    The Western Hills had beautiful scenery. It was noontime, and the warm sun shone down upon thends, evaporating the morning dew on the Western Hills. A green mist was rising in spirals, giving the entire Western Hills dream-like scenery.


    Jiang Yi’s body was currently covered in sunlight, but he couldn’t feel any warmth. Instead, his entire body was ice cold, chilling to the bones.


    Through the shrubbery, he could see that there indeed were people lying in ambush. There were over twenty of them, all wearing green robe and ck scarf to cover their faces. They were all in different strength levels, but they had one thing inmon—they were all equipped with weapons, and their eyes were filled with a murderous aura.


    <i>Ma Heiqi! Ma Fei!</i>


    Jiang Yi clenched his teeth so hard that a throbbing sound could be heard, his expression even more furious than before. It was logical that Jiang Rulong and Jiang Ruhu wanted to kill him and lured him here by kidnapping Jiang Xiaonu. But he couldn’t ept the fact that the members of the Ma n were here on the Western Hills, too. Ma Heiqi and Ma Fei had their faces covered, too; but Jiang Yi knew their eyes all too well. A single nce was more than enough for him to recognize them.


    The Ma n and the Jiang n had a feud. Jiang Rulong had once crippled two of the Ma nsmen, and Ma Heiqi regrly beat up the members of Jiang n. But because of Jiang Yi, Ma Heiqi and Jiang Rulong actually set up an alliance? This made him feel ridiculous,mentable, and hateful.


    Back then, Jiang Ruhu and his group bullied him. When his strength waspetent enough, he broke the leg the Jiang Ruhu and also the leg of Jiang Rulong. All these weren’t any big problems; after all, the Jiang nsmen regrly had fights. But... why did they have to do it like this? To always target him? Even coborating with outsiders to deal with him?


    Jiang Yi forced himself to stay calm. He scanned the woods and retreated once again. He dashed towards the other side and noticed a Ma nsman inside of a bush, lying in ambush.


    “Swish!”


    The enemy was a scout who was at the third stage of the Cast Tripod Realm, coupled with Jiang Yi’s sneak attack. The Green Destiny Sword shed, and the Ma nsman got cut in the throat before he even had the chance to react.


    “Tsk!”


    Fresh blood spurted violently, covering Jiang Yi’s face in blood, but he didn’t wipe it off. Jiang Yi quickly took off and wore the green robe and the ck cloth. He even smeared the blood on his neck, face, and body and then swiftly rushed into the woods.


    “Help, help me...”


    He intentionally changed his voice and started screaming before approaching the woods. Jiang Yi’s body copsed on the ground with disheveled hair and messed up robes. His blood-drenched body looked like a Ma nsman who got severely injured.


    “Swish!”


    Jiang Yi’s voice rmed the people inside the woods. Countless shadows rushed over and got a shock when they saw Jiang Yi. As Jiang Yi wore the green robe of the Ma n’s, had his face covered with a cloth, and had blood all over his body; the Ma nsmen naturally couldn’t recognize him. They scattered like bees to search for the enemy.


    “Ma Di, what happened to you? Who did this to you?”


    Along with Ma Heiqi, a few of the Ma nsmen hurried over to Jiang Yi and asked. Their eyes scanned the surroundings with lightning speed, looking for the shadows of the enemy.


    Ma Heiqi was severely injured by Jiang Yi yesterday. A few bones in his left shoulder were broken, but the Ma n was obviously willing to use their precious earth-tier elixirs to help him recuperate. Although he seemed to still have some impaired movements, his overall condition was restored.


    Jiang Yi didn’t lift his head, but his body contorted constantly and struggled to raise one hand to point to the left side.


    “Swish! Swish! Swish!”


    Countless eyes looked towards the direction Jiang Yi pointed to. They saw a whole patch of shrubbery while letting out a murderous light in their eyes and dashed in.


    “Huh?”


    They couldn’t find anyone after entering the shrubs. Ma Heiqi saw the few of theming out while shaking their heads, his expression turned dark and shouted, “Split up and look...”


    Right at this moment!


    Jiang Yi’s body suddenly moved. Ma Heiqi was about a dozen meters away from him. Jiang Yi wanted to wait till he was nearer, but Ma Heiqi didn’t walk towards him. Another three Ma nsmen were approaching, and he would be exposed if he continued lying still.


    Pushing himself off the ground with his legs, his body wasunched towards Ma Heiqi like a sharp sword, and yet his eyes were opened wide and filled with fear. Jiang Yi’s eyes didn’t look at Ma Heiqi, but behind him instead. He intentionally changed his voice and let out a fearful scream, “Young Master, beware! Jiang Rulong tricked you!”


    “Uh?”


    The sudden jump of Jiang Yi shocked Ma Heiqi. When he heard those words, his expression instantly changed while he turned around vigorously and couldn’t see anything behind him. Even though Jiang Rulong and his group got alerted, too; but they wouldn’t be able to rush here in time.


    <i>Not good! I got tricked!</i>


    Suddenly, Ma Heiqi was dragged back to realization by the killing aura from Jiang Yi’s body. The other three who were walking towards Jiang Yi shouted, “Young Master Qi, be careful! He isn’t Ma Di!”


    “Toote. Take my Exploding Essence Palm!”


    Jiang Yi sneered while his right hand lit up with a blue light. The essence force was rotating on the palm and seemed just like yesterday’s Exploding Essence Palm. But... it didn’t have any ck light?


    “Jiang Yi?”


    Ma Heiqi turned around only to see a palm mming at him; he instantly got riddled with terror: Jiang Yi’s palm was aiming at this lower part of the body. If it hit, the exploding essence force would destroy his dantian in the abdomen.


    At the crucial moment, Ma Heiqi activated his formidable strength, forcing himself to fly backward by kicking on the ground while forcing his abdomen to contract. With hands like lightning, he tried to grasp Jiang Yi’s hand. He would rather have his hands blown into a bloody mess than to have any damage to his dantian.


    “Fool! You got tricked again!”


    Jiang Yi scoffed and took out the Green Destiny Sword from his sleeve. A green trajectory slid across Ma Heiqi’s leg.


    A miserable yell could be heard. The Green Destiny Sword was a Treasure Artifact, and as long as it was fed with essence force, it would be able to slice metal like mud. Ma Heiqi had ced his entire attention at Jiang Yi’s right hand; how would he notice the sneak attack from his left hand?


    A huge leg flew across while Ma Heiqi’s body crashed to the ground, and he tumbled while letting out miserable screams.


    “Young Master Qi!”


    “Young Master!”


    The nearby Ma nsmen shouted with fear. Those Ma nsmen, who split up to search, turned around to look—all got rmed!


    Ma Heiqi’s leg was forcefully severed? He was now apletely disabled man?


    Who was Ma Heiqi? He was the elite of Ma n’s current generation and the genius that had high chances of entering the Mt. Spirit Beast College. Even if he didn’t, he would definitely be one of the recruitment targets of the West Garrison Army. He would probably be the next n Head of the Ma n in the future. But now, he actually became a disabled trash? All the Ma nsmen were truly frightened. If Ma Kui got to know of this information, he would be so infuriated that he woulde on this Western Hills and kill all the Ma nsmen who were involved.


    “Swish!”


    The Ma nsmen were in a state of shock, but not Jiang Yi. His body rolled on the ground and in between two Ma nsmen. The Green Destiny Sword made two arcs and took off two legs from the two stunned Ma nsmen.


    “Ah... Ah!”


    Two miserable yells were heard as their legs got cut off, and they began to tumble on the ground like Ma Heiqi. Jiang Yi stood up from the ground and rushed at the other Ma nsmen like a vicious wolf.


    “Kill him, kill him!”


    A Ma nsman finally awoke from his daze and shouted while rushing at Jiang Yi. The rest of the people let out a murderous intent in their eyes. If they didn’t kill Jiang Yi today, they wouldn’t be able to give Ma Kui a good exnation. Suddenly, a dozen frenzied menunched an assault at Jiang Yi.


    But there were one or two of them who were clear-minded and quickly descended the hills. Such a huge thing happened; they had to report back to the Ma n. Ma Heiqi being crippled was as serious as though the sky got pierced.


    “Hurhur!”


    Seeing countless equipped men rushing at him, Jiang Yi’s face let out a sneer. He advanced toward the area that had the most amount of people, instead of retreating. He channeled a wisp of ck essence force to enhance his eyes.


    The more people, the more chaotic. His ck essence force allowed him to have an insane reaction ability. The people here didn’t have much strength, except for Ma Heiqi: the rest of them were at the sixth stage of the Cast Tripod Realm at best. What did Jiang Yi have to fear? In his eyes, this group was like a group of sheep, waiting for him to ughter.


    “Swish!”


    Like a violent wind, Jiang Yi moved into the crowd. He held the Green Destiny Sword and released the Phantom Punch. There was a sudden burst of green sword shadows.


    “Ah...”


    A wave of miserable screams could be heard. Everyone in the crowd had differences in strength; they were mostly youngsters and would probably be useful in a casual fight. But when talking about a real fight, they were just a ragtag band of a mob. Jiang Yi’s reaction speed was too insanely fast, and the Green Destiny Sword was a Treasure Artifact which their regr weapons couldn’t block against. After a couple of arms and legs was severed by Jiang Yi, it had be instant chaos. The people in front wanted to retreat due to fear while the people at the back were still rushing in frenzy. Of course, it would get chaotic.


    “Swish!”


    Jiang Rulong and his group were naturally alerted as they hurried over here. But when they saw the situation, their pupils shrank and expressions instantly changed. Many of them instantly bent over and vomited.


    Purgatory in the Human World!


    During the period of time when they hurried here, this side hadpletely turned into hell. At least seven of them had severed limbs; another two had their abdomens sliced open with intestines all over the ce. The entire ce was dyed red in blood. Numerous people were hugging their severed limbs while tumbling on the ground, letting out miserable screams. Jiang Yi was still shining brightly in the crowd; his Green Destiny Sword was like the Grim Reaper’s sickle, brandishing non-stop.


    “Jiang Yi! It’s Jiang Yi!”


    Jiang Ruhu’s eyes were sharp, recognizing Jiang Yi’s face even when it was covered by a ck cloth. His hair was disheveled, his robes were in a mess, and he was covered in blood all over his body. But Jiang Yi’s ice cold eyes left a deep impression on Jiang Ruhu, which he could never forget.


    “Brother Long, what should we do? Urghh...”


    Jiang Song’s entire body was trembling, and his face turned green; he was in aplete state of fright. He wanted to run off the hills, but his legs were soft and couldn’t even walk. His stomach was churning so badly that he bent over to vomit.


    “This is going to be troublesome...”


    Jiang Rulong’s expression didn’t look good. Ma Heiqi and many of their Ma nsmen were crippled, and they were at the scene. The one who caused this was Jiang Yi, but what would the Ma n think? They would assume that it was the Jiang n who set up the trap to ensnare Ma Heiqi. It would probably incite a war between the Ma and the Jiang ns!


    His eyes flickered for a few times and soon came up with an idea. He looked at Jiang Ruhu at his side and shouted, “What are you waiting for? Go bring thess here! If we don’t capture Jiang Yi alive, we will be in trouble!”


    “Ahh... Heiqi! Who hurt Young Master Heiqi?! I, Ma Yin, am going to tear him apart!”


    At this crucial moment, a shocking roar could be heard in the entire hills. It was so loud that caused everyone’s ear membranes to be in pain.


    Jiang Rulong’s expressionpletely changed; he frantically yelled, “Not good. The Ma n has reinforcement, and he is an expert of the Purple Mansion Realm. Send out the signal to ask for our n’s reinforcements, or else he would kill us all...”
