Chapter 13: 13. Unveiled


    " Ze" A scream heard from behind. It was Merlin shouting from the house.


    " Ze,e lets go inside."She took her hand and walked inside and then she turned back and stared


    at him by putting her fangs out.


    " sister, you took her from me today,but she will be mine always."he shouted to Merlin.


    Merlin crossed her bows. Took Ze inside.


    Ze looked confused and she asked.


    " why did you take me inside? Why is Lance still outside? He must be hurt because of this. What


    happened?"


    " well, I wanted to show you something". and she took her to a big hall with so much of paintings.


    Ze was going through those paintings.


    Suddenly Lance came into the room " you both are here. I was searching for you everywhere."


    Ze watched him surprisingly from head to toe.


    He gave a curved smile.


    " well then both of you can enjoy. Im going to sleep. Good night Ze" said Merlin.


    " good night." And she told to herself, " she is ridiculous. She is acting weird. She took me away from


    Lance and now she is letting me stay with him" Ze rolled her eyes.


    Lance rubbed her soft hands and smiled at her. He hold her closer to him and asked.


    " Are you scared my dear?"


    " a little bit but not when you are with me" she smiled at him.Their eyes where looking each others. She


    felt protected in his hand. He locked her in his arms such that nobody could steal her from him.


    "Are you ying fancy dress"She asked humorously. Then with concern Ze asked Lance. " Did


    Merlin hurt you and why did you change your dress?"


    Lance answered like a dumb " what?"


    She repeats " did she hurt you when she brought me inside, early when we were talking outside.And


    that dress suits you best."


    " what?" His eyes widened " you went near him?"


    " him?"


    " no! I mean me.. uhh.. I mean you came to me. I just forgot and what else happened. Just some sort of


    stress. I forgot what happened. Can u exin me about it" his voice was shivering.


    " well when I came to you, you said that you are waiting for me." She punched his stomach and said "


    you were very romantic when you was outside, not the shy type. You hugged me very tightly, it was


    very.." sheughed. "the way you rubbed my face gave me tinkling..." she hid her face on his chest.


    Lance clenched his fist. He shook his head has nothing had happened.


    He told his self '' how dare he is,I wont leave him.he will pay for this.''


    With a sharp voice he asked " And then?"


    " then what, Merlin took me inside. I think you were angry at her, were you? And now you act like you


    don''t know anything that had happened."


    Lance hugged her and kissed in her forehead


    " no darling. Nobody can hurt you when I''m alive."


    She hugged him back tight.


    " but nobody did. What is wrong Lance."


    Lance held her face in his arms and said " I will do anything for you. I love you so much. Like the star


    loves the sky, fishes loves the sea, sand loves the desert. I will be nothing without you." he hugged her


    tight leaned towards her and asked " Do you love me?"


    She watched his eyes, their eyes are locked, she smiled at him and her lips locked his. She kissed him


    and lost into a different world , drawing themselves together as one body and one soul. They are


    onestep forward than what they were. They became more closer than they think. There came a bond


    between them which nobody can separate.


    She rubbed his hair with her fingers. His hand run on the back of her up to her waist. He pulled her


    more closer to him.He kissed her lower lip and he apart her lips and was asking for the permission. She


    let his tongue run through her mouth. She kissed him back, smoothly and was moaning with pleasure.


    They both gasped for breathe and smiling at each other. They both spend a lot of time each other


    smiling andughing. They held their hands tight and whispered to each other that I love You.


    Lance took Ze to her room. He greeted her good night and she greeted him back. They both were


    staring at each other. Ze went back to the bed.She recalled all the beautiful moments happened few


    minutes before and pulled herself close to the nket. She closed her eyes and falls deep into sleep.


    Few hours passes by but She suddenly wake up from her deep sleep due to some movement near her


    leg. She opens her eyes to see a figure standing near to her. She rubbed her eyes, she figured out that


    it was Lance.


    He was staring at her with anger. He noticed that her ne is not on her neck. He approached her.


    Came closer and closer to her.


    " Lance, why are you here atte night. Is everything ok?"


    That personughed like she said some joke. His eyes were red like a blood.


    " I came for you my dear, because I couldn''tplete what I was up-to due to some interruption. " he


    said in a mysterious voice.


    He came even more closer to her. Ze got scared by his unnatural behavior. He could see her fear in


    her eyes.


    "Lance, your eyes, it turned red."she said in a shivering voice.


    He smirked. He came closer and hold her neck tight. He attacked her. She tried to take his hand from


    her but it was a failure.


    This was the same vision,which she saw, when she touched Lance, when she was admitted in the


    hospital many months back.


    " Lance, leave me. What are you doing. You are going to kill me. Leave me". She screamed.


    Heughed viciously and Ze was shocked to see his beautiful fangsing out of his mouth.


    She screamed " what the hell"


    He made herself go as back as possible but he caught her tight. He put his fang closer to her neck and


    pricked her neck. Ze screamed very high. He sucked her blood out of her body. Everything seemed


    to be nk and ck for a second. She is not able to react. She struggled and her legs were


    hitting the bed hard.Her legs stopped moving, her struggles became less often, her visions faded and


    there was no movement.


    She opened her eyes to see everyone surrounding her.Merlin came closer to her and asked


    " what happened Ze?"


    She looked pale. She scanned her room. Her nket is in the same way how it was before. She got


    confused. She was breathing high. She controlled herself.


    " I think, I saw a nightmare. A very bad one." She said.


    " oh dear, don''t worry. Its just a dream. Sleep well." Said Mrs Peterson.


    They left the room except Lance. He sat near Ze.


    " Are you alright?" He asked


    She nodded her head. " it was a bad dream. The same one which I saw in the hospital when I touched


    you."


    She was sweating in that cold. He noticed that she don''t have her ne in her neck and she was


    pale.


    " where is your ne?"


    " its in the cup board."


    " please Ze, never ever remove it. Don''t you remember what your grandmother told you.Now


    promise me that you will never remove it."


    His words showed his worry for her.


    She got surprised to hear it from him. She nodded her head and said


    "Yes"


    He took her ne from the cup board and gave it to her. She feels some kind of pain and burning


    sensation in her birthmark. He gets worried seeing her suffering from the pain.Then she feels like her


    pain gets radiated to her neck.


    " what happened Ze?" Lance enquired.


    She rubs her neck with pain. He tries to see what happened but finds depression of two sharp canines.

    He gets angry after seeing this. And tells to himself " I wont leave him."


    Even Ze finds some kind of bite-mark on her neck and get scared about the nightmare what she saw.


    Lance gave her some kind of juice to drink.


    "Ze, drink this. This will help you." He said by passing the ss to her.


    She took the ss and drank it with bit difficulty.


    "Lance,I don''t know why do I have this strange feeling. I feel like there is some kind of danger. Some


    kind of evil.I feel like Im being followed by someone."


    "Ze, just don''t worry too much. Whatever happens to you have to cross me first." He gave her a


    reassuring smile.


    Actually it wasn''t a nightmare. It was Hance who came to Ze and suck her blood. He has an ability to


    convert someones conscious mind into subconscious that is to make them think reality is a dream.


    Lance came to know that this is Hance who did this to Ze. The visiones true, but it was not


    Lance, it was Hance.


    That day Lance slept on a sofa in that room.


    Next day early morning, after breakfast Lance is up-to drop Ze to her house. Ze found something


    weird during breakfast. Mrs.Peterson served a kind of red juice to everyone including Lance except her.


    She asked Lance " what is that ?"


    He said " its a ritual wine. Only we are supposed to drink it. Sorry"


    Ze smiled at this answer.


    She thought to herself " Ritual wine... weird.... what kind of family is it ? They are hiding something."


    Lance drops her back home. The days goes as usual. One day Lance and Ze went out.


    Ze met Eli and Percy on way and were talking to them. Lance went somewhere from there. Ze still


    continued talking to them. She didn''t find Lanceing back after a quite time. Eli and Percy walked


    away and Ze came in search of Lance. She came through a smallne.


    Her eyes widened, her face became pale, she started shivering,she was gasping for a moment. She


    was in a shock to see her boy friend in a condition she thought never exist except in her dream. Tears


    flowed from her eyes. She saw Lance putting his fangs into the neck of a guy and sucking his blood


    out.


    She screamed " LANCE...."
