Chapter 312 Watch Out! Ghosts Are Everywhere


    Austin was much relieved when he realized that what suddenly attacked them was just a ghost. Austin


    and Violet had a strong spiritual sense power, so they could perceive a ghost even before it could make


    a move.


    Back when he was in the Grand Destion Mountain, Austin had dealt with ghosts. He met Ghost Sect

    human without arms and feet. The head was obvious but it had no face. There were hundreds of them


    that crept out Austin and Violet.


    All of a sudden, Violet activated her spiritual sense and Austin couldn''t help but perceive its strong


    sensation. Her spiritual sense quickly aimed at the ghosts surrounding them.


    On the other hand, Austin did not waste any time and used his Spiritual Sense Flying Needle. With a


    blink of an eye, a myriad of needles shot the ghosts around them. Each ghost howled in pain and


    vanished in the air as they were hit by the needles.


    Even though Austin and Violet were outnumbered by the ghosts, they were able to stand up to their


    enemies because of their excellent cultivation base. They both possessed strong spiritual sense and no


    ghost could withstand their powerful attack.


    At first, Violet felt scared when she sensed the number of ghosts waiting for them. But she never let the

    Austin agreed with Violet.

    "I found that too. I perceived some human beings were around. But who are those people?"


    Violet followed in a confused tone.

    "I sensed that there are four people around. Two of them were at the preliminary stage of Earth Realm,


    one at the medium stage of Earth Realm and the other one at the premium stage of Earth Realm. They


    seemed to be stuck in an array," Austin continued.


    "Do you want to go over there and ask them?"


    Violet suggested.

    The two headed to the direction of the people they perceived. Austin held his breath and moved quietly.

    Since Austin and Violet were not far from the four people, they approached their targets soon. The two


    hid behind a small mound as they craned their necks to peek at them.


    The four people were cut outside by an invisible dome. The invisible dome covered an area of thirty


    square meters in the field. The men stood back to back as they vigntly stared around. The vital


    energy force flowed through their bodies, and they disyed their own martial skills to attack the dome


    with full force.


    Two of them began tounch an attack. Whenever they hit the dome, it just slightly trembled. Plus, the


    power somehow bounced back to each of them.


    Two of them had to use their vital energy force to stand against the energy that bounced back.


    The four seemed to have figured out how the dome worked. They took turns in attacking the dome, but


    they couldn''t pass through it. Austin had no idea how long they were stuck, but he could sense that the


    vital energy force flowing through their bodies wasn''t steady. He concluded that they already consumed


    much of their energy.


    "This is interesting. An array that could rebound attacks. I''ve never seen something like this before,"


    Austin remarked as his eyes lit up.


    Austin was amazed to the array in front of him.


    However, Austin furrowed his brows when he saw the clothes of the people trapped inside the dome.


    "I believe that they are from the ming Sun Valley. What do you think they are doing here? Is it


    because of me? Are they going to kill me?

    "It looks like they came here before we did. I figured they aren''t here for you," Violet said in a low voice


    as she tilted her head.


    "You have a point, Violet," Austin agreed.


    "From what I can see, they seemed to have trouble breaking the array. Do you want to secretly help


    them?"


    Violet respectfully asked Austin.


    "I don''t want to," Austin refused as he shook his head.


    "I have a grudge against the people in the ming Sun Valley. They would have never let go of me.


    Its people want me nothing but dead. I have no reason to rescue them in any way. Besides, I think this


    array can trap them for just a day or two. They will help themselves out," he added.


    "This array only traps them, but it doesn''t attack them. So they are quite safe for now..."


    But before Violet could finish her words, he sensed something different. She turned her head toward


    Austin and looked in a distance.


    Detecting that something was approaching behind them, Austin turned around and his face darkened


    with what he saw.


    Several ghosts flew in their direction. They must have heard the noisesing from the dome. Before

    Even though Austin and Violet discovered a good spot to hide, these ghosts still found them because


    they could target any living creatures.
