    sound. The ancient evil ape cried in agony as it struggled against the array and threw itself onto the

    Suddenly, the monster stood up with feeble legs, its whole body shaking.


    It turned around and tried to scurry into the distance.


    But after taking just a few strides, it stopped. For a long while, it stood motionless at the same spot with


    its arms hanging limply by its sides, as if it was waiting for something.


    At this moment, Austin was ovee with a strange feeling. He felt like there was a connection


    between him and the huge animal. He had been secretly calling for the ancient evil ape to stop, and it


    had stopped. It seemed that the monster was under his control now.

    As far as Austin could guess, the ape would kill itself immediately without any hesitation if he issued


    such an order. He clearly felt its devotion from its eyes.

    tough fight before he could sessfully conquer the ancient evil ape and tame it. He had even


    considered the possibility that he might fail. But the process hadn''t been too difficult.


    Now that the ancient evil ape had surrendered, Austin felt like most of his burden had lessened. With


    mixed feelings in his heart, he cast his gaze at the soul-recovering fruits. There were just around ten of


    them left. Not too many.

    With a nimble leap, Austin found himself right next to the tree. He reached out his hands and picked all


    the thirteen soul-recovering fruits from the tree. He carefully collected them and put them into the jade
