    He Lao squeezed out from the hole and exined to Jiang Yi about the situation in this Witch God’s forbidden ground. Jiang Yi was dumbfounded for a moment. If even a Vajra Realm martial expert couldn’t get out, would they be able to?


    “Something isn’t right though!”


    Jiang Yi frowned and asked, “Why didn’t I see the skeletal remains of that Vajra Realm martial expert? ording to the rumors, a Vajra Realm martial expert’s skeletons should be tough as steel and wouldn’t be eroded! And where is Yun Lu? I personally saw him jump down the cliff!”


    “On top.”


    He Lao pointed at the pce and said, “Yun Lu must be in the second or third floor. His body contains the blood of the Yun n, and this forbidden ground’s owner is also a member of the Yun n. Yun Lu must have received preferential treatment. Yun Lu might have been teleported directly to the second or the third floor. The Great Xia Kingdom’s Vajra Realm martial expert had formidable strength andprehended plenty of dao patterns. I reckoned that he must be up there, too!”


    “Up there? How do we get up there?”


    Jiang Yi blinked his confused eyes and asked, “He Lao, you saw it too. There is no exit on the first floor, and there were no signs of damage, too. No matter how powerful the Vajra Realm martial expert is, he wouldn’t be able able to directly ascend, right?”


    “We are not sure...”


    The glow in He Lao’s eyes dimmed and spoke with some shame, “My talent isn’t good and can onlyprehend one type of dao pattern.     “Then do we have any hope of escaping?” Jiang Yi asked a crucial question. He Lao seemed to have lived over seventy or eighty years and was very knowledgeable. If he said it was impossible, then this matter was definitely elusive.


    “Sure!”


    He Lao pointed at the highest floor and said, “I reckon that if we can enter the fifth floor, we will have a chance to escape! We might even be able to obtain the treasures left by this martial expert and the inheritance of the sorcery arts!”

    Jiang Yi was reinvigorated as he shouted, “What are we waiting for? He Lao, send me up and as long as I can approach the highest floor, I will be able to break through the pce wall and enter directly!”

    He Lao already knew that Jiang Yi possessed the Fire Spirit Rock which could scorch through the pce wall. He had heard of the tyranny of the Fire Spirit Rock, too. He nodded his head excitedly, meaning he was already prepared.


    Swish!


    Jiang Yi did a takeoff run and circted his essence force, turning his body into an afterimage as he rushed at the pce. Both of his legs were constantly stepping on the smooth white jade walls, borrowing strength to push himself higher.


    Jiang Yi’s jump took up more than sixty meters, and it was already the highest he could go. His first star sphere was circting the red essence force in a frenzy while the Fire Dragon Sword appeared in his hand. The instant heunched the two fire dragons out, he burst out and yelled, “He Lao!”


    “Young Master Yi, beware!”


    When He Lao exchanged eye contact with Jiang Yi, he immediately understood Jiang Yi’s thoughts. He suddenlyunched arge palm print towards the sky, aiming at the two fire dragons. Once he sent out therge palm print, he quickly dodged to the side.


    Boom!


    As the two fire dragons and therge palm print shed, there was a violent explosion. A deafening rumble could be heard, which shook everyyer of the sky. The horrific st spread out in all directions. Since He Lao’s attack was obviously stronger, the st towards the sky was much more ferocious. Of course, He Lao had already intentionally restrained himself. Otherwise, the impact would be even more aggressive; and Jiang Yi would be injured by the shockwave.


    “He Lao, you be careful, too!”


    Jiang Yi didn’t mind it and yelled out. His Fire Spirit Pearl lit up as an endless amount of Earth Fire spewed out, enveloping his entire body.


    There was a qi wave that surged from below, sting Jiang Yi’s body high up into the sky. The Earth Fire exploded and was spraying all over, frightening He Lao so much that his body shivered. If he was hit by the Earth Fire, his body might have a few more holes in it.


    “Sess!”


    As He Lao was dodging the Earth Fire, he was instantly ecstatic to see Jiang Yi sted high up into the sky. As long as Jiang Yi could reach the highest floor, he could use the Fire Spirit Rock to scorch through the wall, obtaining easy ess. By then, Jiang Yi could throw down a rope and pull him up as well.


    Buzz...


    All of a sudden, there was a strange urrence!


    Jiang Yi’s body—which was shot up over a hundred meters—reached the altitude of the second floor, but the sky suddenly brightened up with white light. When Jiang Yi made contact with that white light, he was immediately repelled. Jiang Yi violently spurted a mouthful of fresh blood, and the Earth Fire quickly vanished. His body fell down like a sack.


    “Young Master Yi!”


    He Lao was shocked. He quickly leaped into mid-air and caught Jiang Yi. He looked towards the white radiating restriction in the sky and cursed softly. “The owner of this Witch God’s forbidden ground is too ruthless. He actually set up an invisible restriction in the sky!”


    “Pfff!”


    Jiang Yi was sted by the shockwave and was rebounded by the restriction on top. It was imaginable how much Jiang Yi suffered from the attack from both sides. Fortunately, none of his bones were broken; and he just suffered some damage to his inner organs.


    He consumed a recuperation elixir and closed his eyes to regte his breathing. He then opened his eyes with agony and said, “He Lao. What should we do? It is obvious that we cannot directly go to the top floor.”


    “Sigh.”


    He Lao let out a sigh and looked towards that hole in the pce and said helplessly, “There is no other way. We can only find another way to ascend from the second floor. Young Master Yi, you should recuperate first. I reckon that the second, third, and fourth floors are all dangerous. If we aren’t careful, we might just fall in this ce.”


    “En.”


    Jiang Yi silently nodded and closed his eyes to recuperate. He Lao started to wander the valley, looking for any form of mechanism. Even though he was already prepared to die when he entered this ce, nobody desired death. As long as there was a chance for survival, he and Jiang Yi would never give it up.


    Six hourster, He Lao came back and Jiang Yi finished his recuperation. The two of them looked at each other speechlessly. Jiang Yi took out some rations and clean water from the Fire Spirit Pearl. The two of them ate until they were full before they stood up and walked towards the narrow hole on the pce wall.


    After entering the first floor of the pce, Jiang Yi and He Lao looked at each other. Jiang Yi then ran towards the wall again, jumping up more than sixty meters. A piece of fiery red little rock appeared from his Fire Spirit Pearl, he then used his hand to toss it at the stone ceiling above his head.


    Tsk-Tsk!


    The instant when the green mes came out from the Fire Spirit Rock, He Lao immediately retreated with horror. The temperature was terrifyingly high, and even though he was over a few hundred meters away, he could still feel his entire body burning up.


    Buzz!


    A blinding light glowed up on the ceiling above his head as the Fire Spirit Rock burned the restriction, and the ceiling opened up a passage that was as big as a head.


    “It is through!”


    Jiang Yinded and stared above. When he saw traces of light, he was instantly delighted. He Lao rushed over and nodded with excitement while saying, “Young Master Yi, this rock of yours is too terrifying. It can even burn through such a powerful restriction!”


    “He Lao, step back. I am going to expand that passage, and we will be able to go up.”


    Jiang Yi yelled out and rushed towards the wall again. He waited for his body tounch up into mid-air before he shot out another Fire Spirit Rock.


    Tsk-Tsk!


    Jiang Yi had a very urate aim, and the Fire Spirit Rock quickly expanded the passage to the size where they could barely fit in. He then took a few nces through the passage and spoke in a strange stone, “He Lao, take a look. The second floor looks exactly the same, and it doesn’t seem dangerous. I don’t feel any presence of life in there, too.”
