    The strongest demonic beasts all had certain intelligence. Although the demons of the ck Sea seemed more ferocious and evil than most, they did indeed have intelligence.

    Jiang Yi was astonished. Water and fire did not mix. In fact, water was detrimental to fire. Fire-elemental demonic beasts were rare in seas. Now, he was seeing a fire-elemental demon sovereign? This ball-like demon sovereign did not attack Jiang Yi either. Jiang Yi narrowed his eyes. It looked like the one that wasing from the center was the strongest of them all. It was very likely that this one was the chief of the entire ck Sea.


    Jiang Yi remained still. If he could avoid it, he would choose not to battle. He came to rescue people, not to make the demons of the ck Sea his enemies. Since neither of the two demon sovereigns attacked him, he guessed that there would be an opportunity to talk things out.

    Something was cutting through the air from in front. Jiang Yi released his divine senses and became even more shocked.

    The woman in the little ck dress stopped several kilometers in front of Jiang Yi. Her ck eyes looked at him coldly. “Human, the ck Sea does not wee you. Turn back immediately or... die!”


    Jiang Yiughed out loud. This woman’s aura was powerful. The way she talked made it clear that she was the chief of the ck Sea, but Jiang Yi was sure that he could at least severely injure her. This young woman was being a bit too cocky, wasn’t she?


    Still, Jiang Yi cupped his hands respectfully. “I am Jiang Yi. I am friends with Ao Lu of the Endless Deep Sea. I guess you can say that I have a certain affinity with you demons. I did note to the ck Sea to make you my enemies. However, I have a few friends who are stuck in one of your mystic realms. I came here to look for them. Once I find them, I will leave at once. I will not kill any more of your demons!”

    The young woman raised her eyebrows. In a cold voice, she responded, “I don’t know them! I don’t care who you are looking for. If you don’t leave now, you can only die!”


    “Hahaha!”


    Jiang Yiughed once again, waving his Fire Dragon Sword. “If that’s the case, then be prepared to witness my true prowess. However... don’t me me if you lose your life in the process!”


    “Arrogant... Kill!”


    The young woman cried out. At once, the two demon sovereigns roared and charged toward Jiang Yi. The water below began to surge, and a poisonous, ck fog began to form—threatening to engulf Jiang Yi. Jiang Yi released his divine senses to scan the surroundings. There was yet another demon sovereign below that he did not notice?


    “Smelting Divine Furnace!”


    He called out in a low voice. A huge stone furnace appeared in his hand. He focused all his essence force into the Smelting Divine Furnace. White mes shot out, surrounding Jiang Yi. The poisonous fog dissipated. This was the Nine Heaven True mes. It was not very powerful, but it was very useful for getting rid of the poisonous fog.


    Tsk! Tsk!


    Jiang Yi used his other hand to activate the Icebound Thousand Miles. This dao pattern would not do much damage to demon sovereigns either, but it could cause the seawater to be ice, and the poisonous fog to be solidified inside the sea. The temperature of the air around would drop too, causing the poisonous fog to slow down.

    Jiang Yi kept waving the Fire Dragon Sword around, not holding back his power any longer. He activated the Divinity yer and caused three True Dragons to appear once again. The ck venom dissipated almost immediately. The three Fire Dragons headed straight into the hippopotamus’ open mouth.


    Boom! Boom! Boom!


    The hippopotamus’ huge body flew backward. Its mouth and half of its face were blown into pieces. Atst, however, the ck venom that it spat out protected the rest of its body. Most of the Fire Dragons’ energy was absorbed into it as a result. This way, it managed to survive the impact.


    “Hu-hu-hu!”


    The ball-like beast on the right was now in the air. It opened its mouth, blowing out ck mes that surrounded Jiang Yi. Jiang Yi’s speed was not great: he did not manage to dodge the fire. All he could do was rely on his Mystic Divine Armor to fend against the attack.


    Jiang Yi was resistant to fires, but the ck mes were obviously different from ordinary ones. Jiang Yi’s body automatically released a transparent protectiveyer to keep the mes at bay and even absorb some of their energy. However, he began to realize that the ck smoke was prating the protectiveyer. He quickly stopped breathing and focused his essence force on his Mystic Divine Armor. He was counting on it to keep the ck smoke out!

    The sea demon hidden in the sea once again shot out ck fumes, causing Jiang Yi to be wrapped in them.


    Buzz!


    The Mystic Divine Armor did not let Jiang Yi down. It kept the ck smoke out, but Jiang Yi was both effectively blind, deaf, and mute now. The protectiveyer was already filled with the ck smoke. He could neither see nor hear. All he could do was use his divine senses to lock in on the ball-like demon sovereign.


    “Uh—”


    At that moment, he realized that the young woman in front was moving. She shot straight toward him. Her body waspletely gone. In its ce was just one single ck arrow.


    “No! Mystic Divine Armor, block!”


    Jiang Yi’s heart stopped. His soul spirit was alert to the impending threat. The ck arrow was moving way too quickly. There was not enough time for Jiang Yi to even prepare his Divinity yer. All he could do was hope that the Mystic Divine Armor would block off this attack as well.

    The young woman’s arrow shot straight through the ck mes from the ball-like demon sovereign’s mouth. It shot through Jiang Yi’s protectiveyer and the Mystic Divine Armor easily, right into Jiang Yi’s mind.


    “Huh? This is a spiritual attack!”


    Jiang Yi was so shocked that his soul almost jumped right out of his body. The Mystic Divine Armor was a divine artifact. It should have been able to fend off this spiritual attack easily, and yet it did not. Instead, it allowed it to pass right through?


    In the past, Jiang Yi would not have panicked; but that was because he had the Rainbow Soul Spear in his spiritual consciousness. Now, the Rainbow Soul Spear had merged with his primordial spirit. What could he use to fend off this spiritual attack then?


    Buzz!


    The ck arrow transformed once again in Jiang Yi’s spiritual consciousness. A small human figure appeared. It was a mini version of that young woman in the little ck dress!


    The young woman stood upright in his spiritual consciousness,ughing mirthlessly. “Jiang Yi, do you think you’re unbeatable just because you killed the Evil Thearch? Do you think you’re unbeatable just because you have divine artifacts? We of the Subus Race have demonic arts that are derived from heaven and earth itself. Even if Ao Lu himselfes, he would be my ve. Be good and stop resisting. Be my ve, or I will destroy your soul!”
