcing their spiritual sense, they
created an invisible shield together.
Furthermore, they brought out more vital energy to activate all kinds of powerful skills and resisted the
flood of haunting ghosts. At the same time, they started paying attention to protecting each other as
much as possible.
Within a short time, they seemed to have been able to withstand the violent and frenzied attacks from
the ghost army.
"Well, it''s not going to be that easy. Come, brother, for the second attempt. It''s time to make the final
strike."
The middle-aged man''s voice resounded again throughout the square. As his voice faded, two male
figures suddenly appeared in front of the crowd.
Apart from the middle-aged man who had been forced out of his protection cover by Malick earlier,
there was also another man, who was shorter and younger. The two stood side by side and blocked the
way.
"Finally, you have the guts to show yourselves, cowards? Your death will be swift, I promise!"
Malick cursed upon seeing them. He was already burning with killing intent, upset and driven by their
sneak attacks and all the annoying ghosts; he just could not hold back his rage any longer and cried
out with great hatred the instant he saw the enemies'' faces. He bellowed, conjuring two sword-lights as
started a storm within the square and strong winds swirled around the sword-lights, rushing together
towards the two enemies.
