Chapter 305 Fleeing From Sun Mountain

Chapter 305 Fleeing From Sun Mountain

Having reached Mysterious Realm, Dwayne owned the Soul Sea. Realizing that he couldn''t catch

Austin, Dwayne unleashed his spiritual sense to attack him.

Fortunately, Austin could tell right away that Dwayne''s spiritual sense was not as strong as his.

Without hesitation, Austin threw a Spiritual Sense Flying Needle at Dwayne, piercing his spiritual

    sense.

A shock went through Dwayne''s body. He paused in midair, a look of amazement crossing his features.

    How was that possible?

His surprise was because he had hardly broken into Austin''s Soul Sea when a purer and stronger

    spiritual sense had attacked his.

A mere touch had caused damage to his spiritual sense, which had cracked, unable to resist the attack.

Was it Austin who had released the spiritual sense?

No! Impossible! Austin had only just reached the premium stage of Earth Realm. How could he

possibly own spiritual sense? Besides, this spiritual sense was too strong, even stronger than his.

Could this belong to Austin, whose cultivation base was much lower than his?

After a brief moment of shock, Dwayne recovered his wits. But Austin was already out of reach.

pping his vulture wings, Austin flew quickly towards the other side of Sun Mountain.

Both Dwayne and Abbott turned pale with fury. Without bidding farewell to the elders of the Sun Sect,

they signaled to their subordinates to retreat. They walked out of the yard and left Sun Mountain in a

    hurry.

Both of them took the direction that Austin had fled away in. They didn''t give up the chase.

The moment he arrived at the foot of Sun Mountain, Dwayne turned around and shouted amand.

"All the top fighters of ming Sun Valley should set out at once to chase Austin. Be sure to bring him

    to me."

At almost the same time, Abbott issued the same order to the members of the Blood Wolf Team.

"Elites of the Blood Wolf Team, your mission now is to catch Austin. He is wanted dead or alive!"

"Hah! Blood Wolf Team''s rudeness is known to all. But I never expected that the members of ming

Sun Valley would also be so impolite," one of the elders of Sun Sect who was offended by Dwayne and

Abbott''s discourtesy said. They had left without paying their obeisance or saying goodbye.

The elder who was dressed up as a nun, surnamed Li, sneered coldly.

"Hah-hah! How wonderful! Austin really impressed me. I never thought that he could get away with all

    of this, safe and sound!"

Satisfied and rxed, another elder said loudly, his face aglow.

"Just look at their faces as they slink away! It''s the best!

They had bullied us to no end these past few days. I''m fed up with their surliness and arrogance.

Austin is just a disciple of the Sun Sect, but they just could not harm him.

    What a relief!"

"Austin is very talented. What a pity that he has split off from the Sun Sect," Theon said.

Theon felt a profound feeling of loss. He and Austin had been quite congenial and he appreciated the

youngster in every aspect: his disposition, strength, and potential. If such a thing hadn''t happened, he

had really wanted to ept Austin as a disciple and bring out the best in him.

Everyone was feeling relieved, except Jaime. Face clouded, he stared sullenly in the direction that

Austin left in. Austin''s words still rang in his head.

''He had found out that I''m the one who had plotted against him. He will take revenge on me someday.

He is less than twenty years old now but he already has such strength. He will grow into a top fighter

with time and be a vigorous opponent of mine in the future, '' mused Jaime, brows furrowed.

This thought made him restless with anxiety. He had to get rid of this potential rival as soon as

    possible.

Austin had already left Sun Mountain, but didn''t stop to rest. He kept infusing his vital energy force into

    N?vel(D)rama.Org''s content.

the spreading wings on his back. He had to get away from this ce, fast and far.

He knew for sure that neither the ming Sun Valley nor the Blood Wolf Team would give up that

easily. They would send their top fighters to chase him.

One pair of heels is often worth two pairs of hands. Austin decided to run away and find a ce where

they couldn''t get at him, so he coulde up with some countermeasures. . .

Austin was heading towards a vast mountain

that was covered in dense forest. The dense green of the trees swayed along with the breeze, making

it look like the waves of the sea. A strong wind blew, whipping up huge waves that soon spread out into

the distance and gradually disappeared from sight. It was the most magnificent sight ever.

Above the vast stretch of green was the seemingly endless blue sky.

A figure soared overhead at a great height in the luminous sky like an eagle. Austin glided through the

clouds, looking back from time to time and scanning the skies with his piercing eyes.

Though he saw nobody behind him, deep inside, an awareness was stirring, one that told him that the

fighters of the ming Sun Valley and Blood Wolf Team were trailing him.

Both the Blood Wolf Team and the ming Sun Valley were strong forces.

Though he had reached the premium stage of Earth Realm, he wouldn''t be able to resist an attack from

an alliance of the two forces.

Having flown for more than an hour withoutnding, he had replenished himself with vital energy twice.

He knew that the vital energy stored in the vital energy stone in his elixir field was running out.

The long flight would exhaust his vital energy reserves.

''I can''t continue like this. I have tond and rest, '' said Austin to himself.

He was now far away from the Sun Sect, perhaps more than one hundred miles away. It would take the

enemies a long time to find him.

His wings folded into themselves and disappeared.

With that, he began his descent into the thick forest.

In the dense forest, a giant tree rose up and cut into the sky. But because of the countless other trees

that were even taller, it was not that conspicuous.

The top of the tree in question had a sturdy branch, full of thick, lush green leaves.

    "Phew!"

Someone let out a sigh of relief from among the branches.

A few secondster, the leaves stirred. Two hands pushed aside the branches and theely face of a

    boy appeared. Austin.

Afternding on the tree, he slumped down on the sturdy branch and leaned back against the trunk,

soaked with sweat. Breathing fast and hard, he wiped his forehead.

For more than an hour, Austin had consumed the vital energy to maintain the pping of the wings on

his back. It had not only caused a great loss of vital energy, but also exhausted him both physically and

    mentally.

"Thank goodness I managed to get away!" Austin said to himself, relieved. "What a narrow escape!

And the vital energy stored in the vital energy stone is almost exhausted. But it doesn''t matter. I''ll find a

    chance to fill it up."

"Master, it seems that the ming Sun Valley and the Blood Wolf Teams won''t give up on catching you.

What are you going to do next?"

Violet''s voice whispered in his head.

Austin did not reply immediately. He took a few deep breaths to clear his mind and rx his body.

As his breathing settled, he said in aposed voice:

"I''ll have to cover my tracks from now on. The ming Sun Valley and the Blood Wolf Teams must be

in hot pursuit of me now.

If they turn out in full strength to chase me, I''ll be at a disadvantage. I''m not strong enough to withstand

the attack of the two forces, now that they havee together."

Austin clenched his fists and stared into the crystal clear sky. A pale gleam of sunlight fell through the

    leaves onto his youthful face.

He knew that Dwayne and Abbott were determined to kill him. And the fighters of the ming Sun

Valley and the Blood Wolf Teams must be on the way to take his life.

"Dwayne, Abbott," said Austin with a sardonic chuckle, "you have made an enemy of me today. I hope

you won''t regret it in the future.

I retreat today because I''m not strong enough yet. But if you think I''m a gutless coward who dares to do

nothing more than run away, you are sadly mistaken.

Because one day I will find you and kill you with my own hands!"

He thought for a moment. Then, putting his arms around the trunk, he deftly slid down the tree like an

    ape.

The moment he reachednd, he thrust his feet against the ground and leapt forward. He disappeared

into the dark forest like a sh.

In the lush forest, Austin swooped through the thick trees at an incredible speed, like a big bat

    spreading its wings.

He nned to find a good hiding ce to rest and think about what to do next.

As he went forward at full speed, Austin found many low-level diabolic beasts inhabiting the forest.

Most of them were only at level 2 or level 3.

Austin hadn''te across any level 4 beasts yet.

In a forest filled with diabolic beasts, it was not easy to find somewhere he could rest without being

    disturbed.

    But Austin was lucky enough.

He found a good ce to settle down before dusk.

Tramping through the undergrowth, he came to a t piece of opennd. In front of him there was a

three or four-meter-wide crack on the mountain.

Austin came up slowly to the edge of the crack. As he looked down, all he could see was a bottomless

    abyss.

He raised his head and his gaze swept rapidly over the opposite cliff. Suddenly, a dark cave attracted

    his attention.

The cave was dozens of meters away from the top of the mountain. It didn''t look like a man-made

cave. Rather, it looked like some diabolic beast had opened it with its sharp ws and great strength.

"Oh I can''t believe what I''ve found!" Austin eximed as his eyes widened. It was the perfect shelter for

him. Mist hovered around the cave so hiding in it wouldn''t expose him even if somebody passed by.

Austin stared at the dark cave, his eyes bright with excitement. There were many dark caves like that

on the cliff, but the one he had his eyes on was at the most favorable location.

Mists and fog swirled about the cave, hindering sight. So even if observed from the opposite cliff, the

cave was not easy to find. It was a perfect hiding ce.

Nevertheless, diabolic beasts were numerous in this boundless forest. So maybe the cave was a den

of some beast. He had to be careful or he might be attacked.

To be on the safe side, Austin released his spiritual sense to explore the cave.

Just as he had expected, a beast crouching on the rock appeared in his Soul Sea.

    Austin recognized it immediately.

It was a double-headed snake hawk, level 2.

"Forgive me. You''ll have to find another home," Austin said as a sly smile crossed his face.

His feet tapped on the ground and his body darted towards the cave, like a lightning splitting the clear

    sky.
