Chapter 27: 27. Treaty
Lord Augustin has left his soul, leaving his body for us to watch.His eyes were still red, sparkling and
staring at his kids.I thought of leaving those two crickets in fire, burning them into ashes but then I
remembered those words of Mr.Andrew.
So I took the cross in my right hand like his instructions and stepped my left foot first into the door,
unlike others I was not thrown away. I took the kids with me and came out of the room.They were
looking at me with their puppy eyes.
But when they saw their father lying down with blood, they ran towards him, shaking him, pulling his
beards, trying to open his eyes and trying to wake him.Then those two started crying out loud, I
motioned the servants to take them, close their mouth so that they wont test my patience.
I approached Mr.Andrews and he hypnotized the kids, erasing their old memories. Then he took the
blood from the cup, which I collected earlier. He took the kids with him and went inside a dark room
with all those he collected from me. After a long time he approached me with a ne in his hand
,which have a diamond locket covered with a hemisphere.
"Only if you agree for the treaty,only if you are sure that you wont break it at any instance."He said with
his usual metallic voice. Old man with new conditions but I-am ready to ept it.
"Yes, I promise you that this treaty wont be broken.As you said, this ne has the full power right ?"
My excitement was visible on my tone.
He had a sarcasm on his face, "Well, notpletely. We humans cannot trust your blood thirst. So the
Red stone which I was wearing previously is divided into two parts. Joined with the blood of the Lord
and soul of the high priest, thats me."
"What do you mean? You said you will give me that Red stone right? And now you say you cant trust
us." My tone ranged from anger to anxiety, furrowing my brows, watching him keenly.
"I do, and I do keep my words. The one part of the ne is with you,like I said. You should not harm
any innocent people''s. We need to protect ourself too, thats why we need the Red stone too.
This one is for you." He handed me the Red stone before I could open my mouth he continued, "This
one has its own power and the one which is in my hand has its own power. This will be more powerful
than yours because in general humans are weaker than vampires."
He stopped when he saw me rolling my eyes. He smiled at me and continued his conversation.
" Does that make sense Mr. Peterson. Now you are the new king and you have the power in your
hands. But still there will be rebels who suck out our blood for fun and we have to protect ourselves
from them. This ne can be joined only by the one who is blood rted to Lord Augustin and soul
rted to me."
We both looked at those lost kids, they smiled at us simultaneously, Mr. Andrews had a side for those
kids, he called them and hugged them. And shown them an area to y, they ran towards there.
"So is this it ?" I folded my hands,moving my head from one side to the other.
"No, there will be a protector from my sessors to protect the Red stone and the humans. They will
be having multiple powers and ability. Only the protector and the blood of Lord can join this Red stone
and aplish its full power.Those kids will be having a kind of bond with the Red stone and the
protector."
I dropped my n of killing those kids, I faked a smile and took the kids and went to the castle. From
that day onwards I ruled the kingdom, I was the Lord. I had a different n for the kids, better than
killing.
I was bored ruling the kingdom, I was not having the fun of killing and drinking those pure blood. Those

Lance, who is now 7 was ying hide and seek with his brother Hance and his friends. Hance was

Lance''s eyes widened, he stood beside his brother and took his hands in his hand. " Hance, I trust you,

backward, Hance held Lance''s hand and took him into the forest. Others followed them, they were
surprised to see the wolf, being dead near the tree.

Hance smiled at them and hugged Lance for being with him and trusting him.

I was scarred with their bond but Ben gave me a n, Making Hance cruel will do me a favor, what
happened earlier was just a sign. I told Ben to make use of this opportunity. This two brothers will hate
each other one day, and Hance will definitely kill innocent humans. Ben became close to Hance. He

his direction. His menacing eyes were a zing red and his dark hood made the rest of his features
indistinguishable.I thrust my sword forward, only to be met by his sword. Both sword met in the air with
a resounding ''ng''. The man was a master swordsman.
The Red stone might be the reason for his powerful moves and strength. He with a blue colored
luminous from his hand thrown us all into the air and vanished away. Its is not easy to capture that Red
stone.
