    Isra POV


    Tari and I had finally caught up to Cerberus and were ning to tackle him. Ready mama? Tari called


    out in my head. I gave a nod and we both leaped on him as he rolled to his side three pairs of eyes


    trained on us. He gave us a show with a fake whimper and limping. Gotcha daddy wolf! Tari called in


    our link. I loved this feeling knowing our pup was finally safe as well as our pack even having my mate


    back was more than I could ever dream. "What''s got you so dreamy eyed my love?" Cerberus asked


    while two heads entertained our princess one focused solely on me. Red piercing rubies reflected my


    green ones. I love him so much it hurts in a way. "It hurts in a way because you knew what it felt like to


    lose me. You''d never let go again now if faced with it again. You''d die too" He said putting my thoughts


    into an exnation. "Don''t ever leave us again!" I tucked my head under his and nuzzled him trying to


    take in all of his scent. Tari gave a growl trying to regain all of our attention. Her father nipped at her as


    he enticed her to more rough housing. I shifted back to my human form watching the two. "Alpha, Luna


    a few pack members have been sent to the holding cells." Luke came up to us breathless as thought


    he didn''t bother to shift to get to us. "What do you mean beta?" Cerberus scooted Tari behind him.


    "They went on a berserk rampage. Speaking to over throw you and your Luna." Luke said bowing his


    head. I growled at the thought of someone wanting my mates position as Alpha. It''s a very unlikely


    scenario but it would put Tari in jeopardy if she weren''t the alpha''s daughter, she wouldn''t be a priority


    to the pack and cause her harm due to her small form physically she appears weakpared to other


    pups only her father and i knew better. I need to protect her and I could feel the same emotions from


    my mate. We need to keep her safe. This isnt about our titles anymore, this wasn''t about him being a


    king or myself being a Queen. We had to protect Tari at all cost no matter how much power she had.


    My thoughts were at once consumed by the many horrible things that could happen to her. Her being

    wounded or killed. The effect it would have on me as her mother, and what''s worse the effect it would


    have on her Hell spawned demon king father.


    "Mate we must go address this at once!" I yelled. Cerberus shifted and scooped Tari into his arms. "We


    will mate....". He says as though daydreaming. "We will!" He roared to me causing me to cower back in


    submission. He looks at me with such an unfamiliar gaze, something almostpletely primitive.


    I stare harder at him and notice the edge in his voice and the threat in his eyes. He will kill anyone


    without second thought. I felt that same energy consume me. "No matter what mate." I dere.


    "No matter what!" Cerberus snarls to me. I felt his mes wrap around me and i once again was


    dressed in my formal dress with my crown ced upon my head. Luke bowed to us both as he asked


    "Your orders?" I smiled to my mate knowingly. "We feast yet again" Cerberus roars with joy
