Chapter 13 : Peculiarities


    "Jonas rejected you on your first Meeting, isn''t that too humiliating?" David went back into the room as


    he said and picked up the dirty clothes from the bed and floor.


    Anaya looked up and saw a woman on his bed, covered with sheets, her eyes closed.


    Anaya felt shivers all over her body.


    Was that David''s mate? It couldn''t be.

    David threw the mens and womens clothes into the basket andughed at her before closing the door

    Anaya was so frightened that she dropped theundry basket.

    Anaya looked down at thest night.So he brought a girl too? Anaya honesty didn''t mind.


    She didn''t love him and their bond was broken, so it didn’t matter if he brought one or a dozen girls


    home to satisfy himself.


    Anaya finished theundry and when lunch time came, she was only given a corn on the cob.


    When the housekeeper gave it to her, Anaya was disappointed but not surprised.She expected this

    "I''ll take my leave then." Anaya said to the housekeeper after finishing her work at the Alpha''s house.


    She left the house and walked to her own house.

    "Mom, Anaya is sad too.Why are you talking like this?"


    Charlotte said and then turned to look at Anaya with sympathy, "Anaya, don''t take mom''s words to


    heart.You don''t have to feel sorry for yourself.Maybe it was a mistake on the goddess’ part.How could


    you and Jonas be a pair? The difference is too obvious.But don''t worry, just endure it for a while and


    after I be the Luna, I''ll make sure that no one will point at you anymore."


    Anaya frowned as she heard thast part, "Luna?"


    Charlotte smiled, "Yes, yesterday you left the party early so you probably don''t know.The Alpha''s family


    have been talking to mom and dad for a while and want me and David to be a pair.Yesterday David


    proposed to me in front of everyone.Once l am eighteen, I''ll be the Luna.Until then David and I


    can choose to date or be single.David said he doesn''t want to date me right now because I am too


    young, so we decided to get together at sixteen."
