Chapter 4


    *ke''s POV*


    Wiping the sweat from my arms, I get mentally prepared for another rep. I took the rest of the morning


    to go work out after the kitchen fiasco. Working out is a bitch sometimes, but training is necessary in


    our pack. You don''t train you don''t eat or even stay in this pack for that matter. A few years ago Luke,


    Tyler, and I converted one of the old warehouses on the territory into a gym for training purposes. I


    allow males in whenever but the females and pups are only allowed in on their scheduled training


    times. Unmated females train with my stronger mated females and same with the pups. I never allow


    them all in at the same time. Werewolves are asses, no sense in sugar coating it. I typically don''t care if


    I see the guys being jack asses to females just so long as it''s not during training.


    I got up from the bench and walked over to get a drink as I look to my side I see a group of younger


    males picking on the omega, Sable. Sable originally came to us as a rogue a few years ago and the


    only reason I didn''t kill her was Tyler felt sorry for her and stepped over her when I went in for the kill.


    She''s small 5''1 and when we found her she only weighed 95lbs now she''s a solid 112lbs. As the


    omega she''s the lowest ranked wolf in my pack. She deals with a lot of shit, gets pushed around, ys


    human punching bag, and I hear the females tease her a lot and talk shit about her. The guys are just


    giving her a hard time, I try not to think too hard about it as I put in headphones and make my way back


    to the bench when I hear a loud snarle from the group. Then that beautiful scent of my


    troublesome mate hits me. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck


    *Isras POV*


    I rush between the group of males and the young female. I snarl to let them know I don''t appreciate


    their behavior. I tten my ears back, stiffen my tail, and pull my lips back making my canines apparent.


    I look over my shoulder to make sure the female is ok. She is shaking and seems afraid of me now. I


    back my body into hers to let her know I am here for her. I feel her rx a little and turn my attention


    back on the males.


    "What''s up bitch wanna fight?" The young male spat at me. I snarled again and shifted. I shook out my


    fur as it was raised on my neck. The male challenging me also shifted. Though his form wasrger than


    mine I had no doubts I could take him. Between the two of us was just loud snarls. He was wanting me


    to submit and raised his head at me and stared me down. I leaned back on my haunches prepared to


    pounce when ke appeared in front of me and grabbed the young male by the scruff and lifted him


    effortlessly. The wolf whimpered and curled its tail between his legs. ke looked from the wolf to me. I


    saw something different in his eyes.


    The iris was now red, the corner of his lips tilted up in a smile. In one swift motion he snapped the


    young wolf''s neck and dropped it to the floor. "Anyone else wanna be reminded who the alpha is here?"


    He snarled at the group of now terrified youngsters in front of him. The group looked down at the wolf


    on the floor and looked back up to ke, being careful not to look in his eyes as not to challenge him.


    They scattered off out of the building.


    I shifted back to my (almost) human form and turn to look at the girl behind me. I reach out and pull her


    close to me and rub my scent on her. ke let out a warning growl that I echoed back to him baring my


    teeth. I turned back to face the young girl. "Have you been caused any harm?" I said sniffing her. "No,


    i''m fine. why did you help me? This sort of thing happens often you didn''t need to risk yourself to help


    me. Thank you though so much." She said wrapping her arms around me. I heard ke snarl and I


    barked at him. The girls eyes looked from me to ke and she froze in fear. "You''re the Alpha!" she


    eximed in surprise cupping her hands to her mouth, lowering her head and leaning closer into me.


    "Yes and you''re getting real fucking close and cuddly with my mate." He snarled at her. I rubbed my


    body in hers again before pulling away to face ke. "Mate! We do not appreciate you responding this


    way. The female was ufortable and I sensed her distress and came to help. Why did you not


    intervene?" I fired at him, my words sharp and coated in anger. I growled at him taking in note that his


    iris was still red. He growled and bent down to meet me at eye level. "We will discuss thister." He


    whispered in my ear. I ttened them back to let him know i was not backing down if he felt the need to


    attack me.


    It''s very rare of mates to fight physically but being an Alpha''s mate I had to consider how much respect


    I was supposed to show him. He stormed off to another room. I backed away towards the girl and held

    my hand out to take hers. "We are Isra, what is your name young one?" I asked smiling at her. "I''m


    Sable your omega, Luna" she addressed me with that dreadful name again. "Please call us Isra,


    Sable." I said to her. I noticed her blush at my nudity. It didn''t bother me much to show my bare skin


    since most of my time is spent in wolf form up until I found ke. Luke appeared in behind me and


    handed me a shirt. "From alpha." He said gruffly and looked to the wolf''s dead body still near us. He


    mumbled something to himself before lifting the body and carrying it out, no doubt to expose of it. I


    struggled to pull the ck shirt on over my head as Sable aided me. "Thank you." I smiled at her. I saw


    her brown eyes light up in excitement. She had shoulder length brown hair and a small frail looking


    body at leastpared to mine. "We could feel your distress." I said looking at her.


    "We?" she asked tilting her head sideways. "Yes my human and I." I responded to her impatiently and


    she whimpered a little. "You aren''t one with your human?" she asked me. I was taken aback by her


    question. I never considered myself human at all until I was in this form. I don''t feel all that much


    different in my wolf forme to think of it. My mind did not change at all either I thought exactly the


    same in either form. I shook my head and simply said "I am Isra either way." Sable looked down


    dropping the subject. I smiled at her, something inside me just had a strong urge to protect her and


    guard her fiercely. "Would you mind staying close to me Sable?" I asked looking to her. "I uh- uh well


    it''s just that I''m only an omega." She said sounding so helpless.


    "And as the omega you are just as important to this pack as the Alpha. We all have parts in the pack


    we must y to ensure it runs efficiently." I say nuzzling my face to the side of her face. "Really?" she


    said not pulling away from my almost inappropriate affection considering our different ranks. "Yes


    Sable, you are the foundation of the pack emotionally. You should be the one anyone in the pack can


    turn to in times of distress or loneliness. You should be everyone''s close confidant and trusted friend


    when needed." I said reassuring her role to her. She seemed as though she''d never heard the role of


    omega exined to her that way. I could see she was taking it in slowly. I nuzzled her again for


    leaned my head closer to her hand. "Why don''t you have a full human appearance?" she asked


    rubbing my right ear softly. "I couldn''t tell you." Iughed in delight. She let out a soft giggle. "Let''s


    spend time together my dear Sable." I dered to her with a wide grin. "Let''s go to the pack bath. It''s a


    hot spring it''s only a short mile away towards the northern border." She responded tugging me along


    out of the gym.


    *ke''s POV*


    I was still fuming when I made my way to my office. I mmed my door shut recalling the previous


    events. I was angry at her for leaving my room yet again. I was pissed that younger male tried to


    challenge her his LUNA. His alpha female. I should have allowed the mutt to live so I could teach him


    some manners, I smirked to myself. I remembered before I killed him I let a side of me take over that


    shouldn''t especially around Isra. I let my demon side control me. I am half wolf half demon. That''s why


    I''m known for being ruthless and evil. No one other than my parents and Luke know. Everyone else just


    thinks I don''t have a heart. It''s being part demon that makes killing so easy no matter who it is, I''ve


    killed females, elderly, and pups especially since I''ll eat a pup that''s not mine and on my territory


    attended or unattended. Blood feeds the demon in me it has to kill to eat which is how it works for my


    wolf so I''m a pretty stable hybrid. My parents are both full blooded wolves they said there may have


    been a demon on my father''s side somewhere in the beginning of that family lineage.


    I keep thinking back to how Isra was challenging me in front of our subordinates. She may be there


    Luna but I am still her alpha. I growled at myself. I sat at my desk and mind linked Luke to ask where


    Isra was now. When he responded I told him to meet me in my office so we could go retrieve her. "Time


    to put mate in her ce." My wolf snarled at me in my head. I couldn''t agree more. Time to put my sexy


    feisty little alpha femme in her ce. Right underneath me and preferably on her knees.
